Yes, I lie. It's one of my quirks, I guess.
It's not something that I'm proud of, the ability to lie, but it does come in handy sometimes. When I need to hide a piece of information that I really don't want coming out, I lie. Lying to me is a two-faced figure. Sometimes it's really good to lie, to not hurt a person's feelings and then sometimes to bring them down to earth. it's also a good time when you're being questioned about something you either don't know, are really uncomfortable with the question or just need to save yourself from doing something thats not good for you or morally good for you (eg: "Oh, I've got to clean the garage." when someone gives you a cigarette). Those times are fine in my opinion, when it's doing it for your or someones own good. Then theres the times when it's bad to lie, when you're just trying to be hurtful or decietful, to get someone to do work which you know they can't do but do it for you when you're supposedly sick or hurt. That would be something that gives lying it's bad name.
I've done both types of lying, a lot of the time. Most of them are actually to benefit myself in some way or another, because I'm generally a selfish person, though not to the heart. Speaking of the heart, it can be very painful when someone lies to you not for your own good, but to decieve you and play a trick on you. Those lies are...well, sick, to be frank. Sickening, but people do do them. And when people do lie to you for your own good, if you find out, it's sometimes equally as hurtful to them as the former.
Thats my opinion on lying, I guess.
