I hope I'm not alone when it comes to this, but one of my favorite aspects of the Pokemon game series is the unique cries of each different Pokemon. Obviously the first Generation was a tad bit repetitive, but they were still some pretty damn awesome (and strangely memorable) noises.

My favorite cry of all time would have to be either Nidoking or Ampharos. Nidoking's sounds like the perfect cry of a behemoth-type Pokemon, which fits his appearance well. Ampharos' is is just badass lol it's so cool and catchy... I really don't know how to explain it.

What's everybody else's, if you have any?

Nidoking is pretty cool too though, for the reason stated in the OP.

Charizard and Rhyhorn. Lol, they're the same. And Charizard is one of my favourites, whilst Rhyhorn evolves into 2 of my favourite pokemon. Hence it's a bad-ass cry.

Kricketune is weird though. But cool-weird.

Hmmm, Pokémon cries seem to be heard in every generation, right? In that case, I'm just going to move this over to Pokémon General Gaming where it's better suited to cover all the games.

I really like Mesprit's cry though. It's one of the few that doesn't sound like a computer noise or anything.

I like Jolteon's cry. Can't really describe it, but I guess since it's my favorite Pokemon I've grown to like it.
Also Kricketune's, because he will deeleelee WHOOOOOOOOP! you and everything you love.

I'm surprised no one's mentioned Chatot yet...

What, no Spiritomb? I like it because it's really one of the more unique cries. If you listen closely, it sounds like someone's asking "Hello?" It's freaky.

I like Palkia's cry. Sounds like some kinda growl of a powerful being followed by some space sounds or something...epic. xD

Lugia's cry is a little addicting.

And backwards it sounds like someone going "Oh meow!"

Personally, my favorite cry is Furret's. It was my favorite ever since I first heard it back in my days of playing Silver, and it remains my favorite to this day.

Kricketune's just scares me. I just know it will be the last sound to echo across the world before it is destroyed.
