enough about why 2016 sucks

In the spring, I was interested to be in a BuzzFeed article (but it didn't work out) & was offered to have my own video show but I'd turned it down. Even though neither of those worked out, both of them I consider to be some cool achievements of this year :).
edit: i'd also joined pc this year which is a plus !

oh i also saw the 1975, james bay, and third eye blind
i saw the 1975 as well ;)

I went to Spain in September, and although I've been a few times now, it was probably one of the best holidays I've ever had.

I got some good grades, returned to PC, made some great friends here and although it was sad, breaking up with my girlfriend was for the best and tbh, this year has been good to me :)

I watched one of my favourite bands perform live for the last time.

- Received a promotion at work.
- Went out of state not once, but twice for mini-vacations.
- Started college again and actually earning really good grades. My lowest grade being a 90%.
- Had my anemia "cured".
- Saw one of my favorite bands perform live.
- My boyfriend proposed, so a wedding will be happening sometime in 2018.

- A new Star Fox game
- short-haired Serena is out of the anime
- Toho returns to making Godzilla movies
- I've completed all of my semesters at my university
- Went to Disneyland on my university's field trip

I think I have some good things in 2016.

- Knowing that Pokémon Sun and Moon comes out with Chinese language along with it.
- Getting appointed for a job somewhere.
- Going on vacay to Medan, and seeing Lake Toba for the first time, to the extent.
- Getting the first Prima guide related to Pokémon Sun and Moon.
- Getting some Victini merchandise :)

Getting a job in civil service was definitely the highlight. I've been searching for a proper job for years, and for my patience to finally pay off felt sooo great. I took the civil service exam in December 2015 with a score of 92.8. There's an average wait time of one year before you get interviewed for people who score in the top range like me... Waiting that long was tough and I often thought nothing would come of it, but I was clearly wrong.

Also made some cool new acquaintances at my last job, and made some great connections at the job before that. Things are really looking up right now! Early 2016 was very poor but it's ending on a muuuch better note. I have high hopes for 2017.
