Do you hug your IRL friends?

Sometimes, not all the time. Like if we're really happy about something, or haven't seen each other in a while. But yeah, we have no problem or anything with hugging each other.
 
I hug my close friends and boyfriend on a regular basis.
But I don't really hug someone if they're not a good friend.
 
I did that when I was in marching band... That's it.

Well aside from before I was dating my ex. We were best friends and we always hugged each other. It's apparent to me now that we were doing it just to be close to each other. XD

Yes, I do hug my IRL friends that are girls, not the boys. ;P
 
N-not often. ;_; Collectively, my friends aren't really huggy people, so there are a few will even carry out "Free hug" day but most others... it just seems taboo. I used to have all really huggy friends that were awesome-sauce-who-cares-about-personal-space people (without it being uncomfortable XD) but alas, keeping in contact with them has dulled as we've gotten older. ;;;;;;;;;;;;;; *sob*
 
I hug my friends :3 Its a nice way to say hello or help somebody when he/she is sad.
 
I hug my friends, the one that are girls though lol, I get a hug like every week at least once or twice. XP

No I don't give hugs since I find it likely my friends might find it uncomfortable for me to hug them.

But one of my friends always hugs me when he's happy or when we get excited about something and I don't really mind.
 
I always hug my real life friends.
Sometimes for no reason, they don't mind at all ^^
But I don't go around hugging everybody.

This is one of the many "I have nothing to say but I'm gonna make a thread about anything I can possibly think of" threads.

Anyway. I hug my female friends, or rather, they hug me. Don't really hug my guy friends though, that's kinda homo-erotic. We just give each other nice friendly pats on the ass.

Yep. Pretty much only one or two of my friends, though.
 
Erm. Friends? Not really. My classmates and I are at the stage where if you hug someone, there's someone else watching and then they make some sort of immature comment.

My cousin, though, my best friend ever, is an exception. She gets a hug just because I can hug her. =3

But huggin is different. Thats becuase it is easier to do than huggingfor some people, and other's harder.

I take it all of you have hugged at least one person (tick tock tick tock) ...your parents?

Lolz, well, the point of this thread is, what is your few on hugs, like is it better then a kiss, or vise versa, and whom to you is hugging taboo with? And other stuff that falls in this line.

And one last thing... what do you think about guys hugging guys? *coughfreehugsguyatmyschoolisfreakingmeoutcough*

Hugs are magical. <3 I love hugging people, so long as they're comfortable with me hugging them. XD; You can hug someone for ages, because unlike with kissing, you can still breathe. :3

And there's nothing wrong with guys hugging guys. o:
 
I feel awkward when people hug me, and I don't hug other people. It's probably a culture thing. I feel like my personal space is being violated when someone hugs me, and I feel like I'm violating theirs if I try to hug them.

I disagreed with the mods on that one. Why is sex such a taboo in society? I just don't get it. It's fine to see people slaughter each other in movies and games in the most gruesome ways possible, but throw in the slightest bit of nudity and Fox News has some dumb jerk calling your game a porno simulator that's destroying the fragile minds of our nation's children (for the record, I didn't like Mass Effect anyway). :/ I'm not saying violence should be tabooed, I'm just saying that it's absurd that it isn't and sex is (since we all know it's better to stab someone than to have sex with them, right?).

Hugs are the best thing you could ever invent! I love them... but I don't hug many people at school because they would probably think I'm a bit weird...

I don't think there really is anything wrong with guys hugging guys but that's just my opinion...
