What was your opinion on it? Did you finish it quickly or take your time? What would you have liked to see changed about it?

Delta episode hooked me quite well because it was something very different from the previous installments of pokemon games. I did feel a bit disappointed in the climax of the episode where you battle against zinnia since all I did was spam dragon pulse and dragon ascent with mega rayquaza. Instead, I would have preferred Zinnia to be using the rayquaza against you in the battle.

I thought that the Delta Episode was pretty good. I often like the lore in games and the Delta Episode was mostly lore expansion. It was nice that there was an additional story after the main one, which is usually not done in the Pokemon games. It also had some really nice music in it like:

    Spoiler:

And I like how the Sky Pillar got that cool music from that one scene in Emerald. And the scene where you fly into space on Rayquaza and destroy the asteroid was fucking cool imo.

I just wish that the Delta Episode was a little longer. I would say something about how it threw in the whole "ooooo multiple parallel universes" thing but that's not ORAS's fault but rather Game Freak's for being incredibly shortsighted in their writing in X/Y.

Instead, I would have preferred Zinnia to be using the rayquaza against you in the battle.
How would the player get Rayquaza then? I doubt that she'd just give it up to you.

I like that it added story to the game, but having to back and forth everywhere on Latios for individual little pieces of storyline got tiring. I also was not a huge fan of having to battle both Rayquaza and Deoxys back-to-back; I wish Deoxys just descended on the space center and you ended up in a rocket or something, which it then causes to launch before battle. I had to give up on trying to catch it because I had caught Rayquaza in a Poké Ball and didn't want to lose that.

I liked how it gave you a new quest after your main adventure, but for me it was over so quickly and I ended up catching both Rayquaza and Deoxys, but then again I had a Master Ball still around when I came across the latter. It was annoying you had to be forced to catch Rayquaza, but the scene where you ride on it into space has to be epic for sure.

Funnily enough, she technically did that in the delta episode after feeding rayquaza with the meteorite and then inviting the player to catch it instead. I sort of expected her to use rayquaza against the player in the same way N in BW2 had used Reshiram/Zekrom to test your character's worth.

Rayquaza is a solo third legendary. Reshiram and Zekrom are the main two, with Kyurem being the third. So that wouldn't work.

While most of it was just going to different places, it got really deep at the Sky Pillar, and it felt so nostalgic hearing the track from Emerald. But then on top where Zinnia has that talk before you take on Rayquaza... It's just really sad stuff. But then, after you defeat Deoxys, that montage of scenes that play after they find out that the meteoroid was no more, it was so sweet.

And those last few scenes, where you and Brendan/May go to the Space Center together, that was just...wow. I would honestly call it the most heartwarming scene in any main series game. I absolutely melted watching that. (':

Then maybe they should have the player battle against Zinnia first before catching Rayquaza. I felt that her battle in particular was quite a let down since mega rayquaza was in the team. BTW, Kyurem was indirectly controlled by Ghetsis in BW2, although you fight against it one on one before directly confronting him, but it still obeyed his commands in trying to kill the player and it cannot be caught during its first battle, which is why I view it as a 7th member of his team. So I'm not sure why Solo third legendaries are excluded from being used by important characters.

I really liked that they gave us more to do post-game. It was definitely different to all the games before which made it exciting.

There was too much running back and forth, but overall I really enjoyed it!

I don't have much of an opinion on it really. Pokemon has done "lore" with Dragon-types to death in the past already.
