My school is doing this thing where they're making black iced coffee with this special latté-like stuff in the top. It's $2.95 a cup (which is really pricy), and once you mix it it's ready to drink.

Sadly I've yet to try it, since I hold disdain for their regular coffee being so scorching with the absence of available ice machines. :(

In what universe is $2.95 pricy for a cup of coffee?

Considering they charge $1.50 for a 6-ounce bottle of apple juice and $2.50 for 4 ounces of popcorn chicken, it's easy to have a jaded perspective.

Or I could just be in my own reality. Either way, it's all good. ;D

I have never had a cup of coffee. Well, I had a sip and I found the taste revolting. Plus, I'm a pretty hyper person as is, so if I had a cup of coffee, the world might explode. XD

The regular coffee at my school is absolutely revolting, not to mention scorching hot and there's no ice in sight. They have a bunch of different flavors whose differences are like the difference between drinking blended toad guts and bird skin puree.

Are we talking Hot Chocolate in here? We can't have Hot Chocolate without me here! That's my all time favorite drinks! PC was having a little trouble a quote anything for me, so [supporter]Zorua[/supporter], I just want to say that if you drink the Hot Chocolate I make, you'll love it. Its just chocolate milk but hot. :) I prefer it way more than coffee. I don't like coffee, cappuccino, etc. I don't like the taste the moment coffee hits my tongue. It just doesn't taste loveable to me. I'm pretty satisfied without it.

True story, when I go out to eat with friends at restaurants, I even order Hot Chocolate even on a 100 degree sunny, summer day! My friends think I'm weird but hey, that's the price of being me! What am I going to do, order water or pop/soda/soft drinks over Hot Chocolate? Nahh ^_^

I love coffee! I dunno if you guys drink NesCafe, but its sooo addicting, especially the gold blend. Sure frappes are tasty, but hot NesCafe with milk is much better.
Hot chocolate though, eh. If its not quality, I'm not drinking it, much like proper chocolate.

If you guys want to experiment with coffee, I suggest trying a Dunkaccino. It's half coffee and half hot chocolate, so you really don't taste any coffee. I also used to not be a coffee person until I started working at this one coffee shop over the summer. Before then I worked at Starbucks, which I find has really bitter tasting coffee, but the stuff at the other shop is pretty fantastic. I still won't drink coffee by itself, but lattes are a good alternative. When you add sweetness to the espresso, it makes the flavor more tolerable, and sometimes even good. My go-to flavor is caramel.

I'm not really the biggest coffee drinker. I don't mind it and sometimes when I'm early for class I buy a coffee but it's not something I have often. Having so many cafes at uni and so many people to see has meant that I've slowly developed a taste for coffee though :P

Overall, however, I definitely prefer tea.

Coffee is an acquired taste, I think. I didn't start drinking it regularly and not being absolutely repulsed by how strong it was, no matter what I put in it, until I turned 19. Now I drink it just about every day and am willing to spend $5.00 on a cup.

I'm actually considering going to a starbucks near me and trying out their coffee. Hm...or maybe a frap would be sufficient...
Get a peppermint mocha instead. It's great this time of year and they make the best! When I die, I want to die from not being able to breathe because someone's shooting me with a hose with Starbucks peppermint mocha.

I like both coffee and tea.. except I can't have them both anymore because of this diet my doctor put me on >_<

Avoiding caffeine eh?

I actually like having coffee and tea... but only the iced variant. I just can't seem to tolerate hot drinks for a weird reason, especially after my experience with cup soup which I often left out to cool for so long I couldn't even enjoy it.

My mom braved the snow to get me coffee. ^_^

On a funny note, my family keeps getting into an argument about what to do with the Christmas tree. We have a fake one in the basement, but due to my aunt moving earlier in the year, we have a lot of her things in the house and have nowhere to put the tree. My dad still wants to put it up, but my mom wants to either forsake it completely or get a small replacement to put on the coffee table. I'm personally pushing for us to get a Charlie Brown tree.

Avoiding caffeine eh?
It's not just the caffeine per se, but also the sugar as well. Inb4 people say "don't use sweetener", I can't. It's more than sugar with as to why I can't have coffee or tea. :(

On occasion though I'll still have a glass of tea especially when I go out to eat, but other than that, no tea for me. And my mother is strict on orders from my doctor as well.
