I read the first paragraph and realized that there's no way someone that young can be teaching at a school full of kids his own age. o_O

Actually, I didn't read it, just skimmed and got bored and decided to make something up to cover me skimming it...which you'll find up there...

SD Gundam is the longest running out of any series.

In the U.S. it wasn't popular, 26 of the 53 episodes were shown. But yeah, it is the single longest running Gundam. The only one that comes close is V Gundam with 50 episodes.
 
Was that the gundam that aired on [as] long ago? I know there was one, but it was a long time before I had cartoon network, so I never got to see any of it.

[as] is stupid, they'd make a killing running Rurouni Kenshin and Gundam SEED instead of some of the shows they rerun at night on weekdays. If they care little enough about their anime ratings to run Gigantor, they'd might as well make up to us for openly hating anime fans with this...

Cartoon Network in general lost the rights to air Kenshin at the start of the year. Gigantor still gets pretty good ratings and is pretty popular with the people that like the older stuff. It was a ground breaking show for it's time.

As for V Gundam...it never aired on [as], 0080, 0083, and MSG are the only ones that aired on it.
