Is there any particular member, friend or stranger that you admire? What is it about them that you look up to? Is it their attitude toward others? Their outlook on life? Or their funny quirks? Feel free to be as concise or detailed as you like!

Personally, I have quite a list of people on here that I admire. Many for the way they carry themselves, they way they present their opinions and arguments, their humour, their caring nature, while I respect others for their humour and their down-to-earth persona.

    What about you?

People who I admire are those who have an ability which at the very least, rivals my own. I admire them even more so if they can prove it, I'll get onto that in a bit though.

So I appreciate and admire people like Toujours and Lightning who are logically minded. I also admire Mr Cat Dog and his amazing piano skills which I can only wish to achieve one day. Kura is also good at piano but I haven't actually heard her play so I don't admire her skills as much as Mr Cat Dog. Bobandbill has elite karate skills but he hasn't actually proved that to me so while it is certainly impressive in theory, without practical evidence my admiration only goes so far.

I admire a lot of people at the community. As a newbie, it's hard not to like everyone who welcomes you. Tbh, I look up mostly to the Mods and SMods and Supporters and whatevs 'cause they basically manage PC. Not just them, even the regular members. They're all awesome.

A lot of people, too many to name really xD Most of them are the staff, I admire them for their maturity, level headedness and ability to keep the forum nice and orderly.

I think I admire Ausaudriel and Lightning the most. I admire all of my friends; that's the reason that we're friends, after all, but those two in particular are people I've always admired from a distance and for reasons I can't really find the words to rationalize.

I'm new here, so I can't say whom, but I admire an entire community that has been surviving for as long as this one has. Obviously, you guys are doing something right, and I obviously look up to that. Keep up the good work! :)

I don't really admire anyone anywhere that much. Everyone's incredibly nice personality here kind of makes me cringe. EVERYBODY'S TOO NICE IT'S JUST WEIRD.

I really admire DrFuji's broness. Like, he gets angry at nothing and is just so awesome. Scarf is pretty cool as well, she's great at pixel art and seems really intelligent and not biased or whatever. Just a really good debater and stuff. In terms of ROM Hacking, where I'm most active, it's gonna have to be Jambo51 and DavidJCobb. Those guys are so damn smart at what they do :3

I wouldn't say I admire people as a whole, but I do admire certain traits of certain people. There are some people I admire their ability to stay neutral and calm in the face of something that I wouldn't have the strength to calmly address, and things such as that.

No, honestly. Don't get me wrong, I love some people here, but I like them because of their character, not their accomplishments. Does that make any sense?

I think I admire people here less every day honestly. It's not that I don't like people or I think people are bad or whatever - it's just that the more time I spend here, the more I realise that most of the things I'd have previously admired people for like having staff positions or being a good poster or whatever isn't really something that I admire, as such. It's cool if you are a good poster or a staff member, sure, but yeah... nah. "Admire" isn't the word I'd use there.

I do admire some people on here for things they've done in their offline lives, I guess, but right now I don't feel like thinking of any specific examples.

Uh... No, not really; You're in no way restricted to a list of a persons accomplishments when it comes to what you can admire about them.

For me, there used to be a few members on here that I'd look up to as if they were quite literally an older brother or sister; I'd admire their work, demeanor, ethics etc and would aspire to be more like them in as many aspects as I could.

They were a constant source of inspiration and drive for me, and as a result that was probably the most productive period of my life to date.

I was severed from this place for a significant amount of time, however, and lost contact with most of these people. I haven't really looked at anyone else in the same light since then, at least not to the same extent.

These days the only two people that I feel really affect me in a similar way would be Dannii and Audy. Both provide me with a significant boost whenever I get the chance to listen to what they have to say/talk to them/bask in their glow.

See: Kura & Razor Leafs post.

I don't "admire" anyone on PC for the feats they have done on PC, I admire people for what they've done in their offline lives.
I would certainly say I have respect for certain members for the way in which they hold themselves and the way they post, but I don't so much admire them as much as I enjoy reading what they have to say, agree with the way they treat other members, but I don't admire them.

Admire is too strong a word. There are a few people who I have a great deal of respect for, though.

There have been quite a few people I've admired when I first met them, but that's always how it begins. You only see the good in a person the first few times you meet them because they put their best foot forward... but once you begin to know a person and begin to see the light and shade, you begin to see that they aren't so different from you and not really worth admiring.

That sounds mean but I don't mean it that way. I just mean that you find out that nobody is as perfect as they first seem and everybody has flaws, so it's weird to admire somebody just because they are strong in ways that you aren't, when they are also weak in ways that you aren't. I don't think I'm making sense, but that's the way I feel about this topic :P

You need not admire someone as a whole however. You can admire certain aspects but not admire them as a whole. That being said I know where you are coming from.
