Dark Pit could be an assist trophy or a stage boss much like Yellow Devil, or even a boss in Smash Run.
 
^ Yeah, that works too, and are also more likely than him being a character imo. Lots of options.
 
Watching those experienced Smash pros play FFA + Items was cringing. But it looked like they had a great time, and that Palutena hype.
 
Is the ORAS date not worldwide?

I'm excited for Palutena because she seems badass. I also wanna know if Pit's a different character because if it was just a palette change, why would he have been relevant in that video? Plus I doubt he would've been referred to by a different name entirely.

Not a worldwide singular release date, just that it being out worldwide in November, it seems.

It does make sense that he'd be referred to by a different name in the KI universe, because... he kinda was there too. Time will tell.

Btw? It seems there's a roundtable event for smash now over there, and news is Pacman is in as a character too. Game and Watch returns too

Edit - those figurines are for your own CPU opponent. They learn how you fight and adapt how they fight too -so essentially, better than the lv 9 CPUs from previous smash games, at least in theory. Neat implementation imo, doesn't restrict characters you can use.

They also said Wii U version being later is mostly due to debugging (not surprising, so basically we can expect the wii u version to be more polished)

Let us know if it actually changes in 2 min :3 I'm guessing it's supposed to go off of California time, which would be 11AM tomorrow.

Yeah, just saw, nothing happened. The timer went back up (3, 2, 1, 0, 1, 2, 3... etc seconds). So when it will show is anyone's guess. Whoever coded it didn't do a great job!
 
It's probably not professional. Might just announce Pac Man, as if people don't already know.

I'm glad to know Game and Watch is back. He's a favorable abuse character, alongside Ness. I'll probably main the latter and Ike.
 
Wh-wait, Nintendo is ALLOWED to use Pac Man? Well, considering Bandai now owns Pac Man, I suppose it makes sense... (I had to look that up.)

Yup and since Namco is working with Sakurai on these games, it makes total sense. On top of that , Pacman is one of the most iconic video game characters ever and Namco's most famous character too so it fits perfectly.

I'm excited to see Pacman in action. I had a small part in my childhood where I obsessed with Pacman and was hoping he'd be in a Smash Brothers game eventually. I'm just excited to see what moves he's capable of.

Are you guys referring to the Treehouse event for tomorrow? It's suppose to start at 9 something am PDT.

I wonder what we'll see tomorrow. I hope they show off the ORAS demo and other 3DS games since today they focused on Wii U games.

I wonder who it is... the words Demon and Mercenary made me think of Ganon from Zelda. Irc in one game he's a thief/mercenary, and we all know he's a demon. Plus the dark clouds...
