Favorite film?

All time? This year? For me a film has to maintain re-watchability for it to get ranked in my favorites and IMO my most "rewatchable" films have to be:

Shaun of the Dead
Pineapple Express
Anything by Martin Scorcese
Anything by Guy Ritchie

Three words: The Other Guys
That movie was hilarious and kept my attention.

The Other Guys was awesome. IMO any Will Ferrel raunch-comedy can be a favorite of mine (Anchorman, Step Brothers)

Gotta love New Kids Turbo, best Dutch movie made.EVER.
Though it isn't my all-time favorite, the following movies are all way better:

The Other Guys
The Kingdom
The Dark Knight
Rush Hour (all 3 parts, I could watch these films over and over)
I Am Legend
rocknrolla

Shaun of the Dead
I've seen Shaun if the dead twice, it was fun the first time, but I'd give it a zero for "re-watchability"

Wow. Well, to each their own. There are just so many layers of jokes there. But I love brit comedies. I love all the films on your list but I don't know that I can rewatch Rush Hour 3.

I like horror films such as The Grudge and I knew what you did last summer. I also like American Pie series, Salt, Inception and Tourist.

I hold an endless love for The Road to El Dorado. Kids movies are the greatest.

Other than that, I really enjoyed Cloverfield, but Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and Mulholland Drive are probably the ones fighting for the first place, along with As It Is In Heaven. I enjoy quiet, slightly eerie movies.

The Lord of The Rings trilogy, they're just fantastic films and prove that books can indeed be faithfully turned into films. The newest Star Trek film is also one I can watch many times without ever tiring of it.

My favorite movie of all time will have to be the Lion King. I love everything about it and it was one of my childhood favorites.

Inception
21
Season of the Witch (weird)
Paranormal Activity 2
Sorcerer's Apprentice (for a laugh and for a girl)

My top five movies (in order) are: The Bucket List, Inception, I Love You Man, The Dark Knight, Anchorman. The Bucket List, just because it really gets to me, Inception because it had amazing action scenes and a great concept, I Love You, Man because it was hilarious, The Dark Knight because it had a good concept and very well played characters, and Anchorman because it's a classic.

All time is Stand By Me. Then Ferris Buller's Day Off, The Breakfast Club, and Back to the Future.
Back to the Future and Buller? I like your list.

On my list...
- Star Wars: Episode IV, A New Hope - Revisited Edition
- Star Wars: Episode V, The Empire Strikes Back - Special Edition
- Who Framed Roger Rabbit
- Ghostbusters
- Ratatouille
- Batman Begins
- The Dark Knight
- Casino Royale 007
- Super Mario Bros. (I know it's bad, but it's so bad its good... or something)
- A Christmas Story
- Christmas Vacation
- Any "Toy Story" movie
- Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery

These are all movies that have infinite watch-ability for me.

I'm not very picky when it comes to movies. I think film critics take movies far too seriously. I would consider any John Hughes movie to be my favorite, especially Planes, Trains, and Automobiles and Home Alone.
