Gray

Suddenly out of nowhere, I slam back onto the bed again. I look over and see Arryn now standing up. Soon, she speed walks towards the door.

"I'm going to go search for Rex,"
Is what she briefly said before she exits the room, Slamming the door.

After a few seconds have passed, I soon just realized what had happened. I had been ditched.

"Oh? I see how it is..." I said outloud, sounding spiteful.

"TULIP!" I called out. "Give me a cup of water. Now..." I demanded, angry that I let myself get too caught up in the moment.

I cannot believe I showed a sign of weakness... I become nice and this is what I get? Hmph, I was never ment to show kindness.

I glare at the ceiling as the train moved, feeling a sense of loss and rejection.

"Did I miss something?"

"Nope... Are you okay? You seem lost in your thoughts... is it about the girl you thought you saw...?" she then realized she had went into his thoughts without asking.

"Oh... Im sorry... Ill try to stop going in your thoughts..." she said feeling bad.

"TULIP! Give me a cup of water. Now..." Gray screamed at her. Her heart did a flip. She loved when he was all demanding...

She stood up dropping Darren's hand and getting Gray a cup of water. She went inside the bedroom and handed it to Gray.

"Here you go... Do you need anything else? A massage? A human pillow? Yours seemed to have left..." she said lightly looking down then looking back at Gray, blushing slightly.

Gray

Feeling Rejected and annoyed, I grab the cup of water she got for me. After taking a tiny sip, I dump the rest on the floor, wasting it.

"Throw the cup out..." I demanded once more, dropping the cup on the floor.

In a sense, It kinda felt relieving knowing that Shadow and Darren try so hard for Tulip, But she'll do whatever I want. This is called sphere of influence... Something Gio has taught me when I was younger.

I'll give them some advice once we're off this train.

Gray threw the water on the floor.

"Throw the cup out..." he said. I bent over and picked up the cup. It was glass. i walked back and set the cup down and came back with a towel. I put it on the floor, too soak up the water.

"Are you sure you dont need anything? You seem tense... A massage... or anything... I can get it for you." she said kindly and softy.

She wondered why her charms didn't work on Gray. Maybe since he was so strong... She wanted to be strong too... Oh well... She sat at the edge of the bed looking at Gray. He was very handsome... He had a nice strong body... A good face too. She found herself staring and blushing and looked away.

"Well if you need anything just holla." she said smiling softly.

Darren

"You seem lost in your thoughts... is it about the girl you thought you saw...?" Tulip asked. "Yeah..." Darren said, irritated that Tulip was reading his mind again. Gray ordered Tulip to get him a cup of water. Asshole... you've got working legs and arms, get the water yourself. Tulip dropped Darren's hand and ran off.Seriously? She doesn't question him? She just obediently servres him? Darren listened to Tulip talk to Gray, then stood up. That's it, I'm done with these mind games. Darren walked out of the room, followed by Houndoom.

Darren walked to the bar and sat down. "I don't know what that is, but I'll take it." Darren pointed to a random bottle on a shelf. The bartender walked up to Darren and stared at him, "I don't think that-" Darren raised his right fist and it burst into flames, "Get me the damn bottle". The bartender quickly grabbed the bottle and handed it to Darren then quickly moved away. "Houndoom doom." Darren looked down at Houndoom, "Yeah well I don't really care if they know I'm a hybrid now. You honestly think they're gonna try fighting me here?"

Shadow:

Shadow walked through the carts. He looked out the windows and suddenly wasn't hungry for one reason or another. Possibly because of the speed they were going. He was afraid that if he ate now, that he might get sick. Instead he got one of his last berries out of his bag. It was a Pecha Berry and he started to eat it. He wanted to make some Kalos Macrons once they got to Goldenrod as well. So he would definitely have to get some berries.

He figured that Rex was wise enough to get on the train when Darren showed up so he wasn't really worried about the mountain man. He took out to pokeballs form his side and took a seat next to an older man.

"Eevee. Seedot. Come on out." He said.

The acorn and fox pokemon popped out and got in his lap. Eevee Curled up while Seedot took a seat between the old man and Shadow.

"You guys are gonna help me out today. We are going to pick berries." He said.

The Eevee rubbed its head up against the hand Shadow had placed on it and the Seedot jumped up and down before sitting down again.

"That is a fine Eevee you got there whippersnapper. Are you planning to evolve it?" The old man next to him asked.

Shadow looked at the older man and smiled. He had actually though about evolving it into an Umbreon, but I guess it would be up to Eevee.

"Thank you. I actually wanted to evolve it into an Umbreon, but I am not going to force it to evolve into that if it does not want to. It really is up to Eevee."

"That's good. Really good. It shows how much you actually care about your pokemon. Her take these. They are known as Black Glasses. You seem to like dark pokemon. These glasses will enhance a Dark Attack's power. You can also where them for fun." The old man said, giving a pair of black glasses to him.

"Oh thanks. Are you sure?"

"Not a problem. Me and my pokemon are too old to travel, and I don't have any close family. I wanted to give someone something to pass on what I have learned as a trainer. Here is something that I have learned over the years. Dark is said to be evil. However, that is not true. We use darkness for sleep and pokemon live in it. With out darkness, there is no light. And if perhaps you want to use darkness for yourself, don't be afraid of it." The old man said.

Shadow looked at the old man. Taking in the elder's words in.

"You are a hybrid. I know. Do not threat. So am I. Let me give you the knowledge I have learned. Because me and you share the same typing." The old man said in a voice low enough for his ears only. placing a hand on Shadow's.

Shadow quickly stood, afraid at what my happen, but then he staggered. Words and images filled his head. Knowledge of dark and fighting filled his mind. A YinYang symbol swirled around him as it got larger and smaller continuously. The knowledge raced through his mind, most in which he knew, but some he didn't. Including ideas on how to make dark blades out of dark power, one handed and two handed swords. Secretes about stealth and other ideas swam around him like a whirlpool. The YinYang symbol closed in around him. The symbol was absorbed into his body. He was pretty sure he was the only one that saw it.

"It will take some time to learn. But I know you will master it it Whippersnapper. Now I must be on my way. Good talking to you." The old man said as he got up to leave.

Shadow looked as his pokemon and back at the old man, but the old man was gone. There was no sign of him.

"W...what the heck..." Shadow said as he looked in the direction the old man had went, but vanished.

Shadow looked down at the Black Glasses, and placed them in his bag. He looked at his hands. In amazement at what he had just witnessed.

She heard the door slam and opened the door to the living room seeing that Darren had stormed off. She went out the doors and started walking a little ways passing people. She didn't want to leave Gray but she loved Darren.

Wait... Did I say love? she thought. She say him sitting at the bar with Houndoom. She entered the car and sat in the chair next to him.

"Darren... Im sorry... Im sorry I was over dramatic earlier.. Im sorry Im so hot and cold... Im sorry I dont know what Im feeling... Im sorry I flirt with Gray... Im sorry I read your thoughts... Im just sorry. The truth is... I think I love you. Im sorry... Okay... Im sorry for pissing you off... I hate doing it. I hate upsetting you... Im so sorry." she held it together better than she thought she would. No tears... She took a deep breath after the verbal vomit she just layed on Darren.

She grabbed his hand.

"Is that offer still on the table...? The one about me being your girlfriend?" she asked softly blushing. She hoped he'd say yes but if not its not like she didn't have a back up plan.

Annabel

Before Annabel wanted to wander around the city, she thought she would bring out one of her pokemon to accompany her. She looked for a moment and then decided she wanted to bring her Lucario out.

"Come on out, Lucario." She said, the aura pokemon coming out of the ball and looked at Annabel. She had a bright smile when she was looking at it.

"Want to walk around the city with me?" She asked, her Lucario nodded in acknowledgment. It brought a smile to her face and started walking. She would remember she was raising her Lucario back when it was a Riolu. She had some very fond memories. And now, she had a close bond with it.

She thought she would browse some of the shop, hoping that she could restock and think about some things for a while.

Rex

With the train moving now, they should be in Johto in no time. Rex looks at all the empty plates before him, thinking maybe he should have ordered three of everything. Despite eating almost twenty plates of food, he's still hungry. He's about to call for the waiter when he hears a startled shout.

Rex looks up to see a panicked bartender hastily retreat from someone with a burning hand. Much to his surprise (and subsequent annoyance) the man is Darren! Seeing him so casually blow his cover annoys Rex, and seeing him slug back the bottle of booze annoys him even more.

"Oh, come on! I thought all this nonsense was left behind in Saffron!" Rex pushes out of his seat, angrily heading over to Darren. His steps shake the floor, sending ripples through a cup of whiskey located on the bar.

He gets close enough to catch some of Darren's words. "...I don't really care if they know I'm a hybrid now. You honestly think they're gonna try fighting me here?" Rex responds by knocking the bottle away from Darren.

"I think someone might try, actually. Hybrids aren't well liked, you arrogant ass."

Arryn
Arryn arrives on the scene and wavers unsurely by the door, her eyes flicking around at the different patrons throwing Darren and Rex looks. Shadow bumps her head against Arryn's thighs, urging her forward.

"Guys, let's not attract more unwanted attention," she cautions as she makes her way over, stopping to stand behind Tulip. She eyes the bottle of a type of alcohol that there's no point in even trying to identify. There was no room to judge him as she had turned to booze on those particularly stressful days herself, but to explode in front of so many people when they're trying to be inconspicuous...

"I'm glad you made it on the train, Rex," Arryn smiles fleetingly at him. There was no real question that he couldn't get on board, but she was a worry wart. "Tulip managed to grab us a suite," she jerks her thumb over her shoulder in the direction of where she came from. "There are two adjoining bedrooms, too."

She places a hand on Darren's shoulder - hesitant, as to not startle him or make him too upset - and gently tugs, letting her hand fall back to her side.

"Let's just go wait this train ride out in peace, ok?"

Right as Darren is about to speak, the train cars rumble and Rex comes in.

"I think someone might try, actually. Hybrids aren't well liked, you arrogant ass." Rex said to Darren rather rudely. She got off of the chair.

"Do not talk to him like that! You have no right to be such an asshole!" she screamed at Rex. She punched him in the chest lodging a leech seed deep into him.

She turns around to see Arryn touching Darren.

"Let's just go wait this train ride out in peace, ok?" Arryn said softly, like she was trying to seduce him or something.

"So Gray just wasn't enough? Now you have to try and take Darren too?" she growled shoving Arryn back into the wall.

She had no idea where all this aggression was coming from... It was awful... She couldn't even control herself.

"BOTH OF YOU STAY AWAY FROM DARREN!" she screamed. It was like the green eyed monster had taken over her.

Arryn
Tulip screams at both her and Rex, causing an even bigger scene and Arryn just wants to punch her at this stage. What an idiot.

Arryn returns her shove and fixes her with a hard glare. "Why do you have to act like such a child? Are relationships all you think about?" She pushes Tulip's shoulder again, backing her up as Arryn moves forward. "Haven't you thought about, oh, I don't know, Giovanni and what he's done to us?"

She's had enough and the leech seed that Tulip had planted in Rex's chest grates on her that much more. "You leech seeded a friend, someone that has given you way more than what you deserve."

Maybe she miscalculated and figured Tulip to be smarter than she let on... Darren had made himself known as a Hybrid and Tulip just condemned them all. This might not be a revenge trip for her but a new start. Didn't she royally screw that up in the first ten minutes...

"I don't know who you are or what you've done with Tulip," Arryn glares at who she thought to be like her sister. "But when you're ready to apologise, I'll be in the suite."

To actually think that I was trying to - what, hit on Darren? - was the most ludicrous thought Tulip has come up with so far. I was just trying to calm him down.

Arryn stalks off, done with the drama. Since when did this become freakin' high school?

"Why do you have to act like such a child? Are relationships all you think about?"Haven't you thought about, oh, I don't know, Giovanni and what he's done to us?"

"You leech seeded a friend, someone that has given you way more than what you deserve."

"I don't know who you are or what you've done with Tulip, But when you're ready to apologize, I'll be in the suite."

The words... the pushes... She starts to build up energy for a moonblast then at the last second stops and collapses onto the floor. she didn't know what just happened but... it was awful. The green drained out of her eyes and she looked up to see Arryn gone... What had she done... She didn't know what was the cause of this outburst... She felt exhausted again.

The leech seed disintegrated and Rex was free.

"We'll talk later." she said to Darren going back to the suite.

"Arryn... Im sorry... I dont know whats happening... it was so scary... I promise it shouldn't happen again... I wont loose control of my body..." She said out of breath. She looked rather pale... Then she went to the room Gray was in and collapsed on the bed. Her eyelids felt heavy and then darkness... Her breathing slowly went down and down... Then she stopped breathing.

Shadow:

Shadow had went to the dining car as he heard some yells. He had returned his pokemon in case it was a problem that little pokemon shouldn't be caught up in. He watched the scene unfold, to his surprise it was his own group.

"What the hell..." He muttered to himself. He wasn't sure what happened.

He watched from the side away from the group of hybrids who seemed to be on the verge of fighting themselves. He let Lucario out of his pokeball. As Arryn walked away from Tulip. To his great surprise, Tulip was charging a Moon Blast.

What the hell are you doing Tulip! He yelled inside of his head.

He turned to Lucario, "If she attacks, use Aura Sphere and block it. Try to send it outside of the train, I don't want anyone getting hurt."

'Cario.' Lucario nodded.

To his great relief, the power dropped from Tulip and she fell to her knees. Shadow had noticed her eyes had turned a greenish color, like his turned purple when Pure Power was active. It had taken him by total surprise, but her eyes returned to normal. Tulip chased after Arryn. Shadow then turned his attention back to Darren and Rex.

"Darren must have done something to piss Rex off. I don't want to get involved, especially against Rex. He is still way taller than I am, but he has far more brute strength than me." Shadow told himself in a low voice.

He looked around, he could see fear in people's eyes.

Damn it. They were suppose to start fresh. Damn it all! They are going to get us killed. Can none of them control their anger! He thought, but then he bit his lip.

I guess I am no better. But at least I don't use my powers unless I have to! I think if I walk slow enough, speed boost won't activate. But I need to work on that once we are odd this damned train. I also need to work at controlling pure power. As much is I want to believe it, there will be times where I don't have her amulet on my hand.

He looked at Lucario, "Stand down Lucario. If they are going to act like this, I won't no part of them. Not here."

Lucario looked at Shadow, but then nodded. They walked through toward the back of the train.

Rex

Tulip's anger had taken Rex off guard, but she was still much smaller and weaker than him. As long as she's not using her Fairy powers he'll be fine. He decides to just let her hit him, thinking she'll exhaust herself.

He had forgotten about Leech Seed.

He is completely oblivious to the following conversation as the seed in his chest saps his energy. He falls to his knees at one point, unable to stand. His vision turns red and a primal roar fills his head.

Then, it stops. The seed is gone, and he can move again. His vision slowly returns to normal, and he sees Tulip leaving. He falls back on his backside, breathing heavily. "What just happened?" He doesn't even care about Darren's little stunt now. After Tulip and Arryn's reactions, the cat was out of the bag. This trip just got a lot more difficult.

At least you didn't expose yourself. The thought isn't very comforting, but he does feel a little proud of himself.

Darren

Darren stared at the bottle in his hand as an image of Claire passed through his mind. "Down the hatch" Darren muttered before chugging the drink. Tulip walked up an apologized to Darren. Darren turned to say something but stopped as Rex walked up and knocked the bottle out of Darren's hand. Both of Darren's fists burst into flames and he stared at the counter. Don't do it. This is not a good place... Darren stood up and punched Rex in the jaw. "Arrogant huh? I'm minding my own business and you just walk over and knock my drink out of my hand. And I'm the arrogant one?!" Darren started to say more but Tulip cut him off and punched Rex, planting a leech seed in him. This day is really pissing me off... Darren watched Tulip and Arryn walk away, then turned back to Rex. "So what if they try attacking me? People are going to try killing me no matter where I am. That's how this world works, you either fit in with normal humans or you die. And I sure as hell don't fit." Darren sat back down and grabbed a bottle out of someone else's hand and started drinking.

Gray

I ignore tulips request to message me. Soon after Darren left, She went chasing after him. A couple moments later I hear some shouting and loud thumps.

"... Idiots... I'm the most violent of them all, yet it seems like I'm the only one who can retain composure..."

Soon after, There was silence, followed by Tulip bursting into the room, jumping on the bed I was in. I said nothing to her, as I didn't want to talk to anybody. Not knowing her heart was stopping, I sat up from the bed, and walked out of the suite. As I done so, I see Arryn, being reminded of my toyed with emotions.

All I did, was glare at her, before walking past her, my look revealing more words than I can ever say.

Once I'm past Arryn, I can see Rex and Darren. Rex seemingly looking tired with a red mark on his jaw and Darren chugging himself away with a beer. I look past them and see the looks of terrified people. Shadow and his Lucario stood next to the two other Hybrids and I sigh.

"For starters..." I paused, walking up to Darren.I grab the bottle in his hand, and I squeezed it, shattering it. I took notice of his Houndoom, who didn't take too kindly of me ruining Darren's drink. I made sure the Ice within the bottle fell into my hands.

I stood over him with a superior demeanor, looking down on him.

"Weaklings drink away their problems. Reality will hit you harder once you realize that when it's too late." I Told him before going over to Rex after grabbing a napkin.

"Get up. We have a luxurious suite. It's time for you to look out for yourself instead of everyone else." I lectured Rex before throwing the Ice and the napkin towards him, pointing at my chin, suggesting he use what I gave him to help heal the burn on his mouth.

I soon walked off to the suite, leaving the two.

Darren

Gray walked up and took the bottle from Darren, crushing it. Houndoom stood up and growled at Gray, seeing him as a threat. I'm getting really tired of people destroying my drinks... "Weaklings drink away their problems." Gray said as he stood over Darren. Weakling?! I'll show you who the weakling is." The flames around Darren's fists grew bigger. Darren slowly stood from the stool, almost falling. He thinks he's any better? That asshole's looking for a fight. Darren stumbled down the train, drunk and angry, after Gray. Houndoom followed, grumbling and unsure of his trainer's ability to fight.

Rex

Rex is starting to get used to being punched. It doesn't hurt that much, even with the fire. Gray did something nice, giving Rex the ice, but it wasn't necessary. He hauls himself to his feet, working his jaw back and forth until he feels it pop. The pain will soon fade, but he is slightly saddened by the hole in his shirt from the Leech Seed.

"Well, that happened. Sorry about the mess." He leaves the dining car, following everyone else, apparently back to their suite. He follows behind Darren, but refrains from making contact this time.

"Okay, so it was wrong for me to attack your drink. But in my defense, your pyrotechnics display was an unnecessary use of power, especially when we're trying to keep a low profile. Besides, there's no point in scaring innocent people."

Arryn
"Arryn... Im sorry... I dont know whats happening... it was so scary... I promise it shouldn't happen again... I wont lose control of my body..." Tulip follows her to the suite and Arryn keeps her face forward as she walks, attempting to calm herself.

She was going to Moonblast me, Arryn thinks, incredulous. Her 'friend'.

Tulip moves past her into one of the adjoining bedrooms to lie down so Arryn takes a seat by the window, gazing outside at the passing scenery. If I talk to her now, I will only lose my temper again. It will have to wait until we arrive in Goldenrod.

Gray exits the bedroom, shoots her a glare and leaves the suite.

Well, we're off to a good start, Arryn sighs outwardly and rests her head against the window. This train ride was lasting much longer than it needed to so she lets herself doze off.
