    How can you help?

    Come talk to me! Quote me to make sure I see you! Ask me what vegetable I ate today. Ask me what exercises I did and when. Tell me to get on the scale and check my weight, I'm not shy! Ask me what the last few things I bought were, how much they were, why I needed them. Ask me if I've been eating crap- sweets, food processed to hell, alcohol, whatever. I tend to go for a lower-calorie diet so ask how I'm doing with that!

    What kind of food do you buy now that you think you'll remove from your shopping list in order to achieve your goal?

    Okay so the thing about me- I go shopping with great intentions but I am easily distracted and prone to impulse buying lmfao. But I usually don't buy much bad stuff! My fiancé gets cereal and pasta and soup for himself, but I don't eat those. I generally buy eggs and fruit for myself. And the occasional vegetable. We don't buy bread or anything. I live simply. BUT the biggest no-no we buy is frickin. Frozen pizza. They're too cheap and too easy. I think I'm gonna cut those out and just. Make Ian get something else haha. And stop it with the brie and crackers? The brie is fine but eating it plain is gross so I buy crackers and then... I eat crackers. Also I definitely need to take M&Ms off our subscribe and save shipments what am I DOING even.

    okay so! what I need to do is! cancel frozen pizza and brie and m&ms. Good start okay!

    Do you plan your meals ahead of time? One of the things I've learned from running a grocery store and studying how people make their choices, is there are ultimately 2 types of shoppers. A lot of people will come into the store, probably with good intentions, but don't really have any meals planned so they shop impulsively. They buy what looks good, whats quick, and whats familiar. And then you have the people that will only buy products for meals they intend to make and nothing more.

    Planning meals is something I'm going to do to help with my grocery shopping. I feel like with a plan I can track my nutrition and stuff much easier, and stay away from the impulse buys, instead of just buying a ton of random crap and eating whatever whenever. I used to get frozen pizzas, too, but then one day I looked at the calories and sodium and was just like...never again.

    Okay so this is some goals I want to accomplish too! I'll follow you for sure :)

    I've started getting heartburn from most frozen pizzas and im like oh god why lmao

    I don't really plan meals, no, but I also don't really. Eat meals, you know? I buy my basic ingredients (fresh or frozen veggies, fruit, eggs, maybe some other protein like fish) and then... that's all I eat. Coffee (well, half coffee and half cream) and fruit for breakfast, eggs and vegetable for lunch, and ... pizza... for dinner lol is usually how it goes. I don't like to cook at all so I just do that? I think it's fine, I just have to not... look at sales...

    thanks mawa babe <3

    Have you thought about sushi? Before you go "ewww" and complain about eating raw fish, they do have sushi with cooked fish and veggie sushi which are good and good for you. ;)

    I do actually like sushi, which surprised me haha. I think I'd eat it if I went out or something, but I'm trying to avoid carbs and rice is a big part of it. :> I do have to remember that though, because it's often a much better alternative than a lot of things on the menu at restaurants. ;P

    Hmmm that is a good question. We plan on going out for dinner but I'm kind of attached to the idea of a nice salad? Or a side of mixed vegetables? I'm not sure what lunch is going to be like and I have an aversion to vegetables for breakfast lol it does not seem Right

    Do youo know Pinterest? There's a lot of amazing recipes on this website!! You can save all the recipes you want to try!

    I really like Pintrest but I also hate cooking ahaha. ^^;

    So an update so far- I bought $30 worth of new clothes because my wardrobe has been seriously depleted since I got fat. I shares one scoop of frozen custard with my mom, and had a small bag of popcorn with no butter and a diet coke with grenadine at a movie. Going out to dinner I hope there will be some healthy options.
    I had a tomato and lettuce earlier on my lunch so? Vegetable? And some blueberries? I made good choices like a chicken sandwich instead of a burger! And no alcohol, and buying only sale items. ^^;

    Tracking stuff is too much. Just do what I do and drink solely water. Yep.

    But, I am glad that even though you are fat, you actually do something about it. Fat acceptance is not something I condone, but I always respect a fat person who chooses to do something about it. People who get to be 500 pounds have no self control, and I'd make sure to lose weight well before that.

    Anyway Aqua, good luck on the resolution. As always, it's not the resolution that matters, but actually doing it that does.

    A new day, a new vegetable! What's your healthy meal of the day going to be? :)
    My vegetable ended up being in the form of a really nice and fancy winter squash salad and a cup of roasted brussel sprouts and onions. I forgot how much I like the latter; I should cook it at home again. :D

    @Noni I find it better personally to track like this, because I think all the time like "do I want to have to tell PC I was bad?" haha. And tbh I'm alright with people who are bigger and don't care bc it's their choice, you know? If you're overall really healthy but overweight then it's not a big deal imo. It's when you feel bad about yourself because of your body that change needs to happen, whatever that change is. Thanks for the well wishes~

    0, it's 0. It's not necessarily overweight that is the issue for me, but the eating so much and not caring for your health. That's why when people try to change, I respect that.

    I used to like brussel sprouts. Been years since I had some.

    I used to haaaate brussel sprouts as a kid bc people always boiled them? Instead of roasted or fried which are 300x better.

    Today is another day of some walking and going out to eat! Grandpa spoils us too much lol. But I think I've been doing okay with my choices!

    What did you end up eating? Is that bit of walking counting towards your cardio? :) When do you plan to get your strength exercise out of the way for the week?

    We have yet to do dinner but lunch was a cup of split pea and ham soup and some carrots (vegetable!). But we went on a brewery tour (walking, stairs) so I had 12oz of beer and we shared a cheese & brat board amongst four of us as a snack.

    It's kind of hard to do what I would normally do for exercise right now because I've been away from home since the 21st and won't be back till the 1st but I intend to go swimming tomorrow or Friday so that's like. Cardio and strength considering I will be throwing siblings around the pool :P
