Daycare leveling?

Usually I leave a Pokemon in there and don't go back until after the E4, though never a Pokemon I'm actually going to use - just a random. Then I just use it for breeding, never for leveling.

I have only ever used the day care for leveling once. The first time I was in Hoenn my Combusken was level 35 and I was desperate for it to gain experience. Funny thing is, it grew to 36 and I had to evolve it at level 37. Thus my Blaziken has never learned Blaze Kick...(I wasn't going to waste a heart scale when I can breed :P )

I used to use the Daycare for leveling up my Pokemon for kicks, but I stopped using it for that method when I learned there was more to it, which is breeding.

I like to put two random Pokemon in the Daycare as soon as I'm able to access it. Then at the end of the game, I go pick them up and see what level they're on, lmao.

Well, I rarely do, but I've got a Gothorita (my friend traded me one for a Rufflet) and Deino in there at the moment. I should edit my signature, really, but I just like Deino's sprite anyway. xD

I actually do. My Gigalith and Sigilyph were trained to lv. 40 in the day care. I noticed the Gen. 5 day care seems to be quicker.

I love the Daycare! I always use it for Pokémon I either A) Don't use but want to be high leveled or B) Use for leveling up Pokémon to catch up with my team members or C) To breed with Ditto

I put my Level 7 Purrlion with them and they raised her to Level 25 and all my other Pokémon were at level 19-22 and I'd been going through the storyline, just goes to show ya' ;)

I like the daycare because it doesn't give your Pokemon any EVs. I put the Pokemon I want to EV train into the daycare overnight while taping down the down arrow and B button in the battle subway. When I wake up my Pokemon is super strong.

I did this once to train my EV'd Volcarona. It got from level 85 to 91 overnight. I'll probably end up doing this for all my EV trained B/W Pokemon.

I just put a random pokemon or 2 and leave em till i want to breed my main team(which changes alot in everygame no matter what XD) for egg moves....

I only use the Daycare for breeding purposes. Since I learned early on how the Daycare treats my Pokemon move sets, what with the random deleting, I train my Pokemon myself. The only Pokemon that gets any sort of leveling at the Daycare is the random Ditto I stick in there and forget about.

I use it for those pokemon I never train. I dunno about other people but if there is a pokemon just sitting in my PC at a low level I feel bad. My Milotic was at Lvl 7 because I rushed to evolve it (it took me forever to get a Feebas!) so I left it in the Day Care so it could grow a few levels

I don't know why you wouldn't; it's like free experience points per step! The only drawbacks are lack of EVs, the cost of retrieving the Pokemon from daycare custody, and the potential that your moveset might get screwed up.

I tend to use the daycare for Pokemon that I might use occasionally but am not focusing on them much at the moment... When I start my "actual/official" files, this will be the perfect spot for all of my Unown and Ditto post-EV training, since they only have a single move in their movesets and the fear of a screwed-up moveset is effectively nullified.

And honestly, manually training a Unown would get really boring, not to mention grueling and tiresome...the Elite 4 and Champion are already monotonous enough in their rematches! Ditto less so, because of the move Transform's unique, quirky nature.

I use it occasionally. It's usually faster to just run through the Elite 4 with an EXP Share but for a while I was training my Cherrim via daycare because I was also breeding as many Cherubi as I could. :>

Did all my BW training in grass though. Couldn't be bothered training my team high enough to take the improved E4 with a bystander and daycare is boooriiing. :P

When it comes to my main team, I usually don't use the daycare, unless I happen to toss one in for offspring (my Reuniclus for example). However, if I'm trying to complete the Pokedex, I would toss a Pokemon into the daycare sometimes, and then perhaps go to train another Pokemon for a while before coming back and seeing if it's at a high enough level to evolve soon.
