    All 3 options was like.........WTF.
Took me 10 minutes to come up with my own nickname....../pain.
    I totally didn't expect this.

Hahahah, nah I totally paused for a couple of seconds, and went "wow, this is new..". Was not expecting that from a Pokemon game.

Though, my nickname IRL is "Sho", as is my IGN, so I had them call me "Shota", and then proceeded to laugh every time they said it. Which.. I'm not expecting everyone to get the joke, but omg. I'm so mature. >_>

I just put in Anthony (my name) again. I hate nicknames.

My nick was suposed to be Space Cowboy....

I spelled COYboy... didn't realize the typo until post Elite Four.

I admit that I was bit surprised that I had to come up with a nickname for my character. It was the first time that a main series Pokemon game has done that. I used "Mando" as my character's nickname in X. By the way, the nickname I used in X, I have used for naming my character in other Pokemon games since "Mandolore" would not fit.

My in-game nickname was "Nichy" because well, it's short for Nichole which is my real name plus some people here at PC have called me that occasionally. It'd be fitting as a tribute to those who called me Nichy.

Yeah, I was a bit caught off guard by the whole nickname thing. It's a nice little idea, just totally unexpected.

And I'm not the greatest at coming up with names for stuff. I can never stick with one it seem. Though I'm not as bad as Ashley and Minvera. Maybe my current one will be one I stick with for a long time? IDK, its tempting to change. We'll see what happens. So when they asked for a nickname, I was like "dammit, I gotta think up something else now?" (because the 3 default nicknames are crap).

The name I went with is Stella, and so after sitting there for about 5~10 minutes, I was like "screw it, I'm slapping -chan on the end of my name so I can start playing the game". So now they call me Stella-chan. It's not bad at all.

I suppose it was a little unexpected. Because most people wouldn't use their real names anyway when playing the game and just use a nickname/internet name/character name from what I know. But I have two nicknames of my username: Ary and Lett. The former I dislike to all hell, so I went with the latter. I was just Lett for the whole game and it was awesome 'cause I felt like I was on Skype again. :3

Took me a while, but eventually I just chose my name. Although, Lil S does sound cool.. haha!

    I get it ;)

I paused the game for a while to think of this, actually. x3 I was definitely thrown off guard. I couldn't think of something cool so I just had them call me Lu-chan (my ingame name is Lucy, which isn't my real name).

Haha no, not really. I came up with the nickname Lil Rico in like 5 seconds. It was the first thing that came to my head, it wasn't inappropriate, so I just submitted it.

The names they suggested were Go and GooG O.o
Since my name is GoGo, I just put GooG el

Nah, because I had been watching Let's Plays. xD Though I'm sure I would've if I hadn't been. Mine was simple; "Lav".

I certainly was. I almost typed my name in again, because I thought it could just be an extra feature to add realism to the conversation in asking for the player's name. I was right, but not entirely. No reason not to like having a nickname, honestly. Didn't have any impact on the actual games, just a cool little add-on.

I never keep nicknames because I forgot the pokemon names once I kept for tepig and I forgot it's real name I had to restart the game

Aww I didn't mind the nicknames they picked lol but I just ended up using the one I have in real life :) To be honest if I didn't already have one I'd probably have been completely stumped when it came to picking one in-game :)
