Wow, that was a lot to say while I was away... That rhymed! Anyway, I do believe that video is a total fake, and the Pokedex and Sinnoh map just seem to be guides. But thank you all for the contributions!
 
That video is a fake, and an easy reason.. that picutre ('spirte') has much more then 16/24 (what's the amount for a sprite) colors..
 
I used a program called "Pokemon Rom changer", it has a bunch of japanese rom editing programs in it, so i got abit done.

No, SinnohMap is fake! I tried it and it worked! They aren't hacking programs.
 
Hm, so from what I see now, there are supposedly several tools under construction. Guess only time will tell.

And earlier an offset for the intro scene text was mentioned. I can't seem to find that actually. I'm using XVI32 with a US Pearl. Any help?
 
Gabe K, I would recommend deleting that link before a Mod notices it. It is against the rules...

Spongefreak, I mentioned it and I'll say that you will need TLP (Tile layer Pro) and put the offsets in there. XVI isn't a graphics editor, it is a Hex program...

This site has been down for ages. That is where everyones been. We were all hanging out at the Diamondandpearlhacking forums LOL.
 
I find it cool you can hack these games; but there really isn't any need.
 
Yeah well, we can start making remakes of things like Pokemon Ruby, just like right now we can remake Pokemon Gold.
 
The ds remakes of gold and silver were confirmed to be fake on serebii forums (i can't post links, so just search for it on their forums) but seeing as they are fake, it gives us even more reason to develop d/p hacking so we can remake those two awesome games! Sorry but i'm a bit behind on d/p hacking- has a map editor been released yet?
