Discord's a dragon too, but a different type, and yet his name's included in the image, so it can't be racism against dragons.
 
MLP fandom needs to show more Spike love tbh. xD Hopefully in Season 5 there's more of that, and we can also see more of Spike being a hero just like how he was in Season 3's opener!

Isn't Discord part dragon though?
 
Hey guys! Would it be okay to join in on the discussion? I've recently gotten back into watching FiM and I'm kinda itching to talk about it.

Username: MilkFlavored but you can call me Milk.
Your Favorite Pony of the Mane 6: Twilight Sparkle.
Additional Information: Well, I've been a MLP fan since I was tiny. Always adored My Little Pony, so naturally I fell into the idea of FiM quite easily! First heard about it years ago on Deviantart when I saw some people posting artwork of it on the front page. I remember thinking to myself, "Oh, there's a new MLP season? Wow that's cool I should go watch it." And I promptly stayed up for a few hours that night shoveling my face with Doritos and watching the first few episodes of FiM. Needless to say, I really enjoyed it! Uhm, my favorite pony changes actually, but I think I might be set on Twilight this time. I can relate to her, and I enjoy the fact that she became an alicorn as well as a princess as time went on. I always knew she would be since day 1.

Also, the season finale was pretty neat. I really enjoyed Discord being around and the designs for the 'Rainbowfied' ponies.
Might have to draw me some Rainbowfied Twilight Sparkle sometime!

Welcome, Milk! I really adore Twilight Sparkle and how far she has come during Season 4. We've all seen her grow up from a little filly with a gift to becoming one of Equestria's princesses. I can relate to her so well with her love of books, like for example, I went to the public library just yesterday, picking out a lot of books :D. I'm also very studious as well, just like her.

It's also nice that you enjoy her being an Alicorn as well, I do as well! I wasn't fond at first, but the show writers did extremely well in adding in her flaws and expressing them in every episode during Season 4.

Here is a strange question for everyone, if you are or are not an artist.

Have you ever stopped and looked at Derpibooru or with MLP image boards and see the explicit artwork of your favorite characters? This is for those who do not draw or do commissions.

I, on the other hand/hoof do draw and there is times where I am asked to draw 'My Little Porny' (Thats the actual name); even commissioned to draw this.... and most of the time, my kindhearted and gentle nature goes against this and I cancel out. Does one who draws feels this way?

I mean, I've had some nasty and cruel words thrown at me because of this, but I can't see Pinkie Pie and a non-pony (ahem, human) doing the nasty (I am being very censor-like since I do not want to break the PC Rules); its just against my nature and mindset, plus that is straight-up bestiality/zoophilla. :\

Does anyone think I am in the wrong for cancelling out on the commission and what's your opinion on the matter (forgive me if this is a strange topic question, I am just curious and in need to get this off my chest).

Ohh yes. I absolutely adore what they've done with Twilight Sparkle and her character development. To think that she used to be an anti-social bookworm unicorn who was very hesitant about making friends.. and now she's a lovely alicorn princess with five irreplaceable friends and bonds like no other! It's just amazing what all she's been through to get where she is now.

Also, 'Princess of Friendship'. Worthy title, if you ask me!

Absolutely and 100% not wrong for deciding against drawing that. Here's the thing, hun.
You are the artist, you draw the art, you have your own tastes and your own preferences in everything you create. If the art you're commissioned to do is not tasteful, something you disagree with, or just too much for you, you have absolutely every right to deny it. Because it doesn't matter how much you're paid, how much you're begged, in the end, you are the artist. You're the one who has to deal with creating that piece and the one who has to stare at it for the length of your working time.

If you don't wish to do it, that's not your fault. So don't blame yourself for it, okay?

I feel like that part of the fandom is a bit unnecessary anyway. >>;

Thanks for the boost of morale, I needed it. Surprisingly in my downtime, I've been reading Fallout: Equestria and somewhat making my own variant of that with my storywriting. I might share it on here if anyone would like to see some.

As an artist you have an absolute right to refuse any commission that's not up to your standard. It's not hurtful to say no, but if the person asking for the commission thinks so, they're wrong. As an artist, you set your own rules, and you set your standards. If I were to become a good artist, I'd do exactly the same thing. You did the right thing, don't worry. Proceed to other commissions as you like, but stay away from the ones that are just....ugh no *shivers*.

September of this year, according to this. Looks like it's going to be shown in theatres just like the first one.
 
Thanks for the support and feedback, everyone. I'm glad I have some positive support for a once in my life (I am not discounting anyone here, but personally (irl) I have little positive support.

A little personal side, I got my name changed to Cadance a couple of days ago (yay!). And yep, it is based on the Princess. :3 However, before deciding on the change, I began to do research on all the MLP alts and names that may be taken here. All of the Mane 6 pony names are taken, sadly. Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo are taken in 2012 and cannot be taken until after a couple of years. The only names that are available for name changes are the following: Luna, Celestia, and Apple Bloom. Just in case anyone is looking to change to an MLP-ish name! My first intention was Apple Bloom, but I really like Cadance, so I went for that instead.

Wanted to give a new topic to keep the club going, yeah? :3 Anyone got a favorite PMV? (Pony Music Video)

Mine is this one! I've been watching loads of them lately, but this one was the best. :)

Its alright, and in all honestly.... no, I do not know; however deviantArt should have something like that floating around in its Flash category.

Just type in 'MLP:FiM Griffon Maker' and it should give you something. I can't say it will, since dA has been having issues with my laptop's DNS address as of late. It loads, then the site just 404s on me (oddly, its the only one that does).

The soft side of the music is really relaxing and it does make you feel much better. Here's one that my bf linked to me before and it is by far one of the most soothest, most relaxing songs I have ever listened to. It's my favorites.



I haven't divulged much in the electronic side of it, but I really want to. lol
