Depends on the size, and the actual title. I've seen Naruto/Bleach manga go for $9.99 but a smaller Pandora Hearts go for $11.99. :/

[I know you're not asking me but I figured I'd answer proudly :D]

My manga collection.... is really really big, I mean humongous, I only have two ;;

I have zero Manga and zero Anime in my physical possession. Only reason, though, is because I can't afford it. As soon as I am in a more financially stable situation, however, the entire DGM collection shall be mine >D

BULLY! D;

I'm planning on expanding my collection as soon as I get a job, that way I can spend however much money I want since its mine and my parents can't say anything about it.

Woah. 50.
And it's alright, Charizard. xDD;;
I don't have that many either. Lesse'... about 9.
First manga I bought was Kingdom Hearts vol. 1.
Anyway, there are plenty of people who can't or choose not to buy manga, so I wouldn't worry too much. xD;
I need some D. GM in my collection. ._.;

Ah, I see. Because I'm fearing that Borders will close soon and B&N is a little walk away from there so I was wondering if they had major price differences.

Borders was actually contemplating buying B&N this past summer... or was that the other way around?

Anyways, manga should cost the same price between the two (the price on the back cover)

That all depends on the publisher and the series being published, as well. Viz Comics tends to have cheaper manga than its competitors, partially because theirs sell so much better because they're often the most popular shonen series that get brought over the the States. Those who bring over other series tend to have higher costs, and series such as Negima!, which is ink intensive for its bonus content (each volume has the fan art pages from the Japanese volumes, some explanation of each 3D background from the Japanese volumes, and a "Lexicon Negimarium" which explains the magical terms referenced in the volume) are also very high cost.
