Ok... you guys know who Dawn is right? (well if you dont you must be living under a rock :\) Well... sooner or later shes gonna have to leave :\ Just look at May... She was only in the anime for about 4 seasons... its just about the 3rd season of diamond and pearl... and alot of rumours are going on saying after DP it will be another Battle frontier in Johto! So after that the writers may make her leave :(
Heres another thing to look at, maybe another character can join the group instead of making Dawn leave! Make a Trio and Foursom!

Do you want her to leave?

Or do you want the female Hero from the next gen or take her place?

Personaly i dont want the writers to scrap another great female character...

I was devastated when misty left :( I want her back
she could cause the person who plays jessie was the voice of misty
anyway no I don't cause she has lots of cool pokemon and well she ain't a sissy :/
may I only liked for her beautifly lol

That'd be ridiculous if Dawn will leave.
Not only they use the same routine for every single episode since the middle of Johto, now they'd start doing the same thing in every season?

By the way, I'm not thinking that way just because I'm 16.
I got to take care of a group of first graders yesterday.
I wanted to show off my on-mobile GBC Emulator...so I asked if they like Pokemon.
Most of them replied they liked it for a year at kindergarden.
I remember my "generation" liked Pokemon even up to 10-12 years old. And I mean, the majority of the people who previously did like Pokemon, continued up to 10-12 YO. Quite awkward, and I blame the boring routines in the Anime.

Oh and, did you notice that...Ash & Pikachu had a soul long ago?
Pikachu got mad about things, Ash was an impatient chump etc. Now it's just "everyone out there is nice, and I should help everyone, and Pikachu will say "Pika-Pika" and I'll say "that's right, Pikachu!" as if I'm a character of Star-Wars".

    Just look at May...
    Don't forget about Misty ;).

Yes. I want Dawn to leave.

    3 reasons:

    1. I don't like her (character, style, clothes).
    2. Her Piplup annoys me so much.
    3. I want Misty to come back, because she is 100% better.

To tell the truth, I want Dawn to leave. Sometimes she annoys me very much. I hope next girl won't be a coordinator (sorry, but these contests are boring for me. Not always, but most of the time.). I don't hate her, but I'm not her fan either.

It doesn't matter if I want her to stay or leave because she'll eventually leave regardless. There's no point in getting attached to a character that'll eventually leave and complain about it later.

I want Dawn and, sadly Brock to leave as well.

Dawn - Ever since I saw my first episode of DP, I immidiatly felt a hatred for the girl. People say she has great characterisation, but I don't think she has. If anything, I do think some of the stereotype that she is actually an even more annoying Ash. Except, Ash was brilliant in his first series. I don't think shes a popular character with 3-4 years to show her stuff, I hope the writers pack it in with her and give her some 'cameo' roles in the future.

Brock - Loved him from the beggining, especially through the Hoenn series which showed all of his qualities. But DP, he's gone very dry and has nothing coming from him at all. He should finally let Ash go (again..). I want to see him leave with the credibility he still has left and go back to Pewter City or somewhere to open up a Breeding center or something.

But, if I had the choice. Dawn to leave.

I never got attached to her. I miss Misty & May but I wont miss Dawn when she finally goes. He Pokemon were always boring and still are except for the rivalry between Piplup and Cyndaquil. Can't wait til we get a new girl.

I didn't care when Misty left, I cared a bit when Brock did his vanishing act, I was really sad when Tracey vanished from the radar (best sidekick ever imho), I still miss May now, and I don't give two hoots about Dawn. I'm really hoping Kotone will be the new female sidekick, but that's the more sadistic side of me who wants to then shove it in the face of all of the people who hate Kotone for the pure reason that she isn't Crystal. (Sort of reminds me of the Misty fans who hated on May because she wasn't Misty, or the Rose fans in Doctor Who who hated Martha because she wasn't God Rose.)

Sooo anyway crawling back on topic; I do want Dawn to leave, and I won't really care when she's gone. She hardly adds anything to the episodes she's in anyway aside from getting her hair all stuck up and having an annoying Piplup, so I doubt I'll notice the difference.

    unless it's kotone. ilu kotone

I don't mind Dawn. She doesn't bother me very much at all, but if she continues to to stay on the show forever and ever than I will eventually tire of her. She has a decently-established personality and didn't take a 180-degree turn in disposition halfway through the series (like some other redheaded attention-seeking guy magnets and whiny personality-rich chicks turned "IMMA DO MY BEST YAAAAY" female leads I could name), so she's fine for now.

    ...in my own opinion....
    Dawn is great....
but I do want Dawn to leave....
....Misty is ''Ash's Life'' to me.....
...I really want the fact that Misty will back....
Dawn got the looks. . .but compare at Misty with Ash (and Brock)...I prefer more on her....

*shouts* Bring Misty Back!!!(ps. in my opinion only)

Yeah Misty should come back! But I think that Dawn should stay for a bit while Misty is there, remember The Power of One and Misty's jealousy?? :D

Dawn is related to this 4th Generation, once it ends, it's acceptable that she leaves.

It would be good if only one of the original characters were replaced, like Brock was in 2nd, and then Misty since the 6th. Misty should come back and the character to be replaced now should be PIKACHU!!

Please, I need a 5th Gen Pokémon better than that yellow thing.

If Dawn does leave, and Misty comes back, and so on. Wouldn't that be redundant? Sure, the nostalgia would have its effects for a while, but people would get tired of it quickly.

I would say that Dawn should at least stay for a bit longer before being cast away for another girl. :-|

It certainly isn't as redundant as basically replacing the female character every gen with the current generation girl, or doing Gym Battles every time anyways.

Having Misty stay permanently will at least add in a twist.

we'll i don't want dawn to leave early

I'm frankly getting sick and tired of how annoying her Piplup is.

    Spoiler:

She really doesn't contribute much other than the over 9000 Contests she's lost so the writers have an excuse to put more Contests in the anime (seriously, they've done almost as much, if not more Contests than Gyms in Sinnoh if memory serves), and the fact that the writers are turning her and Piplup into Wesleys just annoys me.

Get rid of her. Get a better female character or bring Misty or Kotone back; it doesn't matter, just anything better than her...

Having Misty stay permanently will at least add in a twist.

Uh, no, it won't. It will appeal to a few of the nostalgic "BRING MISTY BACK AAML FOREVER WOO" fans, but most of them will either A. realize that they don't care for her very much anymore or B. think that the Pokémon writers have butchered Misty so badly that she should have just not come back. It will not add any twist at all, and just like all the other girls, six-year-olds with short attention spans will tire of her.
