Favorite Crime Organization

[Alpha May/Omega Brendan]

So, out of all the Crime Organizations that were introduced in the main series, which one is your favorite.

 

[Hiatus]

Team Rocket, definitely; it's the original criminal organization that we've got (although, it could be argued that any other team could be seen as such if they weren't lucky), and they appear not only once throughout games, but twice. Team Plasma does the same, I suppose, but they grow distinct in their second run, so it doesn't exactly have the same effect. As for second favorite, it's got to be a tie between Team Magma and Aqua.

Neo Team Rocket I found to be a lot more interesting in GSC. The first time round only Giovanni stood out in my eyes.

I love Team Magma though, as I always preferred Groundon to Kyogre, and played Ruby more than Sapphire.

I liked Plasma and Galactic because I found both had relatively ambitious plans (especially B/W2 Neo Plasma) and they were quite a strong force in the games. The Galactic Commanders were a tough bunch to crack, particularly when you face Mars in the Valley Windworks. Her Purugly's pretty strong early in the game, while the others get respect due to using otherwise underrated Pokemon. As for Plasma, Colress' Pokemon of choice were different...I mean, he has a Rotom-Wash and a Magnezone, two of my favourite Electric types. I also have a mini crush on Colress. <3

Plasma and Rocket. Rocket is the original so I'm fond of it and overall nostalgic for it whereas with Plasma I found them very interesting. I haven't played BW2 but I've heard that it expands on them a bit. I really should get around to playing it :/

 

[Guardian]

Team Rocket for sure.

Team Aqua was pretty cool, and Magma too, but their plans were meh. Just a huge natural apocalypse.

Team Galactic, lets see, delusional leader and brainless grunts. They were cool but dumb as well.

team Rockets steals money and get money off them. They are bad, but they are smart, and what they are doing makes more sense than what others so, having in mind that they are not very nice lol.

Team Galatic actually blew up a lake so those guys went to the most extreme

Team Rocket is pretty much just the mafia while all the other groups are terroist orginazations

My vote goes to Team Plasma, specifically the Black/White one, not so much Neo Team Plasma, because they basically provided for the best story in the main series games (though it still needed a little more to it). Neo Team Plasma is just generic "we're gonna take over the world villians". But they do get Colress, so there's that.

Team Galactic and Team Rocket weren't bad either.

Team Rocket. It's not because it's the first it's just the only one that makes any logical sense probably because it was the first lol. Every team after that just seems so radical. They're cult like and crazy for the most part. Team Rocket was just a crime organization that exploits Pokemon to make money. Not full of crazies, not cult like.

Galactic while crazy and cult like had a leader that was actually interesting and I thought the commanders were good as characters themselves too. So I'll give them an honorable mention

Team Plasma all the way. Ghetsis was easily the most dangerous and cunning evil team leader yet - not only was he on the threshold of victory at the end of BW, he tried to kill the player character in BW2 - but the best part about that is it's part of his plan, only actually used to bait out N and steal his dragon to make freaky mutants.

The only other team that even compares in scale and effectiveness is Galactic IMO, though Rocket gets points for not needing ambition when they're drowning in so much illegal profit, plus having the best outfits.

Team Plasma and Magma are my favorite crime organizations. Team Plasma's cause is among one of the best (in my opinion, anyway) despite it being a façade set up by Ghetsis. Speaking of, Ghetsis is my all-time favorite boss, what with his manipulating his own adopted son and Grunts into helping him fulfill his goal and attempts to pierce/freeze (depends on how you want to interpret it) the player in BW2. Neo Team Plasma was also pretty awesome; their design is my favorite and I love how they execute their plans. (Freezing a whole city is pretty terrible. I love it.) As for Team Magma, I like their cause and design, plus I love how cool Maxie looks in RSE and ORAS. I also feel like Maxie is less crazier than Archie (especially when you take their Pokemon Special/Adventures counterparts into account), and could probably be a good guy.

Honorable mentions go to Team Galactic for their goal + awesome Admins. and boss and to Team Rocket because of the things they do + freakin' Giovanni.

 

[Universe]

Probably Team Galactic.

Because let's just be real for a second here. Cyrus literally decided he didn't want our world and that it wasn't good enough for him, so he tore open a whole other dimension in an attempt to create an entirely new world in his vision. In the process he took control of the three beings that created emotion, wisdom, and willpower, and then he used them to take control over the being of time/space to create said new world.

What could possibly be more badass than that?
