Very happy indeed. ^_^

Sorry for the nitpick, it's just that Philosophy class has taught me to be very careful with distinctions like this (particularly extremes like 'perfect' and 'everyone'). Unfair generalizations and all that. x3

That being said, it doesn't change the fact that a rewrite would make it better; it's just a matter of when you reach the point where the effort of rewriting isn't compensated in quality increase. So...uhh...diminishing marginal returns for the win? Yay, I just mixed in Economics here too. xP

eh - five words most used wrongly:

Love

Perfection

Hate

Will

Work.

Get those five sorted and you can live a life properly.

Just thought I'd put it in.

News Flash: I plan to post my next chapter as soon as I get a
Spoiler:
from Scenice. I think that'll be tomorrow, so if anyone still wants to catch up in time, now's it. :P

No pressure, though. xD

I've seen people doing co-op chapters and am currently doing one myself with someone who I won't yet name. How do most people go about doing these?

Anyone have the attention span to read and review chapter four of Season Champs?

I would. Except I haven't followed it from the start... Oh, what the Hell, I'll review it anyway. Even though I can't review for my life. -_-

Lord, I'm about to post the thread. Here are the ones you can't do

Accept, except
Affect, Effect
Advice, Advise
Conscious, conscience
Idea, Ideal
Its, It's
Lead, led
Than, then
All ready, alright
Anyone, any one
All together, altogether
Anyway, any way
Their, There, They're
To, too, two
We're, where, were
Your, you're

If you can think of any others, feel free to post them

Hey, guys! Umm... I've been revising Biohazard, but there's a question that's kind of popped into my mind regarding prologue set-up... If anyone who read the original version remembers, I had an event involving Alakazam, Charizard, and Tyranitar exploring the ruins of a lab in which they have a nightmarish encounter with two of my fakemon. Now, I've kept this part, but added a little more to the 'creepy' factors of it. However, I was wondering if it'd be appropriate to go and have a little bit of background details about the mission they're on or would this be too revealing for a prologue? I'm kinda stumped...

Keep it as it is. Give certain stuff away, but, keep it as it is... Well, that's what I think anyway...

Scythemaster, I reviewed your fic and found some errors, it was a rushed review though...

Skunter, if the mission they were sent on didn't seem like a big deal, then you could include it. Like if they were sent only to investigate the location and then find out that there's a murdering beast there.

Currently, I'm typing up the last two pages of an essay on a movie for my history class. (<3) But once that's done, I'll only have one semi-major project to do for my geography class, which is only to design my own country. So I can catch up on reviewing after...tonight. I have to review Haruka of Hoenn's fic first, since I was asked to. Then it's just poking around and reviewing what I feel like.

Ok, I'm sort of stuck here. As I have hinted before in recent posts, I have realised that the saga I'm working on... Isn't good. So, the way I see it, I have three choices:

1: Keep going with the story.

2: Go back and edit the story before continuing.

3: Get it locked and start again.

Please don't tell me it's my choice. I really want you guys to tell me the truth right now.

Go back and edit. You want to keep writing the story, correct? Well then change the chapters a bit. Don't be afraid to change events or personalities around a bit. If you want the fanfic to stay alive, then stay and edit. If you don't want to write it at all on the other hand, then maybe you should drop it. Fanfiction is something you do for fun, not because you have to.

What is your main purpose as a writer? Just for fun? Or do you plan on actually becoming an author?

Nah, I don't want to be a published author. ^^; There are a lot of reasons why I don't, and one of them has to do with why I write.

Simply put, I'm not interested in writing anything other than fanfiction. For me, the motivation to write comes solely from being a fan of this or that and wanting something out of the fandom than I can get from its canon material alone. Dissatisfaction is my primary source of inspiration; it breeds curiosity in me, and when I wonder is when I become creative.

I hope to someday be a writer. Last year in my english class, she made us write a novel every two months, which is a lot harder than it sounds. Whoever was the best, she would make it look pretty and look like an acutal book, and if it was REALLY good, she'd submit to some contest. I had the best novel each time. #_#

There is a book out there now on the life of the people on board the Death Star from Star Wars, which merited a column in the Washington Post. Just because your work is within something already published doesn't mean that it can't be published as well.

That being said, I want to become a published author, but I think I'd be better at putting my talents to use as a journalist or a critic.

Whoops, forgot about such things. ^^; Still, I'd vastly prefer to not become a published author.

O.o

Dang, you guys are partying while I was busy with school and work! XD

Anyways, want to answer this question quick before I go back to schoolwork...

On the question of being a published author, I would like to one day, but most likely won't. I am still trying to improve my grammar and emotions.

Also, sorry everyone that I hadn't gotten to the reviews yet. Been very, very busy. Hope to do at least some of the reviews this weekend.

Actually, if you put your mind to it, I'm sure you can become a published author. You just need to keep writing and keep practicing. You get better every time I see you. It kinda reminds me of the time with Katiekitten first came to SPPF. She posted her first story, got it critiqued. Wrote another story, it was substantially better than the first one, it got critiqued, and so on... and look where she is now. Definitely not the writer I remember from two years ago. And she got there because she had a good deal of determination and perseverance. Knowing you, I'm sure you can do the same.

ok... I have some bad news... I have lost my internet connection and I'm doing this through PSP. So this may well be the last time I speak to all of you.

If it is I would like you to know that I counted you as my best friends here.

ok, I think that is all... feel free to email me...

Til then,

thanks for letting me be part of this.

Dont lock my fanfic.

Well, that fic had better not be locked after all the time I've spent on the review. :<

Anyways, I don't know how you lost your connection but I doubt that you're going to be sealed away from the internet for all eternity (now that would be harsh x.x). That really sucks about what happened, though. Take care and may your connection return soon, m'kay? ^^

And Skunter: that depends entirely on how you plan to build up the rest of your fic. Sure, prologues should be obscure and all, but if knowing some of the mission details would change the reader's perception of the fic (in a direction you want to change it towards) then go for it. If not then don't. There's a lot to be said for keeping your readers in suspense about things throughout the fic and having them learn about the mission as your characters do so. (As I assume they will find out about it at some point?)

Erm...yeah, hope that was a bit clearer than mud. x3
