Did being a Supporter live up to your expectations?

    When you became a Supporter, what did you think of all the added perks and stuff? Were you absolutely satisfied with your new rank on the forums, or were you somewhat underwhelmed? Or maybe it's better than you imagined in the first place? Fire away.
     
    I wasn't really expecting anything. I was just expecting reduction of site lag in the future and still am, although it's not bad. The only thing I was looking forward too was being blue, I already had a feeling the VIP was going to be one that wasn't overly active.
     
    I was still a newbie when I donated. I just saw the huge PayPal logo and I was just curious. So, I went ahead and sent in my payment. Moments later I literally freaked that my name was in italic blue, and was given a blog. The added perks, however, were pretty awesome, since they're considered "rewards" to people that donate.
     
    Considering there were no perks outside of a lovely purple italicized name when I first donated, I'd say it's lived up to and beyond my expectations.

    Still, I've never really donated to get more perks, was already a tier 5 when they introduced tiers and after I donated again and a third time they voluntarily bumped me up to t6, which I am fairly certain I was the first they did that to. I'm thankful, and still have to say that I only donate to help the forums, not for the perks.
     
    Nope. I expected a membership card to be sent to me in the mail... Other than that then yeah. I didn't really have any expectations... I only donated because I was bored.
     
    I donated for the email address, which I don't even use. :|
     
    I didn't expect anything because none of my supporter status came from myself. :(

    However, the perks I didn't expect I would enjoy was the avatar size and profile images and minor things like that. I've wanted to donate myself (and I will when I get the chance!) but I wanted to donate for the silly things like blogging ability and the e-mail, both of which I hardly use/don't use at all.
     
    it didn't. my name color is same , still 60 seconds per pm limit.
     
    While I didn't donate for any of my supporter status, I did have some expectations, and while the perks didn't meet what I had in mind, it's definitely nice to have a larger avatar, profile images and a Blog, although I've adjusted to using them so much that I hardly see them as "special privileges" anymore.
     
    Since like others, someone donated for me, I kinda wasn't expecting anything. tbh at the time I knew nothing in regards to supporter benefits and I thought that when I got access to the VIP forum, style testing forum etc and all these new perks that it was as big as getting modded lool which was a terrible assumption :x
     
    Since I won my supporter status during an event, I did have expectations.

    I like having the neat supporter features like larger avatars/profile pics, access to the VIP and Styles Testing forums and a blog.

    Plus, I now feel popular with my new blue italics.
     
    I expected this VIP Forum to be more active at all.
    Apart from that everything is as stated.

    I was thinking the same thing.... barely anyone goes on the VIP forum.
    But i enjoy all of the other benefits of being a supporter! ^_^
     
    I donated for the incredible purple name, which got changed literally a couple of weeks after I donated which left me in hysterics.

    Ya know.. this area is here for all you supporters to use.. I find hardly any new threads started and barely any discussions.. you can and should start threads.. make use of this premium area - its just for you!

    The section will reflect what efforts you put in to it.

    Haha your right, as supporters i think we should be more active in our own forum instead of just waiting for another small topic to pop up ^_^
    I could try and get it active again, its just 1 step at a time!
