I think I've got it.

Klippy LIED about switching with Gunner N4. Because that's against the rules; the OP states Nobody can only swap odd nights. I thought about pointing that out, but I never did, and then I noticed it was weird that Gunner never appeared to notice. Why wouldn't Gunner correct him? Surely Mana knows the rules to their own game (one would hope, at least) and didn't PM Gunner to say she'd been swapped even if Klippy had tried to pull that stunt.

tl;dr: Klippy lied, Gunner acted like she didn't know, no one knows the rules, now Klippy dies on a night he could actually swap Gunner.

I will say that that I gave in to a change for that a while ago. Whoever nobody has been recently has been able to swap straight away. sorry original Nobody/s
