Saw dead snakes outside. My neighbors said they were having problems with snakes in their vegetable garden. I hadn't ever seen them around here before, but now I have- the neighbor's cats have been roaming around the block and one was carrying a live, wriggling snake in its mouth. Worse, they left pieces of it in my yard when they were finished playing with it. It was disturbing to see. I am also worried about the snake infestation they have potentially spreading to my place.

They should, but I don't think they will. They seem to not to part with money. In the meantime I am trying to take precautions, leaving no standing water, pet food or anything around that might attract 🐍 to this garden here. *knocks wood*
 
I don't know if it should be called an emotion, but I'm feeling Overwhelmed. A bunch if stuff stacked up, all at once, it's as if I'm carrying a Huge Weight on my shoulders, and if I drop it, things will get very bad for my family

You will know exactly how I feel right now.

I woke up to no internet, called the people who are in charge of that, got a recording saying it was an issue with the power company and would be resolved in a couple of hours, 5 hours go by with nothing, I call again, they tell me it's the power company, I call said power company personally, they no nothing, I call internet people again and speak to a tech, who then finally calls the power company, then I can finally, after over 15 hours get back online. There's more that I had to deal with today, but nothing I care to mention here. Suffice it to say, I'm tired...

I'm sorry you're feeling lonely Lavemu. I feel intensely lonely all the time too so believe me I feel your pain. Remember that if you can find happiness inside yourself and within the natural world then you don't need anyone else to be happy. You are everything you need, the rest is just a bonus on top <3

I wish that life wasn't so dang hard on you Lavy... If there is absolutely anything at all I can do to help make it even 0.0001% easier or better for you, please tell me and I'll do everything in my power to see it done.
I know full well you have a lot of trouble trusting people, and I understand that perfectly, but if you feel you have nowhere else to turn, I'll always have your back no matter what. 🫂

It's near the end of the semester and I literally do not have enough time to finish my final projects. I keep jumping back and forth between tasks because my mind is in 16 different places at once. I can't focus at all, and my motivation is in the negatives. Stressed is an understatement.

Doctor said my dad's cancer appears to be in complete remission, which is good, but the exact same day I got news that a friend of the family died. She was one of those sunny personalities that could light up a room and had an amazing singing voice, but I am told that her heart gave out. I don't as much feel like celebrating as before. She had a lot of hardships in life, and I'm sad that things just never got better for her.
