2nd Gen Favorite Location

    Johto is filled with some of my personal favorite locations in the Pokemon universe. My question to you is where is your favorite place in Johto? You can pick a city, route, anything!

    Mine is Goldenrod City. I feel like it is where all the action is! :3
     
    I liked Ecruteak City a lot, as well as Violet City. For their atmosphere, colors, towers and music. Also the route and areas between Ruins of Alph and Azalea Town were nice!
     
    For me it is the bug contest area! I loved this game so I feel great in this park. A random detail too, near the park there is a small grass aptch with a trainer who has a Venonat. I used to battle a lot with this kid!
     
    Probably Goldenrod City, it's one of my favorite cities in Johto and it's got a lot of cool stuff to check out. It's very pretty as well! The music, too, is super chill and I enjoy it a ton.
     
    Ecruteak, hands down. It's such a beautiful City. Plus it's where you get Surf, you encounter Ho-Oh and the Legendary Dogs, and it has a Ghost-type gym! What's not to love?

    Goldenrod comes a close second, purely for sheer volume of things to see and do.
     
    Mahogany Town and Blackthorn City are my two favorites. Ecruteak and Goldenrod are amazing too.
     
    The Lake of Rage. I think the name is just plain cool. I like Gyarados as a pokemon and was taken by his dramatic plotline at the mysterious lake. This lake is historic also because it was the introduction for many people to shinies. It also brings you closer to Lance, a charismatic champion that the anime doesn't do enough to showcase.

    Another place I like to visit is the Dragon's Den in Blackthorn City. It is a quiet, reflective place, spiritual and private. You get the gift of dratini here, who evolves into yet another of my favorite pokemon. Also in HG/SS you get to know your rival better and form an alliance in this space, as well as feast your eyes on the awesome combined powers of Clair and Lance.

    Based on these two places I hope you are catching on that I love dragon imagery :)

    Yeah the National Park was really nice c: I felt like it was a part of Goldenrod in a way.

    That's a great picture and sums up the beauty of the Johto Region. My favorite place in Johto I would have to say is around Bell Tower. I just love how peaceful it seems, and I know that it's still just a video game, but it still gives off a good vibe and brings back many great memories. They've also had probably the best remakes in the Pokemon franchise with HeartGold and SoulSilver.

    Cianwood is just so relaxing and I've always loved the atmosphere on that small island. I think the music fits it perfectly and overall it just has a really nice layout.
     
    Goldenrod, there was a lot going on there, and it was near the day-care and the bug-catching contest.
