Issue: Emblem PMs do not give a new PM notification

    I noticed this every time i got an emblem. It says "0 Messages" and doesn't give a pop-up notification, but when i open the inbox it shows a unread private message for the emblem.
     
    Who's it from? Sometimes PMs from some people just don't show up at all. elhero's PMs don't notify me at all, emblems or otherwise.

    I currently use "Quilava's Glaciation" . I also got the same issue on "The Y-Axis".

    Dracul(elhero), Cadance, Maruno, Zach, Brendino, Dragon and Necrum.

    I always got notifications when the PM was not emblem related (for example when me and Dracul were discussing the Flappy Bird emblem breaking the page) or when i discussed something with Mydrago.
     
    The lack of PM notifications for emblems has been universal for me, at least, and that's on The Y-Axis, The Johto Elite, and Seeds of Platinum. Also no notification for the emblem itself.

    Huh. Maybe I'm misclicking something when I award them.

    When you go to award the emblem, by default the option to notify the user by PM should be enabled; you do have the option though to also not notify them by PM as well.

    Anyways, I just tested giving an emblem to myself, and I can confirm that it doesn't show up in the notifications area when receiving the PM. However, the pop-up window still appears when I receive the message for emblems.

    No, I know that. I'm just saying maybe I clicked something else that would have contradicted that. But it doesn't seem like that's the case, considering you seem to have the same problem as everyone else.

    That's really weird. I don't remember seeing this issue before. Has everyone else found that this has only just started happening to them?
     
    I've always had this issue, but with infraction PM's (So far I haven't received any emblems).. I have never gotten PM notifications for them. Maybe it's a bug relating to "form" PM's? (i.e. PM's that the mods just have to fill out and not create from scratch)
     
    Yeah I played around with things a bit more and found that infraction PM notifications aren't appearing which is absolutely not okay and also that it does appear to be automatic PMs which don't produce notifications. How exactly to fix that, I... am uncertain since our notification system is so different to the default vB one which is all I have access to for messing around with right now. I'll see if I can get this looked into by someone who knows more than me.
