Fire Emblem: New Adventures in Elibe

OOC: Yeah... But oh well....
BIC: The lavender eyed Caelin turned, and looked at her companions. She wondered what they'd think if they found that out abou her. Was it her weakness? She wasn't sure.

OOC: Wasn't Hector supposed to meet us in that room before we left? :P Give me a couple more days and I'll be over my RPers block. My mind needs to recuperate from getting out of school a little more =P

BIC: Ayrix turned and walked out of the room, glad to not see the weapons anymore. In the past few days he had seen more swords and axes and blood and death than he would have ever cared to see, especially since some of it was wrought by himself. I don't care if Armads was in that room...it's fascinating to see that amazing weapon, a weapon which has helped to save Elibe twice, but it's still sad. I hate the Black Fang just as anyone, but I can't help feel sorry for all those who have died at times...am I too weak? I'll have to stop this thinking if I myself am supposed to do the killing...

"Oh, sorry I'm late, folks! I have some important information for you all, as well as some gifts!" They all looked to see Hector shouting the words, running down the hallway flanked by two guards who carried bulging sacks in their hands...

Reane turned, suprised at Hector's out burst.
The girl didn't know what to say...
But hoped she wouldn't embaress herself.

OOC: I'm really lazy looking up at the pages...can anyone tell me what happened? ^_^;

EDIT OOC: Never mind... now I got it! XD

"Where am I supposed to be..." Oni muttered. He was lost in the streets and was left out thanks to the excitment.
"I think they're in the castle." HE headed off into the castle armory.

She noticed the bulging sacks, and now wondered what was in them.
Presents? How strange...
Then, her thoughts shifted to something else, something she had just realized.
Wait... My brother... No one ever said they found his body... Just that he was dead, killed... My mother's body was recovered... So... Maybe.... He's still alive?
The girl thought hopefully, her eyes now closed in thought.

Oni opened the door to the armory.

"There you guys are!" He said and sighed with releif. He noticed something. "Oh yeah, isn't Lord Hector supposed to give us gifts?"

Reane noticed Oni come in, and greeted him with a small smile, then absently turned around and looked at the rest of her companions.

OCC: I'm sorry For not posting for a long time... UNLESS EVERYONE IGNORES ME!
IC: "We Don't really need gifts.... Unless they are weapons.... Yeah They are we are in the armory I forgot..... Can I have a runesword? Or maybe a silver sword?"
Drago looked out the window as he saw the sun go down.

Hector laughed when he heard Drago. "No, I can't spare anything that good, but I do have weapons for each of you. I admit I know no information about these rogue bandits, but I'm sure my spies will have me informed soon enough. You're the best defense we have at the moment because you know the most about them, not to mention that you're all prodigious fighters. I wish you all the best."

Hector grinned and beckoned his servants forward. They came, and on bended knee opened the bags. "That being said, it is my pleasure to arm you all with new weapons." He knelt down, reaching into the first bag.

"I have something for everyone...if it doesn't suit your fighting style I'll be happy to find something that does, though..." He pulled out a sword.

"Lord Tear! I have here for you a Steel Sword."

"Reane! I have here for you a Longbow."

"Druid Ayrix! I found this Nosferatu tome lying around in a storage room...this ought to suit you."

"Oni! Here, take a pair of Killing Edges. They ought to work out for you."

"And you, Drago, here is a Steel Sword for you as well."

"Did I miss anyone?" Ayrix bowed on one knee after receiving his Nosferatu tome from Hector. He thought this would come in very handy...he had a tendency to become weak in battle--this ought to counteract that.

Reane's eyes sparkled as she recieved the Longbow.
I always wanted one of these... Now I'll be able to shoot a great distance.... I hope that will help my friends...
"Thank you, Lord Hector." The girl thanked the man as she examined it.
Along with swordplay, she enjoyed archery, perhaps even more than the use of the sword...
She knew that most Lords, or Ladies, preffered swords to the bow, but she actually preffered it, since it wasn't as bloody.
OOC: Please look at the sprite I edited to look like Reane in my profile.
Thanks guys!

OOC: Awesome sprite! I ought to make one for myself, but I seriously doubt it would look as good since all I have to work with is MS Paint @_@

BIC: Ayrix looked around at his comrades and their new weapons. He pocketed his Nosferatu, bowed greatfully, and stepped back to examine Reane and Tear's weapons. I just hope I never have to use this...but if my pursuers catch up with me, I'll have no choice. I'm just glad I have people to protect me now...

Reane sensed someone, and looked up.
Noticing it was Ayrix, examining her new bow, she smiled then looked back down at the weapon.
A sudden thought struck her, a reminder that she had to go get the rest of her supplies.
Thank Saint Elimne I remembered...
Thankful that she remembered to do that, quickly, without anyone noticing, she swept out of the room.
OOC: If I spelled that name wrong, sorry! ^^;
EDIT: My 2,000th post! Coolness!^^

Tear accepted the gift kindly, but was rather astonished at Hector's great kindness, for being such a large, gruff-looking man.
He's a brute, no doubt about that, but he has a heart of gold!
He admired the weapon in it's royal sheath, and then attached it to his belt across from the other sword Hector gave him, so he had a sword on each side.
"We give you our most humble gratitude Lord Hector! You are truly one of the greatest men I've had the honor to meet."
He reached out his hand and shook it with Hector's mighty one.
"However, I'm sure we must be on our way. Anymore gifts and I'm not sure I'll be able to move!" He laughed, as he rested his hands on each of his sword shafts.
Hector smiled, and motioning for several servants behind him, he began to speak to the group.
"Your journey will be a long one, so we have prepared rations for each of you. It's been a pleasure to have you in my kingdom. More fun then I have had in years!" He said, with a rolling laugh following.
"I'm positive you will be able to conquer whatever obstacle may block your path.
.....and with that, farewell!"
He nodded, as the group headed back for the door.
Just before Tear exited however, Hector rushed up to him.
"Tear! I have.... something I want you to give to Emiru."
Tear looked down at a steel sword in a sheath, wrapped with a light blue bow.
Jewels were encrested in it's handle in a splendid design. Tear gazed at the sword, and slowly took it from him, as he raised his head back up to meet Hector.
"Tell her, it's a gift from her parents. They are really worried about her, and have questioned me many times of her whereabouts, once during your stay. Although I now know she is in your company, I have yet to tell her parents.... in fact, I mean not to. She needs peace and time to be free from her homeland, and I believe that path is with you and your companions, Tear. They sent this sometime ago, but I've never had the chance to send it to her. Be sure to give her this."
Tear smiled, and held it carefully, as he began to walk away.
He really is a great man...He thought.

Taking up her pack, Reane departed from the room, and went out to seek her friends, hoping they hadn't left already.
I hope I can find Emiru, maybe I can talk to her a bit more...
The girl thought as she caught up with the others, never pausing to take her hood off.
This hood will stay on. Why should I even take it off? I can feel miserable without anyone seeing, no one has to see my true feelings.... Besides, it's not like any of the people I am traveling with would want to see how I am feeling....

"Lord Tear, if we have no more business in Ostia I suggest we go to the mountains between Bern and Sacae...Bulgar wouold be a good place to get to for now. If we can get to there, there's bound to be more people who know about the Taliver Bandits. I'm sure the nomads know something; the bandits are supposed to raid their camps regularly..." Ayrix knew it was dangerous, but the farther away from Etruria he was the better. It would be a long time before any of those who hunted him decided to check Sacae. Even though it was dangerous, it would be a great hiding place...

OOC: I made a custom Ayrix sprite...not the way I wanted it to come out, but it's a start! (I wish I could have gotten the cloak black and still make it look good, so I just used Canas's cloak color for now.

OOC: Oh! Cool Ayrix sprite! I should try making one of Tear too.....
Sometime hehe...

Tear lead the group to the healing house, where their belongings lay. As they each schuffled through their possesions, Tear came by his old Pharean outfit. He inspected the several holes and tears in it, as he tossed it around it in his hands.
"It's junk," he said, quietly to himself. "But I just don't have the heart to throw it away. It's a memory of my past....."
He dropped his pack onto his bed, and, gently folding it, put the suit inside.
"There," He said, strapping his pack onto his back once more. "I'm ready to go!"

Tear listened to Ayrix's comment, and agreed.
"That would make sense. Though I'm sure our road will become harder in that direction, it's the best place to find out about these bandits.."

Reane stopped, for Tear had come into the room, followed by everyone else.
So, she simply stood by the door, and waited.
While waiting, she saw Tear hold up his Pharean outfit, then put it away.
It must have brung back memories... The girl stood there, eyes closed in thought.
OOC: Yeah, it's kewl! ^^

Ayrix grabbed his sack of items and sat down on a wooden bench. "I'm ready whenever you all are." He said. He stared at the outside of the room, sunlight shining in the doorway. At least today will be cheerful...I don't know about tomorrow or any day after today...

OOC: I'm working on a cloaked Reane one right now.. ._.
BTW, you can sort of tell Reane is.... Um, in... A sad state. XD

BIC: Reane stood, heard Ayrix comment 'I'm ready whenever you all are.'
Her eyes remained closed as she waited for the others.
