I have noticed that... I have no idea who my friends are here anymore. I don't recognize them. at all anymore.

So I have this to ask.

Does anyone keep there first usernames?

I have never changed mine. JBCBlank

That is me, it will always be me, where ever you see it.. it is me.

I don't think anyone generally keeps their first username because they get sick of it, or think of something better. I have changed mine once, but might stick with this one for a while.

I've never changed mine. It's always ShinjisLover OR, on other sites, ShinjiLover. They didn't let me have ShinjiLover here, so I just through an S in it where it would make sense.

I want to change mine, but I don't know how to; it's obvious I'll change this one I've grown bored of it

Technically I still have my first one, it's just on my other account now.
I've had 5 usernames in total now; and each time I've changed because I got tired of using the previous one for so long.
!!**Alex**!!, Flavaquil, Pachirisu, Kagami ☆ and now Ayano Katagiri.

Anyone who knows me on a personal level [not on PC, but on an IM client] knows that keeping a username is the one thing I cannot do. I call it an addiction.

    ^ oh totally.

I've gone by so many aliases that I can barely remember my first name on any Pokemon forum, though I think Libra was my first one here.

My old name was eugh, so no. A name that fits you at one point probably won't fit you later on, and since I'm pretty much at that awkward inbetween age, I'm probably going to change my name many more times to come. o:

    This is just like me.

I did get mine later than usual. I wanted to keep Misayu but then I thought of my current one and kept it. XD

My join name was rubbish. So I definately would not have kept it.

AdvancedK9 was my name for a long time, but I decided to change it to this for the heck of it.

This is the third alias I ever used online and... I've used it for about 8 years now? :] I've changed my name once on PC and changed back as soon as the six months were up. I have no plans to change it. Unfortunately, since "Lightning" is a damn common name absolutely everywhere and I hate adding on prefixes or suffixes of any kind (numbers, etc) I've had to move to a different alias in most places but I will always identify first and foremost with Lightning.

I like having a name that people can identify me with. It doesn't happen too often, but I have, many times in the past, had people come to me and say "Hey, are you Lightning from <forum name>" because they remembered my name and can still associate me with it. If I changed my name all the time, there would be no permanence and I would be some random face in the constantly-changing crowd. Sure your friends will remember you no matter what your username was but for the most part no one else will. Lightning is me and vice versa. I just don't understand the "I'm changing my username over and over" mentality. :( Then the username is just sort of... frivolous. It's not yours or at least, it doesn't seem like it.

I've changed mine ONCE - and that was only to put a capital letter at the start of my username! On every single forum i take the name of Toblerone, so if you see another Toblerone on another forum, it's bound to be me :P. The word Toblerone sort of came to me, as everyone started calling me Toblerone the first time they saw me eat a Toblerone (my name's Toby, you can see the connection)!

So, yes, i always use THIS username, and i will use this for as long as i am here. And in my opinion, it just isn't right having a name change every time you can.. it gets SO confusing.

my sign up name was noobish and something I'm glad to be rid of. this is actually my second name (though I did use a few variations of it last year, but now I'm not changing anymore)

Well, when I joined here I was a1337a; but sadly that name became associated with some crappy events that transpired. So when I rejoined, I did so as "Sawaa" which is a sort of juvenile corruption of my name. I was Rena Lanford for just a little while during which time I was reliving some of my past banner-making skills and now, here I am, as cloud.CONNECTED.

    Aren't I awesome?

If you mouse-over my name, it will tell you that I'm the same as I was ages ago.

I've gone through only a FEW name changes in my online career. Over the course of 10 years, I've only used.. two names, but with a few variations.

First was Lucifer (I was 10, what do you expect?). Then there was =[DvD]= Lucifer (the Unreal Tournament clan I was in).

After that, came Dimitri13 (Which was still kinda =[DvD]= Dimitri13). That stayed with me for 6 years. Although, I still use it occasionally. Oh, I also used iRtimid13 (I are timid)

My final name was Penguin13, because I needed to make a new character in Silkroad Online, because I already used Dimitri13. This was also a tribute character to my girlfriend, because she said I looked like a penguin in my tux at our first prom. Probably never going to change from this.

Oh, I also use iMaid in places where I don't want to be known or as a replacement for Dimitri13/Penguin13.

I only thought of changing it once and I rejected the idea a few hours after XD I simply can't, it's like... my internet name? Dunno, it's as if I changed my real name. I have it (or a numbered version) in all the places I where I have to sign up, so yeah. If I changed it, I'd feel someone else until the three months were up. And I'm happy enough with myself so why change it?

I've had this username ever since I first joined PC back in Jan 2005. I'm not a big fan on changing little thing about me every month or so. I tend to keep everything the same.
