Ready for Christmas, Delibird prepared presents for all of the boys and girls in the world. Delibird was ready. This was his chance to show the world that he could be generous and that he could perform the job that was bestowed upon him by his ancestors.
It was time. Delibird woke up early that day and drove down to the town's square. The streetlights were still on and the moon was still out. He got everything set up in preparation for his duties.
9:00am. Children from all over the country came to the square to visit Delibird and tell him how good they've been, in hopes that they'd get a present. "There were enough presents for everybody," he thought confidently.
For 12 hours straight, Delibird gleefully met with every child individually and handed out presents with joy and happiness. Children walked away happy and excited from their visit with Delibird.
Delibird went home that day and phoned his parents. "I did it," he said enthusiastically. He was exhausted. Today was his day and he nailed it, without hesitation. Everyone worldwide praised him for his efforts. There was even a ceremony dedicated to Delibird in Celadon Mall.
