1) Burmy
4) Either Masquerain (because it's a bug) or Gorebyss (because Clamperl has a split evolution a la Wurmple)
5) Castform
7) Swoobat ?
8) Slaking

Not sure about 2), 3) and 6) though ...

Maybe 2) is Mudbray?

3. I can't help but see Zacian when I see Sword-swinging. Kind doubt it is though tbh, but I'll take a stab at it anyway.
4. Finneon or Lumineon? I feel like one of them had it in a dex entry, but I can't remember which lol
5. Maybe Cherrim ? It has 2 forms that depend on it being sunny or not, which I can see as mood swings.
6. Bruxish? there are quite a few goofy fishes though.

I have absolutely no idea about the second one lol

3. You are correct! With its long braids, eyelash-like fur, and lighter colours and frame than Zamazenta, Zacian always struck me as feminine, and a Valkyrie is the first motif that comes to mind when I look at its design with that in mind.
4. Finneon indeed! It does have that in its dex entry.
5. Correct! Cherrim's forms have quite different dispositions, turning hyper and happy-go-lucky in the sun.
6. Nope! Not tacky, sappy - sappy as in cheesy, overly romantic.

As for 2., here's another question with the same logic (a Pokémon's cry) that's hopefully easier:

"Delelelelele whoop!"

The answer to 2. is from the same generation!

In New Snap you can even find kissing luvdisc >.>

Kricketot or Kricketune ? Pretty sure i've seen youtubers make that noise for Kricketune on several occassions.

Still contemplating the previous one, but it's late for me =p

Yes! I wondered why it took folks so long to guess, maybe I used unusual language? Can't get sappier than good old Luvdisc.
