So, I was really bored and my friends wanted some excitement. So I thought a prank phone call would be good. After remembering my friend telling me about the infamous N64 prank call, I decided that I want to top that.

Me: Hello, customer support?

Them: Machine operated taping leading to me getting to them (at least that's what I ran into).

Bill: Hello, this is bill. I will be helping you with your problem today.

Me: Thanks. I recently purchased a Nintendo Entertainment System, and it only came with one game. Don't get me wrong because it's very good, but I want more games and all of the game stores are telling me that I'm crazy and that they don't sell them anymore. Can you help?

Bill: Well sir, we discontinued that console 15 years ago.

Me: WHAT? Your kidding me! No way. I know what I'm buying here. Let me talk to your manager!

Bill: Sir calm down please.

Me: No you calm down, I know what I'm talking about! I bought this on the black market!

We than rambeled on for about 10 minutes in one of the funniest conversations I have ever been apart of (there too much to write and some of it isn't very good to post). After that he really started to make me mad a bit and I hung up in frustration.

well me and my sister and her friend had prank called my sister's Bf's brother. we first said "Helloooooooooo" in some weird way so he wouldn't recognize us. they said very innapropriate things (not mentioning them here XD) and then after my sister's friend said "Will you marry me please? you gotta love me after all those words, marry me, NOW!" and then I took the phone and pretended to be the mafia saying "marry her and you'll live, you dont and we take your body, tie it, then toss it in the meat grinder. So marry her, NOW! Get ur ass from toronto and get over here!" and then my sister was making this really weird squealing laughing sound and then we hung up. XD

Never made a prank phone call. However, sometimes when the telemarketer calls I answer it and say stupid stuff to them.

This isn't really a prank call, but it was still pretty amusing.

My friends and I have this Asian restaurant we order lunch from sometimes. The owners' kids go to our school and we're kinda friends with them, and we order so much that the owners know who we are on the caller ID. :P So, this one day, my friend Iman had to borrow my friend Jeremy's phone to order. When some random guy who works there answered, she said "Hi, this is Jeremy..." which led to the guy on the phone laughing and saying he "doesn't know many girls named Jeremy." Iman kept playing along with it. Then we sent the real Jeremy out to get the food from the guy. He seriously didn't know what the hell was going on. xD

Well, I've done a few. Mainly I will say something like: "Hello, this is United Iron. We are calling today to remind you that your shipment of 1000 units of manhole covers will arrive by tomorrow morning."

Or I when they would pick up I would say "Hello?" they would say: "Who is this?" I would say: "What is your name?" and the conversation would continue like that until neither of us could remember who had actually called who in the first place.

I've been part prank-called before, and the stupid person hung up before I answered! I love listening to prank calls because the person pranking you always acts like an idot XD.

Whenever a salesperson or someone reading from a Teleprompter rings up I always try and get them to go off subject.
I ask them how there day was, if they've got anything planned for the weekend or just any of the other stuff that you'd normally hear from your hairdresser.

It's quite funny, one time there was a guy ringing up to say I'd won two free tickets for a holiday and I asked him if he would like to come with me; His reply was that he would call me back. xD

I've been apart of a few, but none of them went for more than a few mere minutes.

I remember one time when I rang up a good friend and told him I was from the bank and that we would be wanting his overdue payment of $3,000 within a few days or we would be calling his electricity company and water company and telling them to shut off his electricity and water.

He just hung up after that. :<

Well, you either made that poor call center dudes day or ruined it. He could get in big trouble if you actually did get him riled up. Call centers will fire an employee over anything. So, if you think about doing stuff like that...just sort of know when to stop.

I've never done any prank calls before. Although, I had planned one that was to star one of my friends. This was the script I came up with:

*Meli (our friend) had another friend who was looking for a guy to date. We decided to try that and leave a permanent impression as well*

Meli: Hey gal, there' this guy who wants to be your boyfriend *blablabla*

We were about to pass it to Amado when suddenly he didn't want to do it. So I did it.

Me: Hey

Her: Hi

Me: So I herd you want a boyfriend? *chuckle*

Her: Huh?

Everyone started chuckling

The conversation kept going.

Her: Wow! YOu'r so awesome

All of a sudden, everyone started laughing.

Me: ermm..

Her: Huh?

Me: hey... *SSHH* *crck* *kkkkk* (pretends to be cut off.)

The reason everyone chuckled? Oh simple. Because the supposed last line was:

"Oh also, I left my underwear at your house--"

Nope, can't say that I've ever prank called anyone, but seeing as how it's slightly illegal where I'm at....
I think the closest I've ever come to prank calling was actually with a telemarketer.

me: not quite, but could I interest you in a mail order lingerie catalog?
them: err, do I have the right number? you are a residential number, correct?
me: yeah,this is residential, but I do telemarketing myself. I figured I'd try it on you anyway.

Whenever I get a prank call I say "This is the emergency response team of Arlington, Texas, who the hell is this?" in a deep voice. Or "This is the prinicipal of x school who is this?" (If I know who it is.)

I have prank called my friend Jacob on his cell.

"This is a call to remind you of your five o' clock appointment."
"What five o' clock appointment?"
"The one with... Mr. Death, he says your on his list, so....
"What the crap?"
"I don't choose these things sir, the devil does."
"Well tell him that I don't die yet."
"Mr. Devil dosen't like company..."
"Stupid Devil"
"Perhaps I can reschedule your appointment to 4:05" (It was four)

And then at 4:05 he pretended to die and I hung up xD
