There are currently 720 Pokemon that have (officially) been released. That's a lot of Pokemon. And in this game, we're going to do the impossible. The unthinkable. We're going to go through every single one!

Essentially, think of this as a counting game. Post a number, along with the corresponding Pokemon from the national dex. To make it more fun, post a comment about the Pokemon in your post as well. It could be anything. Here's an example:

Oh god, I remember these things from the Abandoned Power Plant. So annoying.

Does surprisingly good in NU battles.

#102 Exeggcute

Oh yea, that one egg Pokemon that was so hard to catch in the Safari Zone -_-

Once we reach the last Pokemon in the national dex, we'll start over at Bulbasaur.

I think Squirtle is pretty good for a starter, no wonder Gary chose one.

Always makes me think of that firefighting episode of the anime :)

One of the best megas around, looks horrible as a shiny though.

#10. Caterpie, the cutest little pokemon ever in the anime. Oh why did you have to evolve so soon? And only to be released later on in your final evolution.

Using Harden since 1996.

The Pokémon that should've been Venonat's evolution.

A cute little bug Pokémon

Fairly good if you play it right, and one of the cooler designs from the originals.

My least favorite Normal/Flying type Pokemon

Reminds me of Ash Ketchum, and pigeons. I keep spelling it "pidgeon", all thanks to this one.
