You should replace the
magenta words with
yellow. My reasoning?
Primary &
Secondary colours FTW (not the art ones, the light, mind you)!
Edit: Apparently, I forgot that orange is a secondary colour, not pink/magenta .
Edit #2: I KNOW SCIENCE AND WASN'T COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY WRONG ABOUT COLOURS nope!
Actually, cyan, magenta, and yellow are the primary colors, and red, blue, and green are secondary. Close enough.
(Also, I was right too.)
I think you'll find with printer ink you are correct, but in art, primary colours are pure red pure yellow and pure blue
... But it's light that we're talking about. Sort of. I ended up combining the two of them since cyan doesn't exist on here.
Oh wait.
Cyan. This isn't what I expected it to be.
My entire logic behind my magical colour scheme was that since there was no cyan, I would just combine art and light. I only checked "DeepSkyBlue" since I thought that it was going to be cyan, but when it wasn't, I assumed there was none.
And some residual memory of Volume Six of the Pokémon Adventures manga. Thanks, translation error.
Definitely not my day today! Three mistakes in one post ...
Can I throw some more "Light" on this discussion :P.
In Art the Primary Colours = Yellow, Red, Blue, while Secondary Colours = Orange (Yellow + Red), Purple (Red + Blue), Green (Blue + Yellow), as everyone knows.
But are u sure about Light, coz I think in Light Primary Colours = Red, Green, Blue & Secondary Colours = Magenta (Red + Blue), Cyan (Blue + Green), Yellow (Green + Red) & the two tertiary colours = White & Black
What u're talking about are Subtractive colours where Cyan, Magenta & Yellow are the primaries, while Red, Blue & Green are the secondaries.
Cyan reflects/transmits Green & Blue, absorbs Red
Magenta reflects/transmits Blue & Red, absorbs Green
Yellow reflects/transmits Red & Green, absorbs Blue
