I always use quick reply unless I'm testing something and I need to preview my post (for example, while messing with the CSS on my old trade shop), but still no double posting. I imagine I have before, but not recently. Although of course now that I'm stating that it doesn't happen, it's going to.

I only don't use it when quoting.
I use it even while quoting. I just remember or copy/paste what I want to respond to in quote tags.

@Seattle Especially when you post as often as I do.

That's why you copy/paste it if it's long. {:
I probably have actually quoted the proper way less than five times. I just typed the tags myself on the last forum I used, so of course I do it here. Although I don't have all of them memorized, considering how many PC has.

What if making the new thread isn't going to fix the issue?

Also, who's making the thread? Is the next thread up for grabs?

Edit: How about a contest? "Design the next DCC":

We PM the section mods entries on the next DCC thread for the quarter, and the winner gets the OP on the thread? And perhaps an emblem stating it?
Heyyyy, I actually like that. Considering that there are only four DCCs a year, I think it's not that bad of an idea either. The contest itself isn't exactly a CCP contest in context, but if enough people are interested, then why not. For now, though, the thread is up for grabs.

As for the new thread not fixing the problem, then we're kinda screwed :P

Yeah, it seems to me like it would end up more a contest among those who can code well. I myself have been procrastinating learning CSS, but I probably wouldn't participate even if I knew how haha.
I think it's a good idea, though. More interesting than just waiting for somebody to claim posting the new DCC.

Think of it this way: not all DCC threads have to be made with CSS. Some people can format text really pretty and get away with almost anything.
Yeah, that is true. In fact, it wasn't until recently that I formatted the T&I DCC to have a little CSS in it. But that was because when I created the DCC there, I wasn't as skilled at CSS as I am now. I'm still not quite the expert with CSS, but I certainly know my way around CSS more than ever.

I am horrible at CSS but you're quite good -- I really like your signature :D

Maybe people double click on the quick reply button or something? idk

I'm in the same situation as you Mac (yeah I'm still calling ya that) so I usually stick to one CSS coding, which is the one I'm using right now, only thing I change being the pic I'm using. In fact, this was the result of me trying to edit one of my friends' codes.

It's pretty nice and it's fine to call me that xD Everyone does! I just use the same thing as well (as you pointed out) and change the pic and the background color. It is nice and neat and simple enough for an idiot like me to figure out.
