Favorite/least favorite video game character?

    I'm sure we've had this thread before, but it's died off! Anyway, simple question. Who is your favorite video game character and who is your least favorite? Can be from any game, of course. Minor or major character.

    My favorite character is probably Lucas from Mother 3. He reminds me of myself, really. Very shy, a bit of a crybaby, but ultimately overcomes it in the end. And he's just an overall likable character...despite not speaking too much. I also like Lightning from Final Fantasy XIII because women with pink hair and badassery are cool. I like cool.

    Least favorite is Navi Kaepora Gaebora Tingle from The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask/Wind Waker (haven't played any other games he's in). He's just too creepy for my tastes, the way he parades around in green tights and he looks like a pedophile. And he makes strange noises. I prefer the Twilight Princess mailman over him. And Fassad from Mother 3 is horrid as well. You just want to strangle him throughout the game, but when you get to the end, you kinda realize that he was tortured enough with what he really is.

    Probably Zidane Tribal from FFIX due to him being a ladies man and he is totally badass in battles and what not.
    Least Fave character: Cloud FFVII too overated he is such an emo xC, I swear if he was alone at all in the game he would take his buster sword and saw his arm off with it.
     
    It's really hard for me to choose because I like both Tidus and Jehct.
    I know it's weird to like Tidus because he's kind of annoying, but I really love the story behind Tidus and Jehct.

    Overall, Jehct is totally badass.

    My least favorite? Carth from Knights of the Old Republic LOL.

    Vito Scaletta from Mafia II. He is awesome and badass, and badass characters are cool.

    Current Favorite for Gameplay Reasons: Flying Fortress Falcoknight Florina (Fire Emblem)

    Current Favorite for Story Reasons: Three way tie between Ri Kohran (Sakura Taisen), Fallen Angel Flonne (Disgaea), and Every Girl in Gensokyo (Touhou Project).

    Least Favorite: Err... N/A
     
    I can't come to any single conclusion about protagonists, but Nier from Nier is definitely up there. He's just an old man staying alive so he can make sure his daughter has a good life, and helps other people in their times of need. He's much more "iffy" in New Game+ thoughTo be honest, all of the protagonists in Nier are great.

    My least favorite character is Bishop Ladja from Dragon Quest V. I've never actually had this much disgust and contempt towards an antagonist until I met him. However, my hatred towards him also made him one of the best antagonists. He doesn't have any particular reason for doing what he did, he was just following orders.

    -Wario (Super Mario Land 2 and Wario games)
    -Kane (Command & Conquer:Tiberian Dawn, Red Alert 1, Tiberian Sun and C&C 3, although it sucks how EA completely destroyed his character in "C&C" 4)
    -Toni Cipriani (He was a bad-ass and had a charming sarcastic humor to him in GTA: Liberty City Stories, although he was kind of a fat d**che in GTA III)

    Least favorites
    -Tingle (LoZ: Majora's Mask, and yes, I agree...he looks very creepy and really gay in that green uniform and bright red briefs...prancing about whenever you inquire about buying a map from him.
    -Everyone in Red Alert 3 (let's face it, Red Alert 3 was a total mockery of the Command & Conquer name, moreso than C&C 4)
    -Bubble Bobble (Barney's slightly-smarter cousin, a dinosaur that gets romantic with a human girl named Judy in the second game and drinks root beer)
     
    Favorite?

    That would have to be Cynthia(Shirona), Adeku, Luigi, Geo Stelar(Subaru), Solo(Bly), and Omega-Xis(War-Rock).

    Because Megaman Starforce owns with me, most recent league champs are badass and sexy(only Cynthia), and Luigi is obvious.

    Least favorites:

    Only one person comes to mind.

    Cheren. Number one, he is a smartass and he's a pain in the butt to battle. Number two, he always shows up when I least expect him to. And Number three.

    FF1's generic white mage, Half-Life's Gordon Freeman and G-Man, Portal's GLaDOS, TF2's Heavy, Medic, and Spy, Golden Sun's Mia, the guy from Shadow of the Colossus, Red, Blue, Gold, Starcraft's Jim Raynor, Left 4 Dead 1's entire cast, Left 4 Dead 2's Coach and Nick, Link, Mario, and Samus. I think that's all of them, but I'm probably missing a few. I don't really dislike any characters that I can think of.
