I never said it was exactly 64,000 steps NORTH of Shinou, where, I am guessing, by Serebii's new PokEarth, is Almia supposed to be. Anyway, it is exactly what Zeikku said, they are textures and they were not used in the game. Oddly, I saw a WILD Weavile and it was... ahem, different. It had a DIFFERENT Sprite, so I'm guessing that was the beta map. The changes are minimal, though.

Yep, I tried to change trainer's pokes and it works! I changed Lass on Route 202.

I changed my trainer to look like a hippy. ^_^

ive been searching through the rom getting the texture files and was wondering do the textures affect the map other than the animations like the ocean? or the character sprites

Maybe you need to recompile it. The one that I downloaded from loadingNOW's site did not work for me. I fixed some things and recomplied and it ran fine.

hello people, I'm new here and i was a gba hacker until i found u can do alot of things with d\p. i made a diamond hack and posted it on youtube.i used hex and a bunch of other tools like poketex. so i wanted to know, is there a way to hack text right now(and not the editor which was removed from it's site!)?

Diamond JPN, USA, ITA, GRM, FRN, and which edition. Actually, I can't remember where exactly did I start. Either way, you can get the tilesets once we can.

There's a reason this is called the DPP Hacking thread. Since you've previously shown you how good you are at figuring this sort of thing out, I'll let you figure out why. Hint: HACKING

i have a theory... when i hack ps2 savestates in hex i have to "uncompress" it by changing the extra extension to .gz and then... well.. uncompressing it making the file bigger and hex-able... so why dont you change you rom name to

pokemondiamon.nds.gz and decompress it with 7zzip... this is just a thought and blah if it doesnt work
