Lillian came back outside smiling with the family with a girl. She was a brunette girl, beautiful. The family waved to Tulip and drove off leaving the girl with them.

"Oh. Guys. I forgot to tell you. I asked my parents too leave so we have the house to ourselves. I grab Darrens hand taking him inside.

Tulips sister walks around Gray eyeing him.

"You're pretty cute... My names Olivia. Tulip lived with my family. Whats your name?" Olivia asked smiling at him.

Tulip pulled Daren through the maze of a castle and to a huge bedroom. It had a canopy bed and touches of pink everywhere. There were dead flowers growing everywhere. But when Tulip stepped inside of the room all the flowers slowly sprung back to life becoming beautiful and vibrant again.

"This is our bedroom. Please make yourself at home. I mean. You could stay in your own room if we had one but there aren't enough bedrooms..." she said giggling.

She jumped on the bed giggling.

"My bed is stuffed with rose petals. Its great. Its a California king" she smiled. The bed was huge. It could probably fit 2 maybe even 3 Rexes.

Everything in the room was beautiful and soft.

"So um... I was wondering about your offer... could I maybe be your girlfriend or something?" Tulip asked getting up walking to Darren. She wrapped her hands around his waist and smiled.

"So...? Is that something you'd be interested in? If not... that's fine too." she said looking down then back into his eyes.

Arryn; Ice & Dark

Arryn quickly realised upon wandering around that if there were Hybrids, they've learnt to conceal themselves well. Any person she crosses on the streets just seem the average person, someone on their way to lunch, kids playing in the parks she walks by - must be the weekend - and of course, the amount of people that have their Pokemon beside them.

At that thought, Arryn brings her bag around and digs into it for Madox' Pokeball, letting him free. He gives her a sleepy yawn in greeting as Arryn scratches his muzzle. Even Shadow gives him an I-don't-like-you-but-hey-welcome-back hip bump.

The few apartment blocks that the trio find are nowhere near as abandoned as their home in Saffron. If anything, 'abandoned' doesn't even come close to describe the apartments. It's for the best, Arryn decides, strolling away from the heart of the city and around the outskirts. Six people in an apartment? That worked out so well last time.

"We all need separate rooms," she speaks aloud to her Pokemon that are taking in the new views, committing the streets and alleyways to memory. "A personal place that we can escape to, away from the drama, to just regain composure."

Fights were never far with their group and this would save anyone storming outside after an argument and possibly revealing true identities the public.

After another hour of walking, Arryn almost turns around to try her luck on the west side but pauses, balancing on the balls of her feet as she sees a row of maybe six, seven houses? A family of five are outside, by an RV and the father is hoisting heavy suitcases and a children's three seat bike inside with little help from the mother as she tries to contain the children playing in the grass with a soccer ball.

She waits a beat, then walks over.

"Do you need some help?" Arryn smiles as kindly as she can muster at the mother who looks like she hadn't even had time for a shower.

"Oh, would you, dear?"

Twin girls, maybe six, beam up at her with their four year old little brother pulling grass out of the lawn and attempting to make knot paying Arryn no mind.

"They're a bit of handful, but I really need to put the food inside for snack time. You can't even imagine what they're like when they are hungry."

Arryn wasn't positive that she was good with kids, but she might as well give it a try; especially since it occurs to her than she and the group might just stay in their house while they're gone.

"Are you our nanny?" One of the girls asks, hand raised high in the air.

"For the next ten minutes, yes." She sits cross legged, opposite the girls and points behind her where Madox and Shadow keep their distance, mildly confused at the change of plan. "Do you or your parents have any Pokemon?"

The other twin frowns. "No, not any more. Grandma had a Glameow but she moved away to the farm."

Arryn introduces Madox - because he would be much friendlier than Shadow who gives the children looks of indifference - to the children and he keeps them good company as the parents pack away the remaining items and food.

"How long will you be gone for?" Arryn questions the mother, trying not to sound to interested.

"Three weeks, can you believe it?" She fans herself. "My boss was devastated to let me go for so long, I'm the only one that helps keep that bakery together, of course."

Three weeks. That definitely bodes well for the group. Maybe, if they work together, they could get enough money in that time to find their own place with no need to squat in other people's homes.

The house, all in all, would suffice. The driveway is long enough to house an RV and a Ford Focus, it leads to a brown picket fence that is about four feet taller than Arryn - it must lead to the backyard - the path veers off to finally end at the front door. The house is made of brown and cream bricks and if she had a shot at a happy future, Arryn would consider this her dream home.

With how many people are in the family, there must be, at minimum, three bedrooms.

Eventually, the RV gets completely backed and the kids clambered on board with bribes of ice cream and 5pd each. Arryn stands on the driveway, waving goodbye and once the RV pulls out of sight, she makes a beeline for the house.

The door is, of course, locked, so she bustles around under the front door mat, around the pot plants, even reaching high to feel above the wall lamps' shades to feel for a spare key.

"Damn," she sighs, stepping back from the door to gaze up at the house. "I don't want them to know that someone broke in."

Arryn tries the windows next and hopes with all her might that there are no nosy neighbours in the area watching a young girl break into someone's house. No, officer, no Hybrids but there was a thief.

The back door, Arryn decides, less enthused as it will more than likely be locked. With Madox' help, she hops the fence and takes in the backyard, eyes widening slightly at how spacious and private it is with the large fences.

We could train our Pokemon here, easily, heck, we could even spar with each other!

In a better mood and more determined to stay in this house for the following weeks, Arryn looks around the yard for a key to the back door.

"Got it!" She whisper/screams her accomplishment, snatching the key from under the grill lid.

The back door slides open and Arryn steps in, a huge grin plastered on her face at their new home.

"Oh. Guys. I forgot to tell you. I asked my parents too leave so we have the house to ourselves."

I'm still staying here. I thought to myself.

"You're pretty cute... My names Olivia. Tulip lived with my family. Whats your name?"

I eyed down the brunette girl.

Ugh... More of her family members... Can't they all just leave me alone? I have an odd way of attracting the people I don't wanna attract. Regardless, This girl should just go away if I'm cold to her.

"You don't need to know my name... Go with your sister." I said to her, instantly brushing her off.

Olivia scoffed and crossed her arms.

"That bitch, is not my sister. Shes an impostor. She came and invaded my family. She made my parents love her and because of that they couldn't love me. She could do anything wrong. They even loved her when they found out she was a freak. She never even got in trouble. She would bring home boys in high school, have older guys over. She is disgusting trash who ruined my life. She is NOT my sister." Olivia growled then tossed her coffee brown hair.

"See? You aren't the only stone cold ass here." she smirked.

"So you dont have a girlfriend? I know Tulip was all over you. Let me guess... You don't have time for a girlfriend... Having a girlfriend is useless to you huh??" What about just a play mate?" she smirked playfully.

"I even saw my brother all over you. He knew you didn't swing that way. He's such an ass. The whole family is all over you. Except my parents." she looked into Grays eyes with hers. Olivia's were green like the color of envy...

"So you're waiting for you're friend? Is he your best friend? Oh wait. No no. You're probably too cool to have a best friend" she said pulling over a chair and sitting down and looking up at Gray with a mischievous smile.

"There's gonna be a pool party tonight... you going to come? Or are you too cool for that too?" she giggled. Not like Tulips giggle, a cold, mocking giggle.

Gray

"That *****, is not my sister. She is NOT my sister."

Oh? Is she perhaps envious of Tulip? I questioned myself.

"See? You aren't the only stone cold ass here." She told me with a smirk.

I smirked after hearing that. She may be annoying, but she definitely didn't know who she was talking to.

"So you dont have a girlfriend? I know Tulip was all over you. Let me guess... You don't have time for a girlfriend... Having a girlfriend is useless to you huh?? What about just a play mate?" she smirked playfully.

Heh, She's reading me like a book. Too bad for her I'm not interested in being "Playmates". Besides... Im out of her reach.

"So you're waiting for you're friend? Is he your best friend? Oh wait. No no. You're probably too cool to have a best friend" she said pulling over a chair and sitting down with a mischievous smile. "There's gonna be a pool party tonight... you going to come? Or are you too cool for that too?"

"Do you honestly think that I have time to hang out with someone like you? I'm out of your reach. You're different from Tulip, I'll give you that, but don't think you'll get any closer to me because of that." I said to her sitting down in place.

"Also, I'm a "Freak" Just like your sister... However, unlike her, if you make one false move when dealing with me, I'll end you."

Annabel

Annabel started looking around for a moment. She was getting a feeling that she was not alone. It felt there was another presence that was near her. It felt like.. it was someone that was just like her. But, she was feeling a bit uneasy, and she looked around, getting up from the ground as she got her bag and moved around carefully. She tried to go back to concentrating by collecting more berries and then she sighed.

'What is this feeling? Who's nearby..?' Annabel thought to herself before she let out a soft sigh.

She was trying to figure out what to do. She could call out whoever was around, but at the same time, she would want to run. She just couldn't decide. But, for now, she was trying to relax before she was starting to sing to herself as she went back to collecting berries once more.

Darren

Tulip grabbed Darren's hand and dragged him inside. What is with everybody dragging me around today? Houndoom ran after the two people. Darren looked at all the doors and expensive items scattered throughout the mansion as Tulip dragged him along. How much money do these people have? Tulip pulled Darren into a large bedroom with flowers everywhere. "This is our bedroom. Please make yourself at home. I mean. You could stay in your own room if we had one but there aren't enough bedrooms..." Tulip said as she giggled and let go of Darren's hand. Darren took a few steps forward and stopped as Houndoom walked up. "I'm fine sleeping wherever. You could give me a rock to sleep on and that'd be fine." Houndoom bit at one of the flowers that had come back to life, trying to figure out how it happened. Not sure how you wouldn't have enough rooms though. This place is huge. Tulip walked up to Darren, "So um... I was wondering about your offer... could I maybe be your girlfriend or something?", she said as she wrapped her arms around his waist. Well, it's too late to run away now so I guess I'll try and make this work. "Sure. If you really want." Darren said as he looked at Tulip. Darren looked around the room then back to Tulip, "Just wondering. Do your parents know about you? Ya know, being a hybrid?" he said, almost whispering the word "hybrid".

Shadow:

Shadow sat on his stump finishing up his chicken... he wasn't exactly sure what these 'chicken strips' were made of, but they were amazing. He had heard tells of an animal that was not like pokemon and was raised differently from a pokemon, but he had never actually see this 'chicken' as some call it. He thought that a chicken was something you called someone who was afraid, but obviously this wasn't a person he was eating.

He since something around him, but nothing seemed out of the ordinary. So he continued with his original plan. He looked at his pokemon. Lucarion and Greninja seemed to be talking to one another. Noivern watched over Eevee and Seedot as the two play at Noivern's feet.

"Alright guys. How about we pick some berries. Get whatever you want and I'll store them in this berry bag." Shadow said.

He pokemon nodded and they spread out throughout the opening, getting different berries. Noivern flew to the top of the trees to get some of the riper and plumper berries. He avoided messing with berries that had the wild pokemon around so he did not accidentally hurt them.

Lucario climbed up trees and picked berries. Greninja used its long tongue to pick them. Eevee and Seedot reached as high as they could, but the were too small. It seemed to make them sad, which brought a playful smile to Shadow's face.

He walked over to the two small pokemon, "Don't worry you two, one day you will be able to reach those berries it that tree." He said, patting both on their head.

After a while, they managed to pick enough berries, and Shadow stored them in his berry bag. The berry bag was a large bag. He honestly wasn't sure how so many berries fit in the bag, but they did.

"Good job guys. Return for a long rest." Everyone returned, but Lucario dodged the light.

"What's wrong Lucario?" Shadow asked in surprise.

Lucario never did things like this unless he sense something.

'Cario. Lucario. Cario Lucario cario.' Lucario said gesturing with his hands at himself and Shadow. Then pointing into a certain direction.

"Someone is near? With a Lucario? Someone with a similar aura as me?" Shadow asked.

'Cario Cario. Lucario.' Lucario nodded and pointed toward the source.

It was then Shadow thought he heard singing on the wind. It was a low tone, but hybrids had better hearing than humans in most cases. Shadow listened to the wind a little more as it blew by his ears. He could definitely hear singing, but it seemed as if she almost didn't want to be noticed.

"Ok. Come on. Don't attack though. I don't think this person is a threat." Shadow said.

Lucario nodded in agreement.

Shadow and Lucario walked at a slow pace, but slow enough where Speed Boost didn't activate. He had learned slightly how to control Speed Boost, but he had to walk slow. He walked through so trees and bushes. The singing got a little louder as he got closer. He could see someone picking berries. He walked out of the bushes with Lucario and could see the girl now. She had purpleish hair. She wore a black jacket with some netting and white shorts. He could tell that she was the same age. He know could tell that they had a similar aura as well. It has been said that those who possess a Lucario, have a strong aura around them. And can use the power of the aura for many things. But Shadow had never tried to use his aura for anything, as he wasn't sure how to use other than to make an aura sphere.

"Hey there. I didn't know anyone else was out here. I am sorry for dropping in like this, but you have a pretty voice." Shadow said as he stopped a safe distance away, but close enough where he could be heard without having to yell over the river that was near.

How did I not see her from the sky? I guess you can't see everything from the sky. I need to remember that. Otherwise, I might get myself killed by landing in the wrong spot at the wrong time.

Annabel

Annabel started looking over for a moment, and then gave a light, friendly smile as she turned to face Shadow and shook her head. "It's alright. I didn't know anyone was actually listening." She replied honestly as she started walking over and put her hands at her sides briefly.

"I actually didn't know anyone was around until I had used my.. aura and I started to sense you.. and your Lucario as well. I have one as well. Anyways, I had came out here to collect some berries. And being out here relaxes me, you know?" She asked.

She then smiled softly and started to relax herself. "I'm Annabel, by the way. But you can call me Anna." She replied softly.

Arryn; Ice & Dark

It was no mansion, but damn if it wasn't an improvement.

The back door is situated in the living room, just next to the two beige couches and brown armchair that face a widescreen television hoisted up on the olive green wall. One of those real fluffy carpets sits beneath a white coffee table and Arryn hastens to kick her converse off and walk around on the mat, giggling as she does - and Arryn doesn't giggle.

Shoes discarded, Arryn turns around to face the kitchen. A black marble counter top is what separates the living room and kitchen and the wooden floors cut off into dark gray stone tiles. At the counter sits three white leather stools and she tests them out, swivelling around in a few circles, arms spread out widely.

With a burst of anticipation, Arryn hops off the stool and pads further into the kitchen, eager to see what lies in the stainless steel fridge - brownies, milk, eggs, butter, the usual. In the freezer that acts as a pull out draw beneath the fridge are countless microwave meals.

Returning to the living room, Arryn follows the short hallway until arriving at a staircase to her left - to the right of the front door - and a study to her right. She peers into the study, set up with bookcases filled to the brim and a glass desk that supports a computer desktop. Been awhile since I've used one of those.

Upstairs are four bedrooms. The master on the immediate left, a room that the twin girls share opposite the master, the son's room next to the girls and a guest room next to the master, opposite the sons. Two bedrooms with double beds, one with a single decorated with Spider-Man sheets and the girls with My Little Pony queen beds.

And, miraculously, two bathrooms. One connects to the master bedroom and another that Arryn assumes the kids share.

Satisfied with the living arrangement, Arryn goes down the stairs to see Shadow and Madox taking up residency on the couches.

"What do you guys think?"

"Fur - Furr," Madox purrs, nuzzling the leather couch.

Shadow says nothing, so she must love it, too.

Shadow:

"It's alright. I didn't know anyone was actually listening. I actually didn't know anyone was around until I had used my.. aura and I started to sense you.. and your Lucario as well. I have one as well. Anyways, I had came out here to collect some berries. And being out here relaxes me, you know?" The girl said as she smiled at Shadow.

Shadow was trying to gather up his words again. He really hated not being able to talk to people. He wasn't able to talk to girls very well, until he met Arryn and Tulip, who had helped him talk some. Now this time was different, he was nervous. The only time he had been alone in the past few days were in the park, but he didn't have trouble talking to children. The other time when he was actually alone with a female was when he had saved Arryn, but he had only said like eight words to her then. Not to mention he was able to talk while their lives were in danger.

"I'm Annabel, by the way. But you can call me Anna." Anna said as she started to relax. Shadow could tell that she seemed to be quiet, shy or nervous by the way she was talking.

Shadow closed his eyes and then took a deep breath. He reopened his eyes and smiled.

"Well nice to meet you Anna. I'm Shadow." He said as he looked around the area for a moment.

He looked back at Lucario who was also looking around the area. He thought they were being watched by someone, but he couldn't sense anyone around. So he ignored it.

"I was having lunch with my pokemon. I then had to restock on my berries, so yeah, I know how you feel. I prefer being out here away from everyone most of the time. I didn't see you from the sky on my Noivern. Otherwise, I may have let you be at peace so sorry for that. I guess that is something I need to remember on my Noivern. To be honest, I didn't even know you were around until my Lucario sensed you and that is when I started hearing your voice on the wind." Shadow said.

He readjusted his hat and jacket. His swords weren't hidden by anything, but to show he meant no harm. He unbuckled the sheath for his swords and put them on the ground.

"Sorry about that. I wanted to take them off so you had nothing to fear. I know how it can be when it comes to trusting new people. So you have a Lucario as well. I kinda thought so. You seemed to be a person who would have one." Shadow said.

Hmm. I wonder if she is a hybrid. He wondered in his head.

He looked around the forest again. It had gotten a little too quiet. All that could now be heard was the river and the wind.

Annabel

Annabell looked over at him and nodded. "Yeah. I've had my Lucario for a long time. I had raised him since he was a Riolu. In my travels, a man have given me an egg. I didn't know much about it, but I would take care of it and one day, the egg hatched and there was Riolu. He's my other partner pokemon besides my Samurott. I love all my pokemon like they were my friends.." She paused for a moment and then smiled.

"Actually, they were the only friends I have because of what I am. You see.. there are people who are afraid of me because I am a Hybrid and when people find out, they would completely ignore me. I used to be able to get along with people just fine, but.. a close friend of mine I once had since I was a child had turned their back on me and started to bully me. It became worse to the point where I would shut down in front of someone I would meet.. but, for some reason now, I feel so calm and relaxed."

Anna had finally found herself so calm and happy at that moment. It had been a long time since she was able to actually speak to anyone.

Shadow:

Shadow listened to Anna's story. That he was surprised to hear about. They other members of his group hadn't told him anything. He knew Gray once worked for Giovanni. Tulip was boy crazy. Arryn needed that thing around her neck to stay in control. But he wasn't sure about Darren and Rex.

It became worse to the point where I would shut down in front of someone I would meet.. but, for some reason now, I feel so calm and relaxed." Anna said.

Shadow smiled, "Well. One reason might be because of this."

Shadow held his hand out and made his palm face the sky. He sensed something was coming toward them, but it had no life force. Shadow channeled his aura into his hand and within a second, an aura sphere forced in his hand. The Aura swirled in its normal blue color in a blinding speed.

"I am a hybrid as well. But don't relax just yet." At that moment a robot zoomed out of the trees and came at them. Shadow launched the sphere at the robot and the robot exploded on impact with the robot. The robot was torn to shreds by the sphere.

Shadow's Lucario, channeled a sphere and looked around the area to watch for anymore. Shadow ran toward the robot and looked at it. There was part of a letter on it, but he wasn't sure what it was. Shadow saw the eyes move.

"It's a robot camera. Someone was spying on one of us." Shadow said as he crushed the robots eyes with another aura sphere to the face.

"Lucario, do you sense anymore?"

'Lucario. Ario Lucario.' The Lucario shook his head.

"So there was only one."

Damn it. I bet anything this is a Team Rocket robot. Probably following me. And now thanks to me. They know Anna is a hybrid as well. She isn't safe alone. Although Team Rocket probably had a whole database with us in it. But why was it only a camera, could they be watching us for some reason? And why did it come out like it did if they were watching....? Oh crap.... It was then he realized, in his head, that this thing was rigged to blow up.

He quickly turned toward Anna and Lucario as a ticking started. He got to them and an everything from the robot exploded.

"Quickly, use your bone rush as a wheel to protect us Lucario." Shadow commanded.

Lucario obeyed swirled a giant bone it made out of nothing and created a protective shield in front of them and sent everything away from them.

The dust settled and the pokemon of the wild started playing again as if nothing had happened. The sounds returned, giving a reason to believe nothing else hostile was around.

"Ok... if only things could have gone smoother... But I guess you can't expect everything to work out in this world. I don't believe anything else is around, no hostile or out of the ordinary at least. The pokemon would remain silent other wise." Shadow said.

Shadow turned to Anna who was behind him and Lucario.

"This is sudden, but it may be best for you to come with me for now. I know I am a complete stranger, but we are both hybrids and I have a group of friends who are also hybrids... well as close as friends as you are going to get. I don't think it will be safe to wander around alone. Although I think you are more than capable to take care of yourself. That thing was probably after me and now that you have said you are a hybrid, they might come looking for you next. I will let you choose. I am not going to force you." Shadow said as he settled down.

He surprised him that his Speed Boost did not activate during that little confrontation. He wondered why.

Jason and his Whimsicott both froze in place as they sensed energy being released somewhere behind them. Jason put his canteen back in hid bag, and noticed a cloud of smoke in the air. "Did someone just shoot a poor pidgey out the sky..?" Pulling out Whim's pokeball, Jason said, "Better to return you, I don't want that to happen to you." The Pokemon nodded, and was sent back inside. Cloaking himself with the aura of the plant, Jason headed on his way towards the smoke, hidden in the bush.

As Jason slowly got into hearing range, he caught a man mid sentence. "I don't think it will be safe to wander around alone. Although I think you are than capable to take care of yourself. That thing was probably after me and now that you have said you are a hybrid, they might come looking for you next. I will let you choose. I am not going to force you."

Jason's eyes widened in surprise. Two of them, but more importantly, one was a hybrid. Just like himself. Never the less, they had to explain themselves, and why they blasted a poor pidgey out the sky. He wasn't about let them abuse the helpless. With a hand positioned to pull out his whip, Jason stepped out of the bush he was hiding in and approached the two with a smile on his face.

"Sorry to bother you two, but can I ask what all the commotion is all about?" He said, studying the girl. She must be the Hybrid.

Shadow:

Shadow jumped as a new voice sounded.

"Sorry to bother you two, but can I ask what all the commotion is all about?" The new comer said.

What the hell... How.... how did I not sense him... How did Lucario at least no sense him. Shadow said as he turned around.

There was a boy coming up behind them. Shadow stared him down. The boy had his hand at his side, ready to draw it. The boy himself was 5 inches shorter than Shadow.

"Who are you?" Shadow asked.

Shadow was storing up energy in case the boy attacked, but he showed no aggression yet.

"And if you must know, a robot zoomed out of the woods armed with a self destruct system. Were you the one who sent it? If you are, I suggest you start explaining." Shadow was slightly more aggressive. More than he should have been. Most likely it was due to the fact that a robot, possibly from Team Rocket, was spying on him and then attempted to kill him.

Shadow did not like people sneaking up on him, and it made him slightly annoyed that this one had done just that. He didn't think this boy was the cause of it. But he was still on his guard. Lucario was in attack position if it came to it. Shadow didn't have his weapons close enough to pick them up. He was hoping that it wouldn't come to that.

Annabel

Annabel had looked over and she nodded. "Alright. I will come. And as you said, I'm not safe traveling alone, so I will listen to you." Anna replied.

She was then looking over and frowned. "Look.. as long as there are people watching us, we're not safe at all. And I don't think we need a fight here. We have got to stay calm." She replied, looking around to see if they were being watched again. But, she couldn't sense anyone or anything, she let out a soft sigh.

She looked over at Jason and frowned. "So who are you?" She asked, sounding a bit nervous.

Jason relaxed his hand, and comed his hair with the other. He gave Shadow and Anna a smile.

"Sorry, where are my manners? My name is Jason, and no, I didn't send any robots at y'all. I thought it was a pidgey you shot out of the sky, that's why I came to investigate." Looking around, he found the shattered pieces of the robot. Jason slowly walked over to the robot, and couched down to examine it. He squinted his eyes, with a puzzled look on his face. "Why was that thing after you... was it because she is a Hybrid?" he said, turning to face them.

Arryn; Ice & Dark

After sharing the home-made brownies with her Pokemon, Arryn sets off with just Shadow to go to the meet up point, leaving Madox to guard the house.

"We'll stay for an hour," she decides as she and Shadow walk down the driveway. "If they don't show up, we'll come back and try again tomorrow." Arryn hopes that the group are enjoying themselves at Tulip's mansion, they all deserve a good break and she doesn't want to rush them away from a life of luxury too soon if they're content where they are.

Finding a place so far from the Radio Tower made for an exhausting walk, and once at the destination, Arryn sits on one of two fountains' edges, revelling in the soft spray of cold water on the nape of her neck.

Shadow relaxed some, still on edge slightly, but no more than normal. He nodded when Anna agreed to go.

"Look.. as long as there are people watching us, we're not safe at all. And I don't think we need a fight here. We have got to stay calm." Anna said.

"So who are you?" Anna repeated what Shadow had asked, but she was nervous.

"Sorry, where are my manners? My name is Jason, and no, I didn't send any robots at y'all. I thought it was a pidgey you shot out of the sky, that's why I came to investigate."

Hmm. Not bad. He must care for all pokemon to worry about a wild one like that. Shadow thought as he allowed the energy he was storing to stop. And let it go back to normal.

"Why was that thing after you... was it because she is a Hybrid?" he said, turning to face them after looking at the robot.

"No not because she is. But because I am. I am a hybrid that just came from Kanto. I killed 11 Team Rocket members because they threatened a friend. I tried to let them live. When I left 10 attacked me and I had no choice if I wanted to live. And to protect a friend." Shadow said as he relaxed slightly more.

Lucario followed as he stood alone now, "Lucario, return for now my friend." Shadow said.

Lucario nodded as the red light hit the pokemon and sucked it back into its poke ball.

"I cannot promise they you will be welcomed with open arms. As some of the people of my group can be... unfriendly at times. I am not the leader of the group. However since this is my fault and you may have been fine if you hadn't met me, I will make sure you are safe. Don't want someone getting hurt because of me." He said to Anna.

He looked back over at Jason and noticed an aura around him, "Your a hybrid aren't you? You have the aura of a plant. That would explain why me or Lucario did not sense you. If you are, then you can join us. I will warn you though, there is a boy crazy female in the group. She is a grass and fairy type, so she may be all over you. Unless she has herself under control."

Damn... what am I doing? I shouldn't be offering the option for people to join. Gray is going to be pissed. With that mansion, maybe our group can be supported. But Arryn said she was looking for a new house for us. Oh Arryn. He thought as he looked at the clock.

I wish she hadn't scurried off alone. She was with me the night off the raid on Silph Co. She might be targeted. But Team Rocket may not see her as a threat and I don't think Giovanni would want to piss Gray off. I wish I could give the C-Gears to them. He thought as he went to pick up his swords and Bag.

Jason stood up, streching his legs and arms. "No not because she is. But because I am. I am a hybrid that just came from Kanto. I killed 11 Team Rocket members because they threatened a friend. I tried to let them live. When I left 10 attacked me and I had no choice if I wanted to live. And to protect a friend."
Jason's eyes widened. He took on 11 Rocket members by himself?! I couldn't do that... Jason started to take a liking to Shadow. He seems to have similar values to Jason, which he liked. As Shadow returned his Lucario, Jason sent out his Whimsicott, as she didn't enjoy being locked up for long periods. She nuzzled his cheek, while he was busy thinking about the situation. He could hear Shadow talking to Anna, but this time he wasn't paying attention - until he heard his name.

Jason pondered this. While he was used to the isolated life, he always wanted to be a part of something bigger. He felt the need to help and protect this group, as so he made up his mind to join. Plus the grass type girl was a bonus, as he was getting a little
"Yeah, I'm a hybrid. Pure grass type. Who is 'us'? Do you have a group of other hybrids? If so, I'd love to come along." Jason said, bending over to pile up the robot scraps. Maybe someone could tinker with it in the group. If not, Jason wanted it out of here - this stuff belonged to the city, not outdoors. He carefully put the pieces in his bag, making sure to get all that he could see.
