You have to get the 3rd badge in Veilstone and 4th badge in Pastoria from Maylene and Crasher Wake respectively.

First, you should beat the seventh gym. Then, go to the Veilstone Galactic building and there should be a grunt standing outside by the sattelite that is to the right. Talk to him, and he will talk to you then run away. He will drop an item. Pick it up. It's the key :>

Yea, just found that out :> Im going to Pastoria now, to completely own Wake with my lvl 35 and probly up lanturn, well, i just beat the trainer beneath Veilstone, and my Lanturn has Shock Wave.. :) Wake = dead!! :)

ok, thanks, but i found out and have beat Maylene, but thanks :) also, where do I get the Key for the galactic building?

You obtain it later in the game, once you get to the 7th Gym.

IS this True

I got this from Cheat Code Central

Microphone cures
You can say certain things into the microphone to cure your Pokemon of various statuses. You can cure Sleep by saying "Wake up!" a few times and Confusion by saying "Snap!".

Because i cna't really see this working but who knows.

None of the Pokemon games, at current, have voice commands or anything of the sort, other than for like... talking over WiFi, or something. This looks like one of those horrible little rumours people come across when trying to find some information on a certain part of the game, such as where a particular Pokemon can be caught and the like.

The likely reason it says "a few times" is because after a few turns, the Pokemon would wake up or snap out of confusion by itself and with Sleep, it usually snaps out of its lazy moment after one turn on snoozing. Actually, its the same with confusion, too. There is no legitimate way to test if it works, because sometimes the Pokemon with wake up/snap out of confusion almost instantly, while others, it'll take absolutely AGES to get rid of the ailments. Frozen Pokemon are much the same. If you have a frozen Pokemon, it either thaws out instantly, or stays frozen for ages.

So in conclusion, no; sounds like a nasty rumour to sucker people with and is very likely as such. You also 'double the chances of catching a Pokemon by saying "Gotcha!" into the microphone', apparently. Naturally, that is a nasty little rumour, as well.

How do you get to the 8th gym leader?

Anyone knows how to move the gears so I can get to the 8th gym leader? No matter what I do I can not get to him. I need specifics please.
Thanks,

Okay, first off I do not have the Sinnoh Pokedex completed yet. I really want a Yanma, but only Yanmega is in the Sinnoh Pokedex. Would someone be able to trade me a Yanma over the GTS, even if I do not yet have the National Pokedex? I'm not asking for the trade here, I'm only asking if this would be possible.

You wouldn't be able to do it over the GTS, because you need to have found the Pokemon to search for it and ask for it in the GTS. BUT... you can trade a Yanma to your non-National Dex game from a game that has a Yanma on it through the WiFi Trade Center in the basement of (almost) all Pokemon Centers, as well as via local trades, as well.

It wouldn't be able to register it, actually, Yanmega isn't in the Sinnoh dex, the 150 pokemon in the Sinnoh dex do not include the new evolutions.

I actually think it background-registers the Pokemon. You can't see it, but once you obtain the National Dex, it should appear.

Alright, I've got a question I've had a while. You do need to defeat the Elite Four before trading for a Pokemon who's not in the National Dex, right?

Basically, I'm wondering how possible it would be to trade for something like a Teddiursa when I'm only at about the third badge in my game. Would I have to just wait and use the swarms post-Elite Four?

Yep. You can trade any Pokemon over from another Diamond or Pearl (or Platinum) and you could still use it. However, if they're not in the Sinnoh Dex, their Pokedex entries won't show up until after you get the National Dex.

No, you can get pokes before the national dex. You just have to do a direct trade with someone. I did it.

Awesome. And I can do this over Wi-Fi, right? (I'm actually new with Wi-Fi and all that also, so..) How would I go about finding someone to trade? Just a random person, or would I need a Friend Code?

Or does it have to be a local trade with someone right next to me?
