I have not reached the point in the game where you learn of them, but due to tumblr and such I do know of them. I like Meulin and Porrim so far.

My favorite dancestors are gosh Idk they are so awesome all of them. Well I don't like Aradia's dancestor much, she's creepy. Latula x Mituna might be the cutest thing in existence, apart from Meulin and Nepeta when they meet in the ministrife flash. And also when Cronus and Eridan flirt with each other ahahahhaha

But yeah, Mituna without his helmet is so cute. Pity he got messed up like that. I'd like to hear him and Kurloz chat.

RD: I wonder if it'll be called "Homestuck" or maybe "Homestuck: blabla" something.
RD: Homestuck is the comic so he can't name it the exact same thing, right?
RD: but also he probably wants to call it Homestuck to get the brand out.
RD: I sort of wish that Homestuck will become more well known when a game comes out, not for the crazy cosplayers (they define the Homestuck fandom now, apparently) but for being an actual interesting game.

IT: Welp, anyways, since RD just mentioned the newsflash, I think the most I can say is that I'm excited for the game.
IT: And curious about that other secret project.
IT: ...And totally getting the Dave vinyl figure. amg it's perfect
IT: Anyways, back to the game: I wouldn't be if it wasn't just Homestuck ; The Game or something. Of course, calling it that sounds kinda like a table-top game... never mind. I'm super intrigued with it now that he mentioned how he's writing a lot of plot for it.
IT: Well, when it does become a game, it should definitely garner attention, if not in sales then by reviewers/GameInformer-or-something/whatnot. So I guess it's a look in a positive new direction.
IT: I think the hardest part though would be trying to sell the game to a person who a] hasn't seen/read Homestuck or b] didn't like it because it was complicated or something the first time.
IT: That's actually the problem I'm having with making my RP.
IT: Making something like Homestuck appeal to everyone, like people who don't want to invest time in reading it or find it too weird or whatever, but still preserving the original idea, is a hefty challenge.
IT: So like, if Hussie just wants to appeal to the readers, cool.
IT: But it makes me wonder if he'll try to grab those who haven't read yet.
IT: ...not like he he doesn't have a pretty big fanbase already, but you know what I mean.

RD: I tried to do like that with my Homestuck-inspired RPs, it wasn't easy ;;
RD: mostly I think Homestuck just is difficult to turn into a forum RP because the interaction happens through special chats and it's difficult to make everyone understand the setting and mechanics with Lands, Gates, Kernelsprites and whatnot.
RD: had loads of fun with the first iteration of Checkmate though :3

Well, this sure is dead! How about we start a RP within this club? Like, we create simple characters based on ourselves (probably) and use the chumhandles and pesterlogs to RP a SBURB session (or SGRUB and be trolls perhaps?) with dialogue only. Random chain order. If people feel like they'd be up for it? :p Regular text can be OOC.

Hussie, your gigapause is killing the fandom ;; or at least for me who isn't active on tumblr. Are you guys visiting many Homestuck tumblrs regularly? What are your favorites?
 
Sure! Although I'll probably use Ryan anyways. I think it'll be tough to fully RP the whole thing in pesterlogs though, but it should be interesting.

Haven't been on tumblr since... forever. @_@

WELCOME so late, very sorry for that. I've been neglecting this club because of Hussie's antics, or rather the lack of them -.-

Since this post was made, like, a week ago - have you caught up now? :3 Marathoning Homestuck can get you far in one week, haha.
 
I'm in act 6 act 5 now!!! Im so excited to see what happened to Jade and John in that weird spaceship thingy...
