    In Lilycove City, we had a Department Store that had a quite number of items and some items that are for secret bases. There was also an event that can get exclusive secret bases items that cant get anywhere else.

    In XY, there was no department store that has been found. So, what do you think would happen this time around? Would the department store come back? Will some new items be introduced like clothes?

    I hope so, it was convenient to have all of those shops in one place. They could add a huge boutique there too.
    Ps: I laughed at the last part of the title, makes me think of one of those old stereotypical films of Californian girls xD. It wasn't needed but it sure captured my attention.
     
    I mean, it's really gotta make a comeback. Maybe have some more items exclusive to it, maybe more for sales and that depending on potential secret base expansions. But it wouldn't be right to remake Lilycove without its department store. I'm hoping the highest tier clothing store would be on the top floor or something though because that'd probably be the most fitting place for it, right?
     
    I don't really see a reason for GameFreak to take out the department store. I can imagine some kind of high-end boutique/clothing store to be in it if trainer customization does come back.
     
    You know, I only realized that XY didn't have a department store when I read your post... But I guess it didn't even need one because the department store is essentially spread all around Miare City (the one with the Eiffel Tower clone)

    I don't see any reason why it should be removed in ORAS. They could even add a dedicated clothing section, plus a dedicated stones section selling evo and mega stones later on.

    It'll still be there, I'm sure. It's what makes Lilicove so special (at least in my eyes), so why take it out? Well, I mean there's this art museum and ship dock, but aside from them, they have nothing else to see in Lilicove. I'd really like to see them add more items in this store this time around, personally. They've had a lot of things in RSE, but by adding more, chances of you visit this place would be increased drastically. :] It's a shopping mall; malls are supposed to be like that. If they're keep character customization, I could definitely see them selling clothes and accessories here.
     
    It's funny, Lilycove is one of the few cities in Hoenn that doesn't have a gym in it. Discounting Ever Grande City (because that is home to the Pokémon League), Lilycove and Slateport City are the only cities with no gym. This means there should be a lot of other attractions to keep the player busy. In Slateport there's the shipyard, the beach, name rater, market, area to obtain Secret Power, and so on. With Lilycove, its biggest attraction is debateably its Department Store (tied with the Pokémon Contests perhaps). It'd feel really bare without the Department Store, since it's so central.

    I can certainly see it remaining, it would shape the city much differently if it were to go. I'm hoping they do bring back the rooftop sale too. I always loved seeing that prop up on the TV, I always got such awesome Secret Base items there.
     
    I loved every aspect of Lilycove City, being one of my most favorite cities in Hoenn. This, of course, includes the Department Store. It was one of my favorite places in Hoenn, because it was useful to me that it had a larger variety of items than the PokeMarts. Like what most said, a boutique could be fitting in the store (because it's a department store!), and I could see new additions with it too. :) I don't see why should they remove the department store, they're more likely going to update/upgrade it than remove it. So unless the department store goes bankrupt, I'll be expecting that department store staying where it is. :]
     
    I was kinda disappointed by Kalos' lack of a department store, but given the presence of one in Lilycove City in the originals makes me believe they'll keep it there in these remakes. Given the presence of trainer customization in X/Y I think they might include the most expensive clothes in this department store a la Boutique Couture in Lumiose City.

    I wonder what TMs they might sell there, maybe they might keep most of the ones the original games had but maybe mix it up with some of the newer ones.
     
    Lilycove Department Store sure offered a variety of neat items, definitely will be returning to see the stunning views of Hoenn from the rooftop.

    I'd love to see how awesome that rooftop view would look in the new graphics, and I'm sure they will retain the vending machine that offers the various drinks (Fresh Water, Soda Pop, Lemonade) as well like the original games.
     
    Ok but reall tho it better make a return because that's where you buy almost ALL of the decorations available for Secret Bases and you better believe it'd buy them out. Also maybe they'll increase the amount of TMs they sell there which would be awesome.
     
    As long as they don't include that ridiculous 'stylishness' then I would love a Department store return with clothes!
     
    This was an awesome place. Especially because it was close to that ridiculously hard double battle Gym! You can get all sorts of stuff from here, and I like how you have to battle your rival to get in. In OR & AS, I'd love to see the screen lift up and look at the whole building before entering.

    I would like to hear some unqiue music too plz. I like the Hoenn mart music, but I think these department stores should be given a little different music.
     
    Especially if they spread contests throughout the region, if they take out the department store, there's nothing in Lilycove. I don't see why they'd take it out if the building's already there.

    Oh wow. Think about what they could do with the rooftop and some camera angles! !!
     
    I wouldn't imagine how Lilycove would be without that Department store. I think they would be expanding the city overall anyway, so I don't see why they won't keep the Department store, and perhaps they would make one or two more to satisfy the players clothing needs. I didn't really like the way how they cramped the Secret Base decorations into one floor with four shopkeepers, I would like to see a whole store dedicated to decorations for Pokémon and Secret Bases. It would be fun to select from all the options since we could potentially have an expanded secret base.
     
    I wouldn't make sense if they just got rid of the Department Store there. It's an essential part of Lilycove so why take it out? What I'd love to see is a clothing boutique added on the top floor or the roof though. Hopefully we get to customize our trainers and boutiques are included.
