6th Gen Do you think Volcanion will be distributed to OR/AS?

So, as everybody might remember, we got this video just a few months ago.



But with the announcement of a new game coming out later this year, and still no news on a Volcanion distribution, do you think we'll even get Volcanion in OR/AS?

With 7th Generation all but confirmed (which I know is the case due to Sun & Moon's Japanese logos using a new style again, which tends to change with every new generation) I still hope we get a Volcanion event announced so that 6th Gen can end on a good note, because it would not be right to have it miss out on an event in its debut generation (and we know every mythical Pokemon tends to have an event during their first generation at some point) and if we were to not get a Volcanion event in 6th Gen, it would be the first case to do so.

I'd say we'll definitely see some way to get Volcanion in our Gen 6 games! It's already in the game data and it's been proven there are events within the games associated with it. It would be a real shame if it became like Spear Pillar Arceus, never to see an event.

Oh wow, I've never seen that! Kind of a small event, but hey, it's something. I worry too though that it'll go the way of Spear Pillar Arceus, I think that example shows that they don't always go through with the things they planned, even if they have an entire event coded for it in the game.

I would guess that Volcanion is released for Gen 6 games with events in Sun and Moon that are activated by transferring it, perhaps unlocking a new form or even the ability to catch Magearna the same way that transferring the Crown Beasts did in B/W for Zoroark.

If memory serves correct, Genesect was released right at the end of Gen 5 I believe, well after X/Y was announced.

My guess is Japan will get Volcanion this summer, and the rest of the world in the fall/winter right before Sun/Moon.

i think it will. we already know that every legendary that appeared on pokemon movies will always be distributed through in-life events giveaway. since we will get the pokemon moon and sun at the end of the year, yet pokemon movie volcanion will be premiering on summer, you can still get the volcanion in ORAS.

It's more than likely Volcanion will be distributed. In Japan. Once the movie is out there. We may not get the distribution until later that year, around release maybe.

Seeing as it's in the data of the games going far back as X and Y, I have no doubt that there'll be a distribution in ORAS by the time Sun and Moon, what I believe to be Gen 7, come out. In correspondence with the Volcanion movie in Japan, as I think has been tradition there for a long while, the distribution will begin alongside the movie's release, and possibly the same for the US whenever the movie comes out here.
