IE your role reveal and the link to Ash. If those didn't happen I see no case against you anyway.

If anything, to me this makes me worry that you're trying a double bluff.

There was a click and suddenly Light was speaking on the other end of the line.

"Yep, I got his name. No objections this time," she said, giggling.

The person investigated just recently became aligned to the justices.

So that bit of evidence would clear up the "deceptio or seth" debate, unless of course they were both converted last night.

Night Four​

​

"He is freeing us from the darkness that plights our world. Follow him into a new world order, where no more crime exists, where the only ones that have to live in fear are the ones that bring us fear now. Follow Kira. Follow him into his new world."

The policeman slapped a pair of handcuffs on the suspect's wrist.

The suspect just continued to sing Lady Gaga songs.

L turned to Light.

"What are your thoughts on this?"

Light frowned. "There's no way this guy is Kira!"

L nodded. "Yes, I have to agree with you there."

L believed that there was now a seven percent possibility that Light truly was Kira. He'd invited him to work with the task force for now, which allowed him to both keep an eye on Light while also investigating him. The cameras in the Yagami household had provided nothing to incriminate Light. Absolutely nothing.

Light appeared to be too innocent.

They hadn't given a proper interrogation to the person previously arrested, and L didn't see much of a reason why they might need to question this man. He was an ordinary citizen. He didn't know anything.

So why was he being arrested?

This whole thing was becoming a mess.​

Bacteriophage has been apprehended. He was one of the Populace.​

Day Five​

​

"Is dad not going to be home tonight?" Light asked.

"He's busy with the investigation, so he said he won't be," his mother responded from the other room. "Speaking of which, I was going to have you bring a change of clothes to him later."

"Yeah, I can do that," Light responded.

So, his father wouldn't be home. Which also meant he wouldn't be here to unintentionally guilt Light out of doing anything.

Light smirked. It was time to try it again.

He penned the name Nate Rivers into the Death Note. Death by accident.

In the city, Takeshi Ooi was leaving Yotsuba's head office. Higuchi was dead. The fool had been Kira, and an inefficient one. Now Ooi held the Death Note and was prepared to pick up Higuchi's slack.

But as he turned the corner, he instinctively clutched his hand to his chest. What?! He dropped to his knees, breathing heavily. Why? What did I do wrong?

He collapsed completely.

Outside the building, a few citizens were speaking to one another.

"He's making the world a better place! How can you not agree with that?"

"Well, I think I'm starting to see it that way."

"Wait, weren't you two saying how much you supported L and hoping that he would catch Kira soon just the other day?"

"Yeah, well, things change. Kira is doing a lot more good than the police ever have. Have you noticed how much crime has dropped around here? It's amazing!"

A woman walked by. "Fucking morons. Kira is pathetic. Maybe L should catch him."

One of the men scratched his head. "Isn't that the same woman that was going around and calling people morons for not agreeing with Kira the other day?"

One of the other two shrugged. "Guess she can't make up her mind."

In their homes, two more citizens were found dead.

One, having been so enthralled in worshiping Kira, had forgotten to eat, so she'd died of starvation.

The other had heard that L loved sweets, so in an effort to emulate the great detective, he ate so much sugar that the shock of it had caused a stroke, ending his life.

And in the dead of this already deadly night, the boy named Nate walked out of his home, an odd sensation compelling him to do so. He took a step out into the street, walking slowly, without purpose. Whether he saw the bus coming or not didn't seem to matter.

He died instantly.​

Klippy is dead. He was Just.​

Jupiter was kicked. He was a member of the Populace.​

no was kicked. She was a member of the Populace.​

Arx was kicked. He was a member of the Populace.​

The Yotsuba Group is no more.​

I'd just like to correct a mistake previously made in the Night Three post. Previously, Netto Azure's banner for being arrested incorrectly said "he was Justice". This has since been corrected, but only just now, so I'm bringing it up. Here is the correct banner, for those who don't want to look back through the thread:

Aaand it looks like some people who were talkative last day phase in support of catching Kira are now Idealts. Or rather Populace.

So I'm going to take a guess and say:

edit: After thinking for an extra half a second, is it worth arresting a converted populace instead of aiming for an actual idealist? I'll keep my vote where it is for now, but maybe we can get some good info on who Kira is.

Hmm Klippy died because the person that is Soichiro Yagami didn't do a NA or was blocked hence why he wasn't home in the narrative, but I can't figure out why the person as Kira said "**** it I'm targeting Klippy" knowing that there's a possibility that Soichiro will protect Klippy again. The only answer that could be remotely possible is that Ryuk figured out who Soichiro is and blocked him, but there's no mention of that in the narrative so it's just a theory at this point.

So with all these people who apparently switched over from being Kira supporters to being L supporters and vice-versa, maybe we can find some clues by seeing if anyone's behavior has changed since the last day phase? Not sure where that gets us, but it's a start.

The Populace is no more, that looks good, so this will be an ordinary town vs. mafia game from this point.
I agree with Ullion it might it be worth looking at Deceptio.

He saved our asses, he said we shouldn't lynch Absol and he was correct. You're the one who wanted to lynch Arayoshi Ulli so you should know this. He even tried to quit being an attorney because he thought he failed.

Funny that, Seth. When I made my first post lynching deceptio, my main thought was that both of you were recruited into the Idealist's hands during this night phase. The fact that you completely ignored that and you're going for me and you're defending Deceptio when it's likely both of you got turned? I'm going to see you're in the wrong here Seth.

You seem to think that what he has done in the past in this event is grounds to keep him safe when it's obvious some of the populace has changed sides. All you're doing with that post is making yourself more of a target to be lynched by the innos.

So if you like, I could change my vote to you? It's one more mafia down regardless. :)
