Night #6

The villagers had dwindled in numbers, and had slowly come to know one-another's identities. Together they pushed for one more death, however some evil still hid within their ranks.

Today's target was Klippy, someone who had been heavily affected by the magical happenings. She was thrown forwards, tossed towards the eager castle guard.

"This one's definitely evil!" one woman shouted, "burn him at the stake!" The crowd gasped, keen to see the evil one before them turned to crisp. The pyre was prepared, the woman twitching with anger as she awaited her death.

"Bring her in!" One guard shouted, helping drag the resistant woman up the slippery, oiled logs. He made extra sure to secure the ropes and chains binding her, before hopping back down and lighting the kindling.

In seconds the pyre was engulfed in flames. The flames licking the sky, tainted red.

Second later, however, and the flame extinguished. Nothing remained of Klippy.

Day #7

As the morning mist rolled in across town, it was clear something was wrong. There was not a sound.

Detox and eros strode down mainstream, the former covered in his victim's blood. They were hunting for the final lost lambs, two beings not of this new world. The Wolf soon caught their scent, weaving them in and out the alleyways until they came to an old shack in the corner of town - Rumpelstiltskin's lair.

"Nice of you to come to me, dearies," The trickster chirped as the pair cautiously entered the den. On the floor, bound in ropes, Lost Heart and gimmepie struggled for their lives.

"I see you've finally taken over this town, and in the nick of time! Shame that Knight couldn't protect himself, wasn't it?" Ash chuckled, she had watched Netto Azure writhe in pain for hours, "but, at least that newly born fairy was easy to swat."

"For that I owe you my allegiance," a weird smile grew across Ash's face, she gestured to a box on the floor.

"What am I meant to do with a head?" eros asked with a snap, however, he then noticed something metallic at the bottom. A small, golden, jewel-encrusted crown.

It was that night that evil took over in the capital, darkness took over.

The Angel & The Sleeping Beauty survived.

The Wolf & The Lady of the Lake are victorious!

I died before I could've revealed that Klippy was lying in a post. Heck, I also checked Gio too if he was actually was Rumplestiltskin I would've rather targeted someone else. I didn't think that there were this much mafia in a game of 28.

Well at least I didn't die.

I was the Sleeping Beauty, twice during the game I was able to "sleep" during which time I was immune to night actions and couldn't die. I also couldn't say anything during the day phase as a result though.

You are THE ANGEL

As The Angel, you may investigate one dead body every night. From this you will find out:

• What their precise role was
• Which role killed them (if NA)
• How many mafia voted for them (if lynch)

Their role will then be revealed publicly in the following phase change (for example, changing from Townsman -> The Beast). It is up to you whether you go public with the rest of your findings.

You are THE FAIRY KING

As The Fairy King, you are both a communicative role for the innocents and something of an investigator. Every night phase, you may pick one player - if that player is an innocent and receives your message then they will be added to a group chat, where the innocents can talk freely.

If your message reaches one of the mafia, or is blocked on its way to an innocent, nobody will join the chat that night. Further information as to what has happened may be available in the following Day post.

As The Knight, you may pick a player to protect during the night phase. That person cannot die until the following night, from lynching, killing or backfiring actions.

As a secret role, The Sleeping Beauty, you have a special two-use power to protect yourself from harm. This will prevent death from any cause for two phases - the condition being you do not speak in the thread for this time.

To activate this power you can PM me at any point. I will PM you when the power has run out. Any posts in thread will render your power void. You will also not receive a Poison Apple for missing a vote in this situation.

As the secret role, The Charming Prince, you must find a princess to unlock your full potential. To do so, you must propose to a player at night - if you successfully send the rose to The Princess then you will become King and Queen. Both receiving a huge power boost for your troubles. This role may not be shared at all, you must identify as a Townsman, even to your fellow innocents.

To make this more difficult The Princess is unaware of her role. Perhaps Rumpelstiltskin could help?...

Naku had the only improvised role, after the sudden death of The Prince. Regardless, Naku was secretly The Princess regardless - however he thought he was a normal townie.

You are THE VENGEFUL PRINCESS

As The Vengeful Princess, the death of The Charming Prince has pulled you from the realm of story tales to exact your revenge.

Your mission it to take down The Wolf, by setting traps around a player during the night. Each of these traps will last for the current and the following night phase - should The Wolf set foot near one he will surely die. If another activates your trap first, however, it will be rendered useless.

When The Wolf is slain you will wear his skin as a trophy.

As The Glass Slipper, you are a vanilla townie until The Evil Step-Mother dies. If this happens, you will immediately be promoted to The Fairy Godmother.

You are THE LADY OF THE LAKE

As the The Lady of the Lake, you must choose a new King and gift them with Excalibur on Night Two. Excalibur is a secret killing power that will only work on those of a different alignment to the user.

On giving Excalibur your alignment will then switch to match your King's, your win conditions will also match his. He will also know of your identity, and you will gain a new night action.

You are THE RAVEN

As the secret role, The Raven, you have the ability to snoop on what your target does that night phase. You will know who they targeted and whether they succeeded or failed. You will not, from your report, know what night action was used - however, there may be hints in the following day post.

Unfortunately, you cannot win on your own. You must join the innocents or evildoers to win. To do so, accept The Fairy King's invitation or be targeted by The Sorceress. If and when your alignment changes you will be free to share all information gathered and you will receive an additional power boost.

You are RUMPELSTILTSKIN

As Rumpelstiltskin, you are the riddle master of the game. Every night phase you must provide some form of riddle - this can be a typical rhyme-with-an-answer, it could be a 'find me...' kind of riddle or anything else that involves a one word answer. I would recommend coming up with some yourself, as people will be able to google for answers to common riddles. You must also pick a potion to act as the reward:

Potion of Love
Pick a player to [SEDUCE] and become immune to their night action for the rest of the game.

Potion of Knowledge
Pick a player to publicly [REVEAL] in the next day post. This potion has a 50% chance of success.

Potion of Life
[DRINK] this potion yourself or [PROTECT] another player from a single death. This immunity continues for two phases.

If nobody completes the riddle, by PMing me the correct answer within 24 hours, then you will receive the potion instead. If you survive to Day 5 you will receive another potion type to pick from.

The Mystic's spell has awoken more than he bargained for. As The Truth Seeker you are granted the ability to detect a lie in the daytime.

At any point during a day phase you can PM me up to two player's posts (in one or multiple PMs - links would be handy!). I will confirm whether they are telling the truth, or are lying.

If the answer is neither (for example, what they have posted is just their opinion rather than a fact) then you will not receive a response to that post.

You are THE FAIRY GODMOTHER

As The Fairy Godmother you can help bring your team together. Each night you can pick a player - that player will receive a PM informing them of one of their allies. If they are unaffiliated they will not receive a PM at all.

TWICE you may peek at these PMs and see who their ally is as well.

Once promoted to The Fairy Godmother you also receive immunity until the following night (N5 in this case).

At last your true soul has crossed over! As The Queen of Hearts you can manifest dark magic to manipulate other players. Every night you may pick a player to work your spells on, the outcome depends on chance:

25% Chance of nullifying their next day vote.

As The Cupid you can let people experience true love. Each night you can pick a pair of players to become lovers - protecting their hearts from evil curses. During their time as lovers (through the night and the follow day) they may not target each other or lynch one another, their votes and actions are nullified if they attempt to.

Your lovers will know who the lover is, but be sworn to secrecy and may not reveal their lovers status until it wears off the following night.

Epilogue

Atop the castle, Rumpelstiltskin prepared his tower. He had taken residence in the royal castle whilst The Wolf and The Lady of the Lake ordered their plans. It hadn't taken long for the two to squabble - The Lady unbound, not loyal to The Wolf, had rivaled him at every term, key to take the kingdom for herself and release The Wolf into the wild.

The Lady's plan had good reasoning, ever since The Queen of Hearts' demise she had felt unsettled. Something was amiss, she wasn't ready to leave this place just yet.

The Wolf on the other hand wasn't opposed to her idea, he only resisted out of stubbornness. He wanted this victory as his own, since he had been fighting it much longer than her.

Peering down on the sleeping city, Rumpelstiltskin was nothing but pleased. He had bent many to his will, making them play along with his games. The Sorceress hadn't a clue what she was getting in to, casting a spell crafted by a madman.

"So we'll rule over this place, together?" His acquaintance asked, stepping out of the shadows. Her formed peasant clothes replaced with those worthy of a royal, an exuberant red and gold dress exaggerating her exquisite figure.

"Of course, my love," Rumpel turned, looking surprisingly human, "for we shall be the King and Queen of this land. We shall rule together, but first let's rid ourselves of a pest."
