Every Friday, one Drifloon will appear in the middle of the Valley Windworks. It will only appear after Team Galactic has been vanquished, at level 22 in Diamond/Pearl or level 15 in Platinum. If it is not battled and captured or fainted by the end of Friday, it will disappear until the following week.
Did you use this little cutie? If you didn't, why not? Did it prove to be an asset or a liability to your team?
I've never used Drifloon which is honestly a shame bc it's so cute and pretty good from what i hear! maybe someday. but i see its cute lil face every once in a while and it makes me happy :,)
Yeah, I have actually used it on a couple of occasions! I've used Drifblim for part of my playthrough, I just don't think I've ever properly used one on my main team.
I've always caught it with the intentions of using it on my team. However, I always find something that seems to take it's place. I really wanted to use it on my original team but unfortunately it found it's way into the PC.
Aftermath was a pretty good ability to have, so I used Drifblim in my teams more than a few times. It's immune to Normal, Fighting, and Ground type attacks which is a good chunk to be immune from.
I never knew how to obtain a Drifloon until watching a video on YouTube (it was also my first time discovering Marriland, a popular PokeTuber) and even after that, it still never ended up becoming a main team member as far as games in this generation are concerned.
I'll probably try that the next time I play a Sinnoh game - Drifloon is definitely cute enough to make me want to try it at some point. I guess I've just never been near that area on a Friday yet.
