Gender: Female

Appearance: Ashley just about scrapes the height of 5'8, her long, black hair framing her face, which she wears loose and usually just brushed off to one side, behind her ear, reaching down to just above the small of her back. Her build is slim, but athletic, always taking an extremely active part in gym class and even going to a self-defense class for about a year. She has a fair skin tone, though nowhere near pale, and a naturally gloomy sort of expression on her face, which stays put, even when she smiles and generally acts cheerfully, which could lead some people to believe that she was just faking her happiness, until they actually got to know her.

The girl usually prefers to wear a mixture of red, black and white clothes, but never really leaning towards any specific sort of dresscode, other than having preferred colours. Generally, she enjoys having her legs free, and you won't often see her in jeans, rather than either in a pair of shorts or a skirt, either with long socks or leggings underneath. She also enjoys wearing a type of half-jacket or something similar to it, on top of a t-shirt or some other kind of top. Ashley doesn't bother with any kind of makeup except for a light bit of mascara to make her eyelashes seem just a tiny bit longer and generally because Ashley thinks that it suits her really nicely.

History: At the age of 7, Ashley and her family moved to the capital city of Concord, New Hampshire, USA, from further down south. The young girl had begged, pleaded, shouted at and generally harassed her parents about moving to a completely new home, but the parents were tired of a shoddy little appartment and wanted something more... open and friendly for their little daughter. Cue the family moving to a small house in the suburbs, much to the young girl's dismay. However, it didn't take long for her to warm up to the rather large back yard they had, complete with a treehouse that the previous owners apparently didn't bother taking down before moving away.

However, as she was exploring the garden of their new home, she noticed a small hole in the fence at the very corner of the garden, deciding to peek through into the backyard of the neighbouring house. She saw a young, red-headed girl, more or less the same age as her, playing with some of her toy horses. However, as she noticed Ashley, the black-haired girl quickly pulled back through the fence and ran back into her house.

A few days later, when school started, Ashley was put into the second grade of the local school, and was surprised to see the red-haired girl she had seen the other day was sitting next to her. It only took the two until the end of lunch break to become friends, very quickly connecting to one another, with Ashley being interested in finding a new friend in this foreign place and the red-haired girl, named Rachel, seeming happy to just have a friend, period.

The years went by and the two got along better and better with each passing day, visiting each other, playing in their yards and even making Ashley's new treehouse into their hang-out spot. However, around the age of nine, Rachel was suddenly taken out of the school the two were going to, much to the confusion and worry of Ashley when she came to school the day after, having been sick on the day of the incident. She visited her friend as soon as she got home, but her parents sent her away. That didn't deter the girl, however, and she climbed through the hole in the fence that the two had managed to keep hidden from their parents so far.

She found Rachel, scared and worried and asked her friend what was the matter. Rachel jerked at the sound of her voice and told her to stay away from her. Ashley was going to get to the bottom of this, though, and proceeded to get closer, which resulted in Rachel trying to push herself to a stand from the crouch she had been in, only for the ground she was standing on to freeze over, leaving the girl to slip and fall. Before she hit the ground however, Ashley had managed to catch her, almost slipping on the ice herself. The black-haired girl smiled down at her friend, Rachel tearing a little up as Ashley told her that no matter what was happening to her, she'd still be her friend.

Once Rachel's parents had found out that Ashley knew about their daughter's powers, they told Ashley's parents as well, allowing the two girls to continue seeing each other. While Rachel was being homeschooled, Ashley had to continue to go to the regular school, but the girl felt really bad for her friend, being basically unable to leave her house because some people might find her powers worrying. Ashley decided that having the powers of ice at your disposal was extremely cool and continued to try and goad her friend into mischief of all sorts.

However, Rachel could still not leave her house, which Ashley figured, must have been extremely boring for the girl. So, she did the best thing she could do, and decided to borrow her parents' video camera and basically constantly use it in her daily life to film (Or take pictures with her phone) what was going on in the town and the world around them, sharing what she had seen and found with the red-haired girl, which seemed to cheer her up, much to Ashley's own joy.

The two continued to grow up into a pair of young ladies, until Rachel recieved a letter from some kind of fancy boarding school, that her parents had agreed to send her to. Ashley was extremely sad that her friend was leaving, spending almost an entire day sulking in the treehouse while her friend was talking to her parents. However, that night, she was called down by her parents because of a letter that had arrived, adressed to her.

It was an invitation to the exact same school Rachel was going to, and her parents swore that they had nothing to do with it. That said, they were happy to send Ashley to the same school alongside her friend, leaving the girl smiling from ear to ear as she lept out of the door to go tell her friend the great news. Now, the two of them are on their way to the UK to join up with this supposed prestige-boarding school.

Ability name: Power-Copying

Explanation: Ashley is able to copy the powers of someone else she comes in contact with, as long as her skin connects to the other person's. After a brief draining of energy on both their parts (They should recover fully within a minute), Ashley has access to all of the other person's powers... and weaknesses.

Limitations: Aside from the brief energy drain, whenever Ashley copies someone else's powers, she can never be as efficient at using them as the original user. She can get close, but never surpass them. On top of that, when she first obtains someone else's ability, it's rather hard for her control, at least for a while, until she manages to tame her new abilities.

Full name: Hilda Gard

Age: 16

Appearance: Standing at 165 cm height and weighing 59 kg, Hilda is a not too tall girl with quite the nice curves. Ever since puberty started, she's had both a relatively round bum and generous bust. Her hair is blonde, fairly straight and reaches just above her shoulders. Her big, hazel eyes are most often accentuated by a thick layer of mascara and eyeliner, because without it Hilda feels bland with her blonde details. She colors her eyebrows dark with regular intervals.

For clothing, Hilda isn't the fanciest of girls. Her most common attires consist of baggy jeans (or slim ones if she feels like shaping up a bit) chucks and t-shirts with either a hooded shirt or simple canvas jacket over. Pink is a color she likes though. Pink and blue. She doesn't bother much with jewelry, apart from a golden locket on a chain around her neck and the occasional earrings.

History: Hilda grew up in a town in middle western Sweden. Her father worked as a car mechanic and her mother was a well liked head chef at a local restaurant. Hilda's older brother was already working with their father in the garage and their older sister was off studying in another city to become a chef like their mother. Hilda had a few years left before she'd better decide on what to do with her life. Both her parents (and siblings) wanted her to follow their paths.

On her 16th birthday, March 11th, Hilda awoke in the middle of the night. It was only a few days before she had to decide what gymnasium (~high school) she would go to, and she was nervous beyond belief. Should she build and repair things and lead a dirty life like her father and brother? Or should she cook and bake things and lead an overly clean life like her mother and sister? Or did she actually have the guts to choose something completely different?

She picked up a hammer and a beater that she had taken with her into the room for inspiration. She focused really hard, trying to make up her mind... And all of a sudden the two items in her hands seemed to blur before her eyes. Before she knew it, she didn't hold two items, but one. It still had a handle, but on one end of the stick there was a metal beater and on the other there was a plastic hammer. Hilda screamed and dropped the monstrosity on the floor. She didn't show it to her family though, and just said she had had a nightmare.

But the coming days, despite being a bit scared, Hilda was also excited enough to experiment and try to repeat what she had done. She managed, with really small and simple things at first and bigger and more complicated eventually. She could mix things, merge things... Cook weird stuff up from a recipe of simpler parts. Just by touching them and focusing on what she wanted to create. Or just focusing without a plan, for really odd results.

And on the day she would have to make her decision about what school to apply for, a letter came from Gilded Halls in Great Britain. Even though Hilda was hardly a bookbrain and had never really liked studying, she was suddenly adamant about applying for this boarding school. Her parents were a little bit disappointed at first, but her brother supported her decision to go her own way, even though he would miss her a lot. Hilda didn't explain completely to her parents what Gilded Halls might be about though - she only said what the invitation pretty much said: that it was for gifted young people. But she did tell her brother, and also her sister on the phone, about her strange ability and what she suspected Gilded Halls to be about. Her sister didn't believe her, which made Hilda sad, but she was able to display a "cooking session" for her brother and got his full support if she promised to call him as often as she could.

Ability name: Creative Alchemy, but "cooking" is what Hilda usually calls it.

Explanation: Hilda can touch several items of any kind and merge them into a new item with combined features from the original items. For example, a frying pan + a shirt could become a cotton frying pan. But it could also become a steel shirt. Or something else if she really focuses and needs something specific. Depending on how hard she focuses and how much time she spends on the alchemy process (usually it takes seconds but it could take minutes), she can end up with a random result or something very specific she was aiming for.

Limitations:
- At the start of the RP, she can still only focus on and merge 2 items into one. Eventually, she'll learn to merge 3 and maybe more, but it'll be a while. If ever.

- She can't alchemize humans or animals. Plants might work, but even that kind of life form is so complex that it's very difficult.

- At first, she won't be able to take an item she created previously and try to merge that with another item. Items she creates gain some sort of creative force within them, making it difficult for her to improve them further until she's learned to channel and control that creative force better. Later on, she might to some extent.

- There's no limit on how many items she can create per day or so. However, the more complex an item is, the more exhausted she'll feel after the alchemizing. Exhausted as in how you might feel after thinking hard for several hours on an exam, or something else that requires focus. Usually, what helps is sleep, but strangely also coffeine helps. Another likeness to how you feel when studying.

- Oh yeah, the items she alchemizes stay that way seemingly forever. If she accidentally merges two important things, too bad! Maybe at some point, she'll learn how to un-merge stuff but I think it'll be more fun if she simply can't xD​

No, but seriously though, it's been a while since I last was here, hahaha. But since school's soon over and I've gotten most things out of the way, I found that it was a good time to return to here! And since I absolutely still love the whole idea of Gilded Halls, I became pretty excited when I saw that it was in on its second run, so what the hell? Why not join up now?

Anyways, I'm now wondering if I can reserve a place in the meantime as I am unsure of whether or not I should make an entirely new character or just bring back Quinton.

Full name: Elias Cox

Age: 16

Appearance: Elias has the trademark short (with an extension likened to bangs in the front) white hair of his clan, said clan members famous for their hair turning a ghoulish opaque color once the children reach maturity. During school, he wears the proper uniform though while lounging in his room or roaming the campus, he can usually be seen in a black sweatshirt and pants. In his earlier days, he keeps his hands in the pockets of his jacket to avoid accidental use of his powers. He is 5'9", hazel eyes that look like they were ripped straight from a picture taken with a Polaroid, and a very light tan skin tone. Most would think he is rather "pretty."

History: Elias is and always has been a strange case; he fits no particular stereotype and is very much non-conformist. While being a freethinker he has many different attitudes and personalities to fit his moods. On the one hand, he is the sort who can completely push out all of his relationships, at any cost, in order to isolate himself when his emotions run wild. Adversely, he is capable of letting whatever is on his mind out, be it through words or actions, and is often caught having no off button or censor. However, all of these things are not without cause. When Elias was a young boy, aged 9, he was just days from his 10th birthday, the age at which the Cox family considers their boys of maturity, he and his sister Min were playing along the edge of an outcropping of the mesa they lived on when she slipped and fell toward the thick forests more than 100ft below. Elias reached forth to grab her with his air manipulation, but he was too weak to do so. He was caught by his father supposedly "abusing his powers" before he was allowed (as he had not yet aged 10), and was punished for both he and his sister, whose state was unknown at that point, for indulging in "meaningless exultation." The three years following his sister's death, he was conditioned, mostly by himself, to keep his emotions in check regardless of means.

At 13 years of age, Elias' mother awoke him in the middle of the night to alert him to the fact their mesa was being set ablaze by the opposing families that Elias' father had defected to just the year before. Considering the area Elias once lived was very "primitive" in their societal advances, these wars happened often and were regularly localized within Middle Eastern boundaries. The pair attempted to fight back as much as they could, but Elias had still never received proper training for his powers so he was unable to use them to his full ability. Elias and his mother were two of the few survivors that escaped the mesa and hid within a cousin village miles away, where the two lived for the next three years. With no suppression, Elias had learned to become freethinking as well as unrestrained so while he has his periods of necessary sequestration, it's not nearly as oppressive as when his father was guiding his life. When Elias turned 16, his mother had grown ill and he left the village, leaving his mother in the car of his grandmother as per her request. She instructed him to make a better life for himself, and to hopefully one day have children that could be given better existences than his parents had provided him. This is what lead him to enroll in the academy, so he can learn to control his abilities far better, and to develop a more rounded sense of self.

Ability name: Zephyr

Explanation: Zephyr is the term that the Cox clan uses to describe the manipulation of air molecules. Members of the clan can bond oxygen molecules so tightly that they become a solid form and depending on how well-trained the person is, the better developed the object is. An individual usually specializes in the formation of a particular sort of object, and since this power has been mostly weaponized through the generations, these specializations come in the form of different weapon types. For instance, Elias' mother was practiced in the art of creating pockets of air that would detonate like bombs upon contact, and his father could form various sorts of swords, from broadswords to katanas.

Limitations:
* Elias cannot maintain the object's shape for more than thirty straight minutes at a time.
* Elias cannot configure objects complex in shape, but rather simple things like knives.
* Elias cannot configure air molecules while humidity is above 85%, as water molecules, at Elias' current state, saturate the weapons to a nearly unusable state.
* Considering Elias' ability manipulates the oxygen around him and consolidates it into a small area, it is best that, at his current state of practice, he use it in wide open areas. Using Zephyr in small locations such as a classroom could result in a lack of oxygen, depending on the gravity at which the air is being configured.

Hey Magic, I don't know how long the reserve lasts, but however long it takes I hope you know I'll be working on it whenever possible (Character Sheet writing has become the most fun, creative, stressful and monotonous part of RP as of late) and I'm definitely going to be using my favorite routine of showing you the full character via PM, and leaving a much less revealing sheet in the OOC. That said, I've started using a "Character Archive" method, for those who don't care about mega spoilers. Hope this is alright!

Full name: Angelique Bellefleur
Gender: Female
Age: 18



Appearance: Angelique is a tall young woman, standing at exactly six feet tall. Although she doesn't like to do so, she excersises a little bit so that she doesn't look like a fat slob, and is physically fit. She has a slender, feminine figure, with average sized breasts. She tries to stay out of the sun, claiming it is bad for your skin, and so she has a fair complexion. She has long shoulder length blond hair. She keeps her hair neatly styled at all times, there is never a strand out of place. She has a round face, and large baby blue eyes which she claims are his best feature. She doesn't wear too much make-up, only some blue eyeshadow, pink lipstick, and a little concealer when something actually needs to be concealed.

For clothing, Angelique is very much into fashion, and she usually dresses more formally than most kids her age. Most of her clothes are very expensive made by well-known designers, because she has the money to afford them. She usually wears dresses. She always keeps his clothes neat and tidy, never a thread out of place. Her wardrobe contains a lot of bright colors, especially pink, her favorite color. Thanks to her powers, she has developed a taste for diamonds and gemstones. She will always be seen wearing random pieces of jewelry somewhere on her person.

Her usual outfit is a magenta blouse, with a matching knee length skirt thats a darker shade of pink than the blouse is. On her feet, she wears three inch high steletto heels which are the a brighter shade of pink than the rest of her outfit. Her ears are pierced, and she wears shaped pink diamond earrings on her ears, a gold necklace with a pink diamond charm attached to it around her neck. On top of her head is a handband that is studded with pink diamonds. She also wears a pink bow on the side of her head. She also carries a pink designer handbag to carry her things in.

Personality: Angelique is very much a girly girl. Her favorite color is pink, and a lot of his things are pink and have hearts on them. She likes fashion, and she has a taste for cute things. Angelique is very obsessed with beauty and looking good. She always makes sure she is perfectly groomed before going anywhere, and as such it takes her a while to get ready in the morning. She can often be found staring at her reflection in a mirror, and adjusting things as necessary. As such, she really hates to get dirty, and will avoid doing things that could potentially get her dirty. She will push you over a mud puddle, and walk on top of you to avoid getting her nice shoes mucked up. (Then apologize to you for it afterwards.)

She really values her relationships. She goes to great lengths to make friends everywhere she goes. She often attends parties to meet new people. Someone not wanting to be her friend upsets her, and she will try to make that person her friend whether they want to be or not. For the same reason, she also likes love and romance, and as such she comes across as a flirt. She openly hits on people (she's openly bisexual, so guys as well as girls) she considers to be attractive, though she is usually polite about it, because she is genuinely looking for a relationship. She also likes pairing people up who she thinks would make a good couple, regardless of gender and orientation, and jokingly teasing the two involved.

Angelique's parents raised her to be polite and well mannered, and for the most part, she is. She just has a lot of self-confidence, and can sometimes seem arrogant. She tends to overestimate herself, and takes it as a challenge when someone says she can't do something. She is also very high maintenance, as she expects things to be a certain way, and gets upset when things don't meet her standards. She has no problems telling others of their faults and how to fix them. She's not trying to be a jerk about it though, she just thinks there's room for improvement. Having become used to being given whatever she wants, Angelique has been spoiled by wealth. She has an appreciation for the finer things in life. She wears expensive clothes, drives around in fancy cars, takes exotic vacations, and freely spends money like it grows on trees. She is very generous with her money, since she has so much of it, trading a a few dollars for something better is no problem.

Sh can be charming and manipulative when she wants to be. She knows just what to say to win people over, which sometimes helps her get her way in many situations. While she typically acts friendly towards others, she treats people like objects to make herself feel better. She can be self-centered, and disregards how other people feel and what they need if it's not benefiting her somehow. It's not something she does consciously, it's just how she is. She was brought up believing that people's affections can be bought, and it's worked out for her so far.

History: Angelique was born in a small city in France. She was born into a wealthy family, who owned a successful jewelry business. Since birth she's been living in the lap of luxury. She was also homeschooled for a while, and was rarely able to leave the house. She felt lonely being in a big empty mansion with only caretakers that were too busy to keep the young girl entertained. Angelique's parents brought her expensive toys to make it up to her. For a while the shiny new toy would make her feel less lonely, but soon she would get bored of it, and the loneliness came back. She thought something better would solve the problem. When her parents announced a new trip, the young girl cried, and of course, her parents brought her a new, better, more expensive gift once they got back. The same thing happened, it would make her feel good for a while, but soon she'd get bored again. She would continue to ask and receive more and more expensive things throughout her childhood. It was great, and Angelique grew accustomed to wealth and having anything she wanted on a whim. It was nice, but it still wasn't enough, the bad feelings still didn't go away.

At some point, her parents thought it was a good idea for her to start interacting with other kids, so they enrolled her in a private school. When Angelique started going to school, and meeting other people his age, he got a lot of attention from them due to the fancy toys he had that they couldn't afford. At Recess, every kid wanted to play with her. Being with others that made her feel just as good, if not better, than opening up a brand new toy. It was then that she thought that if new toys won't help, then maybe people will.

She made lots and lots of friends, and Angelique was happy for a while. Soon his family had to move away, and Angelique was transferred to a new school. Having lost all the friends he made, Angelique was upset. She soon worked to make new friends in this new place, and she was happy again. Then her parents moved once more, and the cycle continued. She was never truly content though, because she always had to leave all her friends behind.

Angelique discovered her powers at the age of thirteen. She wasn't sure how she did it, but she accidentally stumbled upon when she was admiring some diamonds in a display in one of her family's store, then saw them floating in the air. She kept this incident a secret from everyone she knew. What would they think if she told them? She secretly tried to repeat what she had done many times, and she spent a lot of time playing with jewels. When she turned eighteen, Angelique received a letter inviting her to attend a special school in England. The letter was vague, and made it sound like it was some school for academically gifted students. Her family was thrilled, and shipped her off to Gilded Halls immediately. Angelique didn't care to be attending another new school, but was very much looking foward to making new friends at this new place. She didn't find out the nature of her gifts until she got to the school.

Ability name: Crystal Manipulation

Explanation: Angelique the ability to generate and manipulate crystals and minerals at will. She can grow crystals by manipulating minerals. She one can grow crystals from mineral deposits, and summon them from one's surroundings (including from salt and sugar.) In addition to growing them, she is also able to levitate and move crystals with her mind, and by using hand gestures. This can be used to throw them at targets, or just make them orbit around her and look pretty, among other things. She has a much easier time moving them, than she does growing them.

Limitations:

There must be a source of minerals for her to make crystals. She can't make them from nothing.

She can't extract minerals from people's bodies... She probably wouldn't even if she could, it sounds disgusting.

At present time, she can only make crystals from suitable sources, and move them with her mind. She hasn't trained enough to do much else.

It takes a good amount of concentration to grow crystals. It is not an instantaneous process.

Moving crystals is easier for her than growing them, but it still takes some focus. She does feel mental strain when she uses her power a lot in the span of an hour without taking breaks.

Holy bananas, I've been working on this all day and I have a huge headache and I think that'll I'll go fall into a coma now. (By the way, I'm done. I think. There may be errors that I'll fix later.)

Full name: Priscilla Anne Bellerose

Age: 13

Appearance: Priscilla Bellerose has been called many things: cute, small, adorable. She hates being called any of them. She considers her height the worst thing about her. Priscilla stands at a little over four feet tall, making many people think that she's younger than she actually is. Her skin is very pale, almost like she's never been outside a day in her life. Her long black hair is a sharp contrast to this. It curls gently and reaches halfway down her back. Some of it always manages to cover one of her pale gray eyes. Whenever it starts to annoy her, she ties it into two ponytails.

As for clothing, Priscilla never liked the fancy clothes that Alyssa tried to buy her. She wears a white beanie on her head that matches the knee-length white dress that she wears. Underneath the dress, she wears a pair of black combat boots that have pink hearts painted on the toes. Priscilla is almost always wearing a faded gray hoodie that's a few sizes too big for her. The only makeup that she wears is light pink lip gloss.

History: Nobody really knows where Priscilla was born, not even her parents. They simply knew that their youngest daughter had been delivered by a dirty man in a dirty cab on the outskirts of a dirty city. The girl had been born three months earlier, and her birth was totally unexpected.

Priscilla was born into the infamous Bellerose family. The family was known for being full of con artists and thieves. From a young age, Priscilla was told to never trust or love anyone. Being the impressionable young girl that she was, Priscilla did whatever her parents told her to.

Since her parents traveled so much because of their "job", Priscilla stayed at home in a remote location. Her older sister Alyssa took care or her, even though she wasn't much older. Priscilla ignored her and stayed locked in her room. She knew that it was too dangerous for her to leave the house because of all of the enemies that her parents had made. Alyssa didn't like how Priscilla was basically a shut-in, but there was nothing that she could do.

Priscilla grew up in that house, while Alyssa did all of the cooking and shopping using her parent's credit card. One day, she came home with gifts for Priscilla: an oversized gray hoodie and a brand-new brown teddy bear. The then nine year-old Priscilla took the gifts happily and hugged her sister. For the first time in her life, someone had actually done something nice for her.

The year after that, disaster struck. Alyssa left to go shopping and never came back. Priscilla sat at the phone for three days and two nights, not even leaving to eat. On the third night, her parents suddenly came home, and they brought bad news with them. They weren't able to find Alyssa at all. Priscilla broke down immediately and ran to her room. She put on the hoodie that her sister had given her and held the teddy bear tightly, only wanting one thing. She wanted to forget everything about Alyssa. She wanted to forget that her sister had even been alive. She cried herself to sleep that night curled up on her windowsill. When she woke up, she couldn't remember anything about what had happened the day before, choosing to block out any memories of her sister.

Her parents came to tell her not to be sad, but Priscilla had no idea what they were talking about. She didn't understand why they were watching her with such sad looks on their faces. She couldn't shake off the feeling that there was something that she was forgetting. Priscilla decided to push it to the back of her mind and forget about it.

She noticed that over the years there had been a few changes around the house. Mostly the fact that her mother and father now stayed at home, and that the family had a bodyguard. The girl paid no attention to this and stayed locked inside of her room most of the time, only coming out to eat. One day, on one of the few days that she was forced to leave the house because of "official business" that her parents had to conduct, Priscilla had tripped and fell, distracted by a book that she was reading. Her knee was scraped terribly, but as she watched, it slowly healed. There wasn't even a scratch to prove that the had hurt herself. She was both scared and intrigued. She told her parents and didn't understand why they were so scared. They kept her locked in her room "for safety".

Priscilla woke up one day to see her mother in her room, packing up her belongings in different boxes. She asked her mother if the family was moving, but the woman didn't answer. She simply said that Priscilla was going to be sent to a special school until there was a safer place to move to. Priscilla shrugged and watched as her things were packed up, but stopped her parents from boxing up the teddy bear that Alyssa had given her. She held the bear while she sat on her favorite windowsill and thought about the school that she would be going to soon. She couldn't help but feel a tiny bit of dread in the pit of her stomach, but maybe it was for the best.

Ability name: Healing

Explanation: Priscilla can heal herself, and if she even wanted to, other people. She's not very good at it, and can only heal minor injuries. If she tries to heal anything major, she'll be exhausted, and there's a chance that it won't work. Priscilla can't heal herself or others if she's tired, and the more people that she heals, the weaker she gets. She needs to be completely focused to be able to heal people. If she's even a little bit distracted, then she can't do anything. The amount of time that it takes Priscilla to heal an injury can range from a few seconds to a few minutes depending on how large the injury is and how well-rested she is.
Limitations: º Priscilla can only heal external injuries.
º If she chooses to heal another person, she has to be in physical contact with them.
º Priscilla can only heal human beings.

Kevin stands at five-foot-five inches and weighs 140 pounds. Kevin has short almost bordering on what some people would call medium length red hair which is usually styled with some form of hair gel. He ruffles his hair all over to achieve the messy let almost styled look. Other features of Kevin include a slightly more than average built body, he may not be incredibly muscular but he isn't terribly skinny either. He's shape is just ever so slightly larger than the average 15 year old. He also has a notably strong Irish accent.

Kevin's usual attire consists of a pair of jeans, a black t-shirt with yellow detailing along the sleeves and neck and finally a pair of white sneakers with red details. He can be seen carrying around a small backpack when its class time along with a black jacket whenever the colder weather sets in. When hanging around his dorm room when there's no class or during late evening his attire switches to a pair of black tracksuit bottoms along with a plain white t-shirt.

Kevin was born into a standard Irish suburban household on the outskirts of the city. His mother and father raised him to be a respectful and polite young man and always did their best in order to keep him out of trouble. Because of all this Kevin was living a very sheltered when he was younger and rarely got to mix with anyone his own age. The only time Kevin was ever able to see anyone was at school, and even then he didn't mix with many people. The kids in his class would talk about being down in the park playing some ball or hanging out in each other's houses playing video games after school. Kevin could only dream about being as free as the other kids in his class as his parents would never let him enter a stranger's house or head off somewhere unaccompanied. He was bound to his house and at this rate it looked like he was never going to be able to leave it. Pushing this stuff to the side, Kevin noticed something different about himself as opposed to the other kids. By the time he was nine, Kevin could feel something within himself, every so often he could feel something small tickle within his arms or his hands or legs. It wasn't constant, it only lasted for a about a second and it only happened on occasions but it was still something Kevin took notice off … but alas he didn't pay much attention to it.

Fast forward a few years and Kevin was now 12 years old and his father was given an opportunity to work for a different sector within the company he worked for, with an increased wage of course. The only catch was that the new sector was miles and miles away. After a difficult decision the family decided that Kevin's father should take the job in order to provide even more for his family with his now increased wage. His father would obviously move first, obtaining the necessary funds to obtain a new house, car and other basic necessities in order for Kevin and his mother to move there. So Kevin's father took off to his new job, leaving Kevin and his mother behind for now. Kevin continued to notice strange things about himself. His powers had now elevated to the point where Kevin could now see it. Picking up electrical items such as TV remotes, phones, music players and other electrical equipment could on occasion cause some sparks to fly both out of Kevin's hand and the device he was holding. More often than not … the device is then useless unless it's repaired.

Two years had passed and Kevin's father had finally procured a home for his family. However Kevin wouldn't be going with them. He had important exams in his high school this year and to pull him out in an important year like this especially when he was doing pretty well could have some negative repercussions on his grades. Instead, Kevin was left with his grandmother until he finished this year of school, then he would head to the new home far away from his current one. Living with his grandmother was everything Kevin wanted when he was younger. The freedom to do what he wanted … within reason of course. This year of school was becoming his best one yet, he finally made friends. They would all hang out late into the evenings, playing ball, visiting each other's houses, mostly anything that he wasn't able to do while under his parent's roof. His sheltered life was finally over … for now at least. The most important thing here was that Kevin finally came out of his shell. No longer was he afraid to talk to people or interacted with large groups. Kevin was now two years older and his powers seemed to have developed even further. Kevin could now, if he focused enough, cause a small flash of sparks to appear in his hand. It wasn't much but it was progress none the less. He continued to work at his power in secrecy. He tried every day to see if he could do more than what he did the previous day but it seemed futile. His powers didn't seem to be getting any stronger by the day, no matter how hard he tried. One thing he did notice however was his extreme tiredness and lack of energy after practicing with his new found ability. After practicing for an extended period of time, Kevin would often slump down in his bed, sleeping for hours in order to recharge.

What was Kevin going to do with this new ability? Even he didn't know that! He just continued to practice every day to see if he noticed any change. One day however he forgot about it and he reached down to turn on the TV set for his grandmother. With a loud bang, the screen on the set shattered into a million pieces just narrowly avoiding his grandmother and himself. His grandmother soon after the incident quizzed Kevin on what happened. Kevin explained to his grandmother that ever since he was young he could feel this energy building inside him and that just recently he's been able to activate it on command. His grandmother was sceptical at first but she couldn't stay that way once Kevin showed her some sparks shoot from his hands into the air. Both agreed that Kevin's parents should never find out about this incident.

A few months had passed and Kevin had just recently reached his 15 birthday. A party was thrown for him, one which included his mother and father who made the trip to come and see their son. However Kevin's grandmother couldn't keep the TV incident a secret any longer and ended up telling both Kevin's parents in private, Kevin was completely unaware of all this. His parents made a few calls and attended some meetings with certain people in the following days and after about a week Kevin received a letter in the post from Gilded Halls. Kevin could only assume that his parents were sending him to this boarding school, his grandmother never did interfere with his school work anyways. Although he did believe that his powers most definitely made his grandmother uneasy. Whilst he was unhappy about going, he never was one for disobeying his parents. So he packed his bags and said goodbye to his life of freedom and the friends that he had just made. He was about to become imprisoned inside a boarding school where he would do nothing but learn all day every day. It was just like being younger again. Kevin however was in for a surprise when he would learn the real Gilded Halls and what was really going on inside the school grounds.

Ability name: Electrokinesis

Explanation: Kevin has the ability to manipulate energies, electrical currents, and generate electricity with the mind. With the correct training and mastery of his power, his powers can range from shooting a bolt of lightning from his hand to powering up a generator. This power can even be used to take control of the electrons in objects, allowing motion control. Because of this ability Kevin doesn't get an electric shock like most people, instead he simply absorbs the shock and stores it away as energy. However at the present moment Kevin can barely create a small enough current to power a object as small as a phone battery and as for a bolt of lightning, a small flash of sparks at best and finally he usually ends up short circuiting any electrical item he touches.

Limitations:
1. At present Kevin cannot create a powerful enough current to power even the smallest of items.
2. Also at present he cannot create a powerful enough current to shoot a bolt of lightning from his hands
3. Attempting to power an item for an extending period of time such as a few minutes, will leave --Kevin drained and sluggish.
4. Cables that lie above ground exposed have the tendency to shoot a bolt of electricity towards Kevin, knocking him to the ground.
5. Kevin cannot enter the water, be it a lake, pool, sea anything like that. All of the electrical current in Kevin's body will react badly to the water. Entering water like this is fatal and could end with tragic consequences.

Full name: Ginevra May Morrigan
Age: 16
Appearance (Reference #1, #2, #3): At above average height for a girl her age, Ginny stands tall at 5'10", generally towering over girls and boys alike. She has straight, shoulder-length red hair that somehow always finds its way in her face, causing her to absent-mindedly remove it at random intervals. Her eyes are a striking light blue which shine when she smiles.

Developing early, she learned how to brush off boys' attentions and not let them get to her. She usually wears a pair of form-fitting jeans, flip-flops, and a styled t-shirt or tanktop. Her hair can be found in almost any style, be it up in a bun, in a tail, or just down.

History: Ginny was raised in a middle-class family as the oldest of three girls living in suburbia. She always found herself looking out for her sisters, but also enjoying their company as the three were born in consecutive years. The early years were spent with a well-balanced amount of play and study, allowing the girls to harness the energies of their bodies and their minds.

On the morning of her twelfth birthday, Ginevra awoke underneath her bed and screamed, not having a clue how she got there. She was never one to sleep walk or anything of the like, but her parents assumed that she had simply done it in her sleep. After this happening every day for two weeks, she tried her best to figure out what was going on. After some investigation, she found that she could pass her hand through her bed and to the other side, and if she really concentrated, she could phase her entire body through the mattresses.

Part of her wanted to share it with her parents and sisters, but she decided it was best to keep this ability to herself. She spent time alone honing her skill over the years, but found it difficult to find time to practice and be with her family. In the summer after her tenth year of schooling, she received a letter from a prestigious boarding school Gilded Hall, which after much thinking and discussing with her parents, she accepted. She thought that at least there, she could find some time to herself to hone her skills.

Ability name: Phase Shifting

Explanation: The ability allows her to shift and pass through physical matter such as walls, doors, people, or anything. It takes immense concentration to shift herself out of phase, but she has been able to pass through solid metal at a full run numerous times in the past.
Limitations:
- Sometimes, she can lose her concentration and become stuck somewhere until she can calm down and regain her mind.
- Shifting too much and too often can tire her out and cause headaches.

Ability name: Mind Control

Explanation:
(Yet to be named) is able to speak directly into the minds of people through thought. It's similar to normal conversation, except that the targeted person hears (ytbn's) voice inside his/her mind instead of through the ears. This ability allows (ytbn) to receive thoughts other people broadcast back to her as well, creating a private conversation between (ytbn) and the targeted person. At advanced stages, (ytbn) will be able to influence the targeted person's actions by 'suggesting' a thought to him/her, therefore forcing the targeted person to perform whatever (ytbn) wishes for a short period of time.

Limitations:
- She needs to recharge her ability by getting at least 6-7 hours of sleep per night. Without enough sleep, her ability gets severely weakened.
- By using this ability frequently, it drains her energy and with it her power to connect with people's minds.
- While 'suggesting' a thought to a person, she must vary her focus depending on the strength of the target's mind or risk either failing or forcing the person to do a completely different action instead.

That's ok! :3 Just a few comments on your power so far though. The main explanation is actually good, I was a bit worried at first but it's starting as more mind-reading.

For the limitations, how about we tweak it slightly! Leave the last one, seems interesting, the other two are quite generic though. How about suggesting an old favourite from scifi films - if they're aware she is trying to influence them, it doesn't work? How do you feel about that? :)

Also, with the mind reading/thought pushing - can she only hear thought=messages of those she is intentionally communicating with or can she hear ALLLL thoughts?

Full Name: Selena Bravo
Age: 16

Appearance: Spunky, tough, and ready for anything that comes to her. Selena likes modern day clothing, from cut-up t-shirts, to jeans with bleached stains or ripped holes. Any t-shirt with a red heart as the design is always her favorite. In fact, her short, tight black t-shirt with an angelic heart picture is her favorite, along with her dark blue skinny jeans. This is usually what she wears on a daily basis. Black military-style boots are also her preferred shoes, and she wouldn't leave the house without them.

Her natural hair color is dark brown, but currently she has it dyed lighter because it "reflects the sun". She has a green streak in front, which is visible to the side. The length of her hair is a bit past the shoulders, and prefers to leave it loose rather than style it in a different manner. The length of her bangs cover most of her face, but leaves one eye out to see the world.

Physically, she is tall…about 5'7 at least. Weighing at around 125 pounds and has a pale white skin tone. She is athletic, keeping her body in shape by exercising. She is nicknamed "Plant" because of her emerald green eyes and soon, her unusual ability.

History: Selena was born in Madrid, Spain, and was immigrated to Mexicali, Baja California Mexico when she was just 10 years old. She is an only child and her parents were just 18 and attending University when she was born. Today, her parents are both doctors in Spain, and as they decided to give Selena a better life, they decided to send her off to live with her grandparents, who are also medical workers. Her grandparents couldn't afford to put Selena in a private school to get a better education, in hopes of her becoming a nurse or a doctor. She stayed in public school for most of her childhood. She was gratefully exposed to music, and plants, and had her sight set on becoming a Botanist when she grows up.

When she was 13 years old and starting her third year of high school (equivalent to Junior High/Middle School in the US), she began to notice something odd to her body. She thought that she might be going through a puberty stage at first, but she noticed that she was getting so many headaches when she was inside the classroom for a long period of time. She also realized that she wasn't drinking as much water. Selena went to the clinic to see what was going on, and the doctor diagnosed her with dehydration. She was now required to go outside for a certain period and to drink two liters of water a day. But the condition never went away, and felt that it was something more severe.

One lunch day, she encountered a female bully who wanted to fight her. The bully kept calling her names, telling her that she was ugly and didn't deserve to live in the world. Until her temper rose to her limit, she decided to fight her. One punch of poison from her arms was delivered from her hot-tempered body. She also noticed that her wrists had vines coming out, stretchable enough to strangle the girl. The whole student body were frightened at Selena, and after that fateful day she decided to not show up to school again. Her grandparents agreed, and decided to homeschool her.

She wasn't aware of what has happened to her. In every plant she got near, depending on her mood, she would either revive it or kill it. She can grow trees in less than 10 seconds, plants and flower beds in less than a minute. She even has the ability to revive dead plants. But, in connection to her dehydration problems, she realized that she was a "human plant" unaware of where or whom she retrieved it from.

Now at 16, and finally has the capability of a college/high school student, her grandparents gave her a brochure of Glided Halls, a boarding school in England. They commented that her parents live several miles from the school and they felt that it was time to send her back to Europe. As much as she didn't want to go to school in Mexicali ever again, she accepts the offer. What Selena was unaware, that her grandparents are sending her to a school for teenagers at or around the same age as her with unusual abilities and gifts. They knew that she had the capability to control landscaping, but they didn't want to make it seem obnoxious.


Ability name: Plant Manipulation
Explanation: Selena has the ability to control anything that grows in the ground. Plants, flowers, trees, fruits and vegetables, etc. If it has roots, she will make it grow. She also has the ability to sprout a vine from both of her wrists, whether she needs to reach something far, or just because. But, her friendly vines can turn poisonous if she's in a bad mood, and those vines can sometimes be lethal if the person infected isn't treated promptly. Selena tries her best to control her mood as much as possible, as since the day she was bullied in high school, she couldn't control her anger at all.
Limitations: 
~must acquire at least 7-8 hours of sunlight
~must drink up to 4 liters of water a day
~If in a bad mood, her plants will turn poisonous and will attack anyone at random. These bursts of anger cannot be uncontrolled until Selena makes contact with a human being.

Dominic "Dom" Irving

Appearance

Dominic towers over other kids his height at six-foot-nine. Dom is the tallest of kids his age and it works out just perfectly for him as an athlete. He is built of solid muscle and is what others would describe as "ripped". Another distinguished feature about Dom is his large weight compared to how lean he is. He has so much muscle mass that he weighs in at two-hundred and forty pounds.

Dom's skin is a lightly tanned tone that matches well with his light brown hair. His hair falls down to about his neck and can be described as a shaggy style. His eyes are a dark green color and many girls have said they find them to be very attractive. Most people wouldn't describe Dom as a ladie's man but, many girls have been drawn to him because of physical attraction.

During the summer season Dominic can be seen wearing a bro-tank paired with some light tan khaki shorts. When the season's start to turn to a colder weather, Dom rocks a pair of khaki pants and a crimson sweater with a dress shirt underneath. As for his attire during sports, he likes to pull back his hair in a ponytail when he is involved in athletics. Dom doesn't mind his robotic legs and doesn't hesitate to show them off. He prefers to keep them uncovered but during the winter when it is below freezing, his legs can start to disfunction.

History

Born in Glasgow, Scotland, Dom grew up in the slums of the city with his mother, father, and two brothers. The family was often thrown from their homes because of their lack of money and inability to pay the bills that they owed. They would shelter in the streets and often be starving from lack of food. From a young age, Dominic was an exceptionally talented athlete and he learned many sports and loved them all. He soon became a star athlete on the playground but, was never able to play organized sports because of his family's lack of money. The government soon became aware of the family's situation and since they were unable to support the three boys they went up for adoption.

At age six Dominic was officially adopted into the home of the Ninneman's in Riverdale, Georgia. Emotionally scarred from being pulled away from his family, Dom grew to be a withdrawn and anti-social individual. Riverdale was better than being homeless but, not by much. He was enrolled in a public school where he was bullied for his accent and for his white skin. In that city, the blacks were plenty but, Dom was the only caucasian in the area. His new parents supported him though and tried to get him to come out of his shell. To do this they enrolled him in a football camp just to make some friends. There even without knowing the game, Dom excelled in all aspects of the game.

Dominic finally found something that he loved and that wouldn't leave him. Something that he could use to run away from his troubles, something that he wouldn't lose. As Dominic kept growing, his athletic prowess also grew. He started basketball, baseball, track, and soccer. Now he could finally use his skills to assist a real team and he led all his teams to a state championship at the age of 9. By that time the kids at school loved him. They now longer mocked Dom or called him names. Instead they praised him for his athletic abilities and said that the very things they mocked were what was unique and nice about him.

Now Dom had all that he had ever asked for, a loving family, friends that cared for him, and the one thing that he loved the most... sports. At age fourteen Dominic was completely dominating the sports scene. He was only a freshman, yet he made varsity squads on all the sports he played. Dom was already being heavily recruited by college teams all around the nation. He was invited for interviews on the news and even to late night shows. Dom was the talk of the nation, a boy raised in the slums of Scotland who came to the ghettos of Georgia was now one of the greatest athletes in the nation. Everyone knew him in Basketball because of his sick handles. Everyone knew him in Baseball for his ability to stroke the ball. Everyone knew him in track as the fastest guy around. Everyone knew him in Football as the man with the golden arm and crazy jukes. Dom was living the good life, and he knew it. But he always remembered his roots and stayed humble.

Even though Dom was getting so much attention from the media he couldn't escape the horrors of the city he lived in. Dom's parents were extremely strict about his habits out of the house and they made him stay inside the house after dark no matter the situation. That is, except one exception. It was the football game to determine who would be going to the state championship and was now inl Triple Overtime. Both of Dom's parents would have given up almost anything to stay but, they both had night shift jobs that they had to attend. The game lasted until one in the morning with, Dominic's team coming on top. Dom celebrated with his team and with his house being close by the team's football field he turned down all the ride offers that he had recieved and decided to walk the mile home.

Was it fate that day? Was it just coincidence? Maybe it was karma... but what for? The thoughts all raced through the head of the fourteen year old boy as he lay on the sidewalk, soaked in his own blood. The two legs that had just ran into the endzone for the game winning touchdown were now across the street from where Dominic was. The arm that had been used for throwing those deadly curveballs hung by a thread of muscle. When Dom had been walking home there were gunshots. It was just another gang war down the street, Dom had thought and kept on his trek home. Then skidding around a corner came an escalade packed full of men yelling and screaming. Dom just put his head down and pretended not to notice. But seconds after, another car also filled with people came down the same corner. They started firing away at the first car and the first car started firing back. Dom just ducked as soon as he heard the gunshots. He lay on the ground, hands on his head waiting for the two cars to pass by. As soon as they did Dom got up and used that famous speed of his to get home as quick as possible. He neared the Ninneman household but, just as soon as he crossed the street to enter his home a car came speeding down the road. It was the same car that had been involved in the gang fight earlier and there was another car coming in hot behind it. Don ran as fast as he could but a bullet caught his leg. He fell in the middle of the street. Another bullet him, now in the arm. A shotgun blast hit him straight in the legs. The cars kept coming. One bump. Two bumps. Three. Four.

The ambulance came soon after Dom passed out from the amount of blood loss. Amazingly he was kept alive, but barely. His life hung on a thread. A crowd had already surrounded the nurse blocking off Dom's hospital room. The media was sticking microphones in the woman's face while Dom's parents sat in shock while friends gathered around the old couple and sent prayers of hope for Dom. After a spending three weeks in a coma, Dominic awoke, missing two legs and one arm. He who was the star athlete of the entire nation... without legs and an arm. More importantly... all he had was his sports. It was his one love that he could rely on for support no matter what. Now, it was gone. The thought was too much. The big strong leader on the field that everyone looked up to was now bawling his eyes out saying how it wasn't fair and how his life was a joke. Dom spent the rest of the month, laying in his hospital bed, looking out the window and watching the cruel world go by.

As Dom's condition finally stabilized, the time came when he was to receive prosthetics. Companies from around the nation had sent all types of new limbs but, none of them seemed right to Dom. Some just felt awkward and out of place while others limited his movement or hurt him. After what seemed like the whole world watched their son struggle, the Ninneman's were contacted by the government. Apparently Dom's story had reached the ears of the head of a Military Technology company. The CEO took pity on the boy and had developed a prototype of robotic prosthetics for Dom. These new limbs would be connected to the nerves that were left so that Dom would be able to move fluently. Dom and his parents agreed to go through with the procedure and the operation began soon after. The prototypes turned out to be a huge success. Dom was able to move around fine in both his arm and leg areas but, he would have to endure a couple more months of a grueling process to relearn how to walk. After his physical therapy was completed Dom was able to finally leave the prison that was the hospital.

For another few months Dom wasn't allowed to freely walk and was subjected to dozens of experiments. He was studied by renowned scientists from around the world and these limbs were considered a breakthrough in the world of science. There was only one problem with Dominic's new legs, whenever he would run his they would go rampant and he would be accelerated to almost two-hundred miles an hour. However, this was seen as only a minor blemish on a huge accomplishment but, to Dom this was a major disappointment. There was almost no way that he would be able to control this while he was out on the court or field. Dom vowed that he would somehow find a way to control his new power so that he would be able to step back out on the field. To assist him in his goal, Dom's parents sent to a boarding school named, Gilded Halls. Apparently it was a school for the gifted and it was a place to assist them. A perfect place for Dom.

Ability name: Super Speed

Explanation: Flash Mach 1: The robotic prosthetics that Dominic received from a MiliTech company enable him to run at extreme speeds up to two-hundred miles an hour. This happens whenever Dom breaks out into a run. His legs can't be stopped in distances shorter than fifty feet and his legs need to be checked up on ever so often.

Limitations:
Dominic can't control his legs as of yet and once he breaks out into a run it takes almost all his strength to stop it.
The Mach 1 needs to be oiled up and is prone to random shutdowns.
Due to it going at such high speed Dom can badly injure himself and others if he hits something while running.

Age: 16

Gender: Female

Appearance: Rachel stands at about 5'6" with a somewhat slender body build. She sports a rather soft, somewhat paler skin complexion, one that is sat off by her enticing, emerald-green eyes and fiery-orange hair. The girl's long and straight hair easily reaches down to the middle of her back, although she more often than not chooses to wear off to the side in a ponytail of sorts. Rachel carries herself with a calm and somewhat shy demeanor. She is one who despite her bright hair and eye color, seems to easily fade into the background among others her own age.

In terms of clothing, Rachel dresses in a much more conservative style. She dresses in soft colors, often choosing to wear various shades of brown, gray and white. One thing that should be of note is that more often than not Rachel chooses to wear long sleeves. This usually stretches from a wide array to sweaters, jackets, and sweatshirts. She usually offsets these with various denim or plaid skirts, which she then adds a pair of black leggings underneath. Rachel absolutely loves boots, and she is rarely seen wearing any other sort of footwear.

History: Rachel was born and raised in Concord, New Hampshire in the United State of America. Always a rather shy and backwards sort of girl, she did not have an easy time ever really making friends as a very young child. More often than not, she would spend her time in her own yard, playing with various toys and dolls and constantly sit alone during lunch and breaks while in school. She was an only child to her parents, and at times they did seem to worry about Rachel's shyness affecting her emotional growth... But the girl seemed to be happy despite this fact.

Rachel's life would take a major change during her second grade year of elementary school. One day while playing in the backyard with some of her toy horses, Rachel happened to notice that she was being watched by another girl her age through a hole in the fence. The girl seemed a bit nervous about how to handle the situation. Part of her wanted to quickly gather up her toys and go hide somewhere... but for some reason, Rachel found herself not feeling quite as shy around the new face. Somehow managing to work up some nerve, Rachel began to wave the girl over... only for her to take off shortly there after.

At first, Rachel had thought that maybe there was something wrong with her... or maybe that it was just a chance meeting and the two would never see each other again. However, Rachel would quickly be proved wrong at the start of the new school year. Not only was the girl she saw from the previous day joining her class as a new student, but she was also going to be sitting beside Rachel for the entire year as well. Rachel had been a bit nervous at first to begin associating with the new girl. The red haired girl was worried that she might pick on her and call her names... She was amazingly surprised when the new girl turned out to be an extremely, downright energetic girl. It did not take long at all for Rachel to find herself growing comfortable around the new girl, who introduced herself as Ashley. In fact by the end of the lunch period that day, the two had already managed to become fast friends. For the first time ever, Rachel found herself enjoying the constant company of someone she could actually call by that title, and she would not trade this feeling for anything in the world.

The years went by and the two got along better and better with each passing day, visiting each other, playing in their yards and even making Ashley's new tree house into their hang-out spot. However, around the age of nine, Rachel's entire life would turn upside down. It had all started like a mostly typical day. Ashley had unfortunately been ill, so Rachel was more or less alone that day. Rachel and the rest of her fourth grade class had been playing a game of dodge ball. While Rachel had never really been a very athletic girl, she always seemed to have some fun playing the game, especially when she was put on Ashley's team. In fact, her friend always seemed to go out of her way to make sure that a ball would rarely ever strike Rachel.

When it had been Rachel's turn to be on the team that was throwing the balls, something unusual happened. She launched the ball straight at a boy who was on the "dodgers" team. Much to Rachel's surprise, it had actually managed to hit the boy... but instead of celebrating, her eyes went wide as he began to scream bloody murder so to speak. Her eyes went wide, noticing that the dodge ball she had thrown was somehow completely frosted over... and cracked in half from where it fell to the blacktop pavement after hitting the boy. While the girl would have probably gotten off with a scolding or something of the sort, there were two key issues wrong with the picture. The first issue, there was not a drop of snow on the ground. The second issue, it was the middle of May.

Every eye fell upon the girl. The teacher stared in absolute disbelief. The woman quickly made her way towards Rachel, grabbing her arm to escort her to the principal's office for pelting the boy with a ball of ice. However, that never happened. Rather, the teacher screamed in shock and horror as she touched the bare skin of Rachel's arm... The girl's body temperature was absolutely abysmal. Rachel began to panic as more attention was drawn upon her. She curled, pleading and begging that she didn't do anything to the boy or her teacher. However, the more she began to panic the more things got out of hand. A sharp, cold wind began to blow across the playground as Rachel curled up in a ball to try and hide from the gaze of shock and awe everyone looked at her with, as if the arctic blast was trying to protect the girl in some manner. It would be on this day, that Rachel was removed from the elementary school all together.

The problems for Rachel seemed to escalate from there. For starters, she would spend many of the next years being home schooled... and more or less confined to her house. Rachel did not exactly blame her parents for this. After all the fuss she had somehow managed to cause, the girl began to think that maybe she deserved to be locked away like she was some sort of monster. However, the hardest part of it all was the fact that she could not see the one person who meant the most to her as often as she wanted any more: Ashley.

At first, Rachel had been completely devastated when her parents forbid her to see Ashley anymore. They tried to explain to her why it was for the best and why it could be dangerous for her friend if Rachel were to suddenly lose control of her new developed powers around her, causing an incident like she had back at her school. Still, no amount of justification could make the situation any better to the red haired girl. It felt as if parts of her heart were literally being ripped from her chest and smashed into pieces right before her eyes. The fact that Rachel's parents did not want Ashley to see their daughter anymore did not deter the girl however, and she climbed through the hole in the fence that the two had managed to keep hidden from their parents so far.

She found Rachel, scared and worried and asked her friend what was the matter. Rachel jerked at the sound of her voice and told her to stay away from her. Ashley was going to get to the bottom of this, though, and proceeded to get closer, which resulted in Rachel trying to push herself to a stand from the crouch she had been in, only for the ground she was standing on to freeze over, leaving the girl to slip and fall. Before she hit the ground however, Ashley had managed to catch her, almost slipping on the ice herself. The black-haired girl smiled down at her friend, Rachel tearing a little up as Ashley told her that no matter what was happening to her, she'd still be her friend.

Once Rachel's parents had found out that Ashley knew about their daughter's powers, they told Ashley's parents as well, allowing the two girls to continue seeing each other. While Rachel was being home schooled, Ashley had to continue to go to the regular school, but the girl felt really bad for her friend, being basically unable to leave her house because some people might find her powers worrying. Ashley decided that having the powers of ice at your disposal was extremely cool and continued to try and goad her friend into mischief of all sorts.

However, Rachel could still not leave her house, which Ashley figured, must have been extremely boring for the girl. So, she did the best thing she could do, and decided to borrow her parents' video camera and basically constantly use it in her daily life to film (Or take pictures with her phone) what was going on in the town and the world around them, sharing what she had seen and found with the red-haired girl, which seemed to cheer her up, much to Ashley's own joy.

The two continued to grow up into a pair of young ladies, until Rachel received a letter from some kind of fancy boarding school, that her parents had agreed to send her to. This came as another blow to Rachel, who could not stand the thought of finally parting ways with her best friend. She noticed how depressed Ashley became when she informed of the news, which absolutely broke Rachel's heart to see her friend so depressed. The red-haired girl had prepared to discuss with her parents about not going to the school, when suddenly Ashley came to their house with news of her own: she had received an invitation as well! Together, the two would head to the UK to attend the prestigious boarding school.

Ability Name: Arctic Blast

Explanation: Rachel's powers revolve around the element of ice. She is able to manipulate the moisture in the air in order to create this ice in the air. She is not limited to just the moisture in the air to control her power, however. Rachel is also able to freeze various liquids such as a puddle or a glass of water very quickly. Also, Rachel has the ability to even manipulate the shape and density of existing ice, making it much more durable and into various shapes and sizes.

Limitations: As one might expect, Rachel has various limitations when it comes to her powers. For one, she cannot always control her powers as well as she might like. In fact, the higher the temperature a location may be, the harder the time Rachel has harnessing the full potential of her powers. Another issue she seems to have is controlling her body temperature. For some reason, her ice powers have caused Rachel's body temperature to decrease to an abnormally low level. In fact, there are times that simply touching the girl's bare skin can cause frost bite, one of the factors on why she insists upon usually wearing long sleeves. Finally, it seems that exceedingly warm temperatures have a negative effect on the girl, making it easy for her to slip into an ill-like state during the warmer months of the year unless she is kept in a cooler room or state.

Age: 17

Gender: Female

Appearance: Ashley just about scrapes the height of 5'8, her long, black hair framing her face, which she wears loose and usually just brushed off to one side, behind her ear, reaching down to just above the small of her back. Her build is slim, but athletic, always taking an extremely active part in gym class and even going to a self-defense class for about a year. She has a fair skin tone, though nowhere near pale, and a naturally gloomy sort of expression on her face, which stays put, even when she smiles and generally acts cheerfully, which could lead some people to believe that she was just faking her happiness, until they actually got to know her.

The girl usually prefers to wear a mixture of red, black and white clothes, but never really leaning towards any specific sort of dresscode, other than having preferred colours. Generally, she enjoys having her legs free, and you won't often see her in jeans, rather than either in a pair of shorts or a skirt, either with long socks or leggings underneath. She also enjoys wearing a type of half-jacket or something similar to it, on top of a t-shirt or some other kind of top. Ashley doesn't bother with any kind of makeup except for a light bit of mascara to make her eyelashes seem just a tiny bit longer and generally because Ashley thinks that it suits her really nicely.

History: At the age of 7, Ashley and her family moved to the capital city of Concord, New Hampshire, USA, from further down south. Ability name: Power-Copying

Explanation: Ashley is able to copy the powers of someone else she comes in contact with, as long as her skin connects to the other person's. After a brief draining of energy on both their parts (They should recover fully within a minute), Ashley has access to all of the other person's powers... and weaknesses.

Limitations: Aside from the brief energy drain, whenever Ashley copies someone else's powers, she can never be as efficient at using them as the original user. She can get close, but never surpass them. On top of that, when she first obtains someone else's ability, it's rather hard for her control, at least for a while, until she manages to tame her new abilities.

Full name: Hilda Gard

Age: 16

Appearance: Standing at 165 cm height and weighing 59 kg, Hilda is a not too tall girl with quite the nice curves. Ever since puberty started, she's had both a relatively round bum and generous bust. Her hair is blonde, fairly straight and reaches just above her shoulders. Her big, hazel eyes are most often accentuated by a thick layer of mascara and eyeliner, because without it Hilda feels bland with her blonde details. She colors her eyebrows dark with regular intervals.

For clothing, Hilda isn't the fanciest of girls. Her most common attires consist of baggy jeans (or slim ones if she feels like shaping up a bit) chucks and t-shirts with either a hooded shirt or simple canvas jacket over. Pink is a color she likes though. Pink and blue. She doesn't bother much with jewelry, apart from a golden locket on a chain around her neck and the occasional earrings.

History: Hilda grew up in a town in middle western Sweden. Her father worked as a car mechanic and her mother was a well liked head chef at a local restaurant. Hilda's older brother was already working with their father in the garage and their older sister was off studying in another city to become a chef like their mother. Hilda had a few years left before she'd better decide on what to do with her life. Both her parents (and siblings) wanted her to follow their paths.

On her 16th birthday, March 11th, Hilda awoke in the middle of the night. It was only a few days before she had to decide what gymnasium (~high school) she would go to, and she was nervous beyond belief. Should she build and repair things and lead a dirty life like her father and brother? Or should she cook and bake things and lead an overly clean life like her mother and sister? Or did she actually have the guts to choose something completely different?

She picked up a hammer and a beater that she had taken with her into the room for inspiration. She focused really hard, trying to make up her mind... And all of a sudden the two items in her hands seemed to blur before her eyes. Before she knew it, she didn't hold two items, but one. It still had a handle, but on one end of the stick there was a metal beater and on the other there was a plastic hammer. Hilda screamed and dropped the monstrosity on the floor. She didn't show it to her family though, and just said she had had a nightmare.

But the coming days, despite being a bit scared, Hilda was also excited enough to experiment and try to repeat what she had done. She managed, with really small and simple things at first and bigger and more complicated eventually. She could mix things, merge things... Cook weird stuff up from a recipe of simpler parts. Just by touching them and focusing on what she wanted to create. Or just focusing without a plan, for really odd results.

And on the day she would have to make her decision about what school to apply for, a letter came from Gilded Halls in Great Britain. Even though Hilda was hardly a bookbrain and had never really liked studying, she was suddenly adamant about applying for this boarding school. Her parents were a little bit disappointed at first, but her brother supported her decision to go her own way, even though he would miss her a lot. Hilda didn't explain completely to her parents what Gilded Halls might be about though - she only said what the invitation pretty much said: that it was for gifted young people. But she did tell her brother, and also her sister on the phone, about her strange ability and what she suspected Gilded Halls to be about. Her sister didn't believe her, which made Hilda sad, but she was able to display a "cooking session" for her brother and got his full support if she promised to call him as often as she could.

Ability name: Creative Alchemy, but "cooking" is what Hilda usually calls it.

Explanation: Hilda can touch several items of any kind and merge them into a new item with combined features from the original items. For example, a frying pan + a shirt could become a cotton frying pan. But it could also become a steel shirt. Or something else if she really focuses and needs something specific. Depending on how hard she focuses and how much time she spends on the alchemy process (usually it takes seconds but it could take minutes), she can end up with a random result or something very specific she was aiming for.

Limitations:
- At the start of the RP, she can still only focus on and merge 2 items into one. Eventually, she'll learn to merge 3 and maybe more, but it'll be a while. If ever.

- She can't alchemize humans or animals. Plants might work, but even that kind of life form is so complex that it's very difficult.

- At first, she won't be able to take an item she created previously and try to merge that with another item. Items she creates gain some sort of creative force within them, making it difficult for her to improve them further until she's learned to channel and control that creative force better. Later on, she might to some extent.

- There's no limit on how many items she can create per day or so. However, the more complex an item is, the more exhausted she'll feel after the alchemizing. Exhausted as in how you might feel after thinking hard for several hours on an exam, or something else that requires focus. Usually, what helps is sleep, but strangely also coffeine helps. Another likeness to how you feel when studying.

- Oh yeah, the items she alchemizes stay that way seemingly forever. If she accidentally merges two important things, too bad! Maybe at some point, she'll learn how to un-merge stuff but I think it'll be more fun if she simply can't xD​

Full name: Elias Cox

Age: 16

Appearance: Elias has the trademark short (with an extension likened to bangs in the front) white hair of his clan, said clan members famous for their hair turning a ghoulish opaque color once the children reach maturity. During school, he wears the proper uniform though while lounging in his room or roaming the campus, he can usually be seen in a black sweatshirt and pants. In his earlier days, he keeps his hands in the pockets of his jacket to avoid accidental use of his powers. He is 5'9", hazel eyes that look like they were ripped straight from a picture taken with a Polaroid, and a very light tan skin tone. Most would think he is rather "pretty."

History: Elias is and always has been a strange case; he fits no particular stereotype and is very much non-conformist. While being a freethinker he has many different attitudes and personalities to fit his moods. On the one hand, he is the sort who can completely push out all of his relationships, at any cost, in order to isolate himself when his emotions run wild. Adversely, he is capable of letting whatever is on his mind out, be it through words or actions, and is often caught having no off button or censor. However, all of these things are not without cause. When Elias was a young boy, aged 9, he was just days from his 10th birthday, the age at which the Cox family considers their boys of maturity, he and his sister Min were playing along the edge of an outcropping of the mesa they lived on when she slipped and fell toward the thick forests more than 100ft below. Elias reached forth to grab her with his air manipulation, but he was too weak to do so. He was caught by his father supposedly "abusing his powers" before he was allowed (as he had not yet aged 10), and was punished for both he and his sister, whose state was unknown at that point, for indulging in "meaningless exultation." The three years following his sister's death, he was conditioned, mostly by himself, to keep his emotions in check regardless of means.

At 13 years of age, Elias' mother awoke him in the middle of the night to alert him to the fact their mesa was being set ablaze by the opposing families that Elias' father had defected to just the year before. Considering the area Elias once lived was very "primitive" in their societal advances, these wars happened often and were regularly localized within Middle Eastern boundaries. The pair attempted to fight back as much as they could, but Elias had still never received proper training for his powers so he was unable to use them to his full ability. Elias and his mother were two of the few survivors that escaped the mesa and hid within a cousin village miles away, where the two lived for the next three years. With no suppression, Elias had learned to become freethinking as well as unrestrained so while he has his periods of necessary sequestration, it's not nearly as oppressive as when his father was guiding his life. When Elias turned 16, his mother had grown ill and he left the village, leaving his mother in the car of his grandmother as per her request. She instructed him to make a better life for himself, and to hopefully one day have children that could be given better existences than his parents had provided him. This is what lead him to enroll in the academy, so he can learn to control his abilities far better, and to develop a more rounded sense of self.

Ability name: Zephyr

Explanation: Zephyr is the term that the Cox clan uses to describe the manipulation of air molecules. Members of the clan can bond oxygen molecules so tightly that they become a solid form and depending on how well-trained the person is, the better developed the object is. An individual usually specializes in the formation of a particular sort of object, and since this power has been mostly weaponized through the generations, these specializations come in the form of different weapon types. For instance, Elias' mother was practiced in the art of creating pockets of air that would detonate like bombs upon contact, and his father could form various sorts of swords, from broadswords to katanas.

Limitations:
* Elias cannot maintain the object's shape for more than thirty straight minutes at a time.
* Elias cannot configure objects complex in shape, but rather simple things like knives.
* Elias cannot configure air molecules while humidity is above 85%, as water molecules, at Elias' current state, saturate the weapons to a nearly unusable state.

omgomg Daves in the RPC One question! Since his power uses Oxygen, and condenses it down in to a solid, what impact does this have on the air around him? If he used it in a classroom, for example, might people notice the reduced air quality? Is it safer for him to use outside? etc.

Ability name: Crystal Manipulation
Explanation: Angelique the ability to generate and manipulate crystals and minerals at will. She can grow crystals by manipulating minerals. She one can grow crystals from mineral deposits, and summon them from one's surroundings (including from salt and sugar.). She uses this ability to mostly to manipulate crystals, gems and jewels. When properly trained, she can form constructs from crystal, and alter their size, color, shape, etc.

Limitations: There must be a source of minerals for her to make Crystals. She can't make them from nothing.
She can't extract minerals from people's bodies... She probably wouldn't even if she could, it sounds disgusting.
At present time, she can only make crystals the size of her fist, or smaller. That will eventually change given practice.

Since you're not done, I'll just look at your ability :3. Your ability looks alright at the moment, although I can only really see it being a good way to make money! Full name: Priscilla Anne Bellerose

Age: 13

Appearance: Priscilla Bellerose has been called many things: cute, small, adorable. She hates being called any of them. She considers her height the worst thing about her. Priscilla stands at a little over four feet tall, making many people think that she's younger than she actually is. Her skin is very pale, almost like she's never been outside a day in her life. Her long black hair is a sharp contrast to this. It curls gently and reaches halfway down her back. Some of it always manages to cover one of her pale gray eyes. Whenever it starts to annoy her, she ties it into two ponytails.

As for clothing, Priscilla never liked the fancy clothes that Alyssa tried to buy her. She wears a white beanie on her head that matches the knee-length white dress that she wears. Underneath the dress, she wears a pair of black combat boots that have pink hearts painted on the toes. Priscilla is almost always wearing a faded gray hoodie that's a few sizes too big for her. The only makeup that she wears is light pink lip gloss.

History: Nobody really knows where Priscilla was born, not even her parents. They simply knew that their youngest daughter had been delivered by a dirty man in a dirty cab on the outskirts of a dirty city. The girl had been born three months earlier, and her birth was totally unexpected.

Priscilla was born into the infamous Bellerose family. The family was known for being full of con artists and thieves. From a young age, Priscilla was told to never trust or love anyone. Being the impressionable young girl that she was, Priscilla did whatever her parents told her to.

Since her parents traveled so much because of their "job", Priscilla stayed at home in a remote location. Her older sister Alyssa took care or her, even though she wasn't much older. Priscilla ignored her and stayed locked in her room. She knew that it was too dangerous for her to leave the house because of all of the enemies that her parents had made. Alyssa didn't like how Priscilla was basically a shut-in, but there was nothing that she could do.

Priscilla grew up in that house, while Alyssa did all of the cooking and shopping using her parent's credit card. One day, she came home with gifts for Priscilla: an oversized gray hoodie and a brand-new brown teddy bear. The then nine year-old Priscilla took the gifts happily and hugged her sister. For the first time in her life, someone had actually done something nice for her.

The year after that, disaster struck. Alyssa left to go shopping and never came back. Priscilla sat at the phone for three days and two nights, not even leaving to eat. On the third night, her parents suddenly came home, and they brought bad news with them. They weren't able to find Alyssa at all. Priscilla broke down immediately and ran to her room. She put on the hoodie that her sister had given her and held the teddy bear tightly, only wanting one thing. She wanted to forget everything about Alyssa. She wanted to forget that her sister had even been alive. She cried herself to sleep that night curled up on her windowsill. When she woke up, she couldn't remember anything about what had happened the day before, choosing to block out any memories of her sister.

Her parents came to tell her not to be sad, but Priscilla had no idea what they were talking about. She didn't understand why they were watching her with such sad looks on their faces. She couldn't shake off the feeling that there was something that she was forgetting. Priscilla decided to push it to the back of her mind and forget about it.

She noticed that over the years there had been a few changes around the house. Mostly the fact that her mother and father now stayed at home, and that the family had a bodyguard. The girl paid no attention to this and stayed locked inside of her room most of the time, only coming out to eat. Whenever she left her room, she could feel the conflicting emotions of everyone: the anger of her father, the sadness of her mother, the determination of the bodyguard to keep everyone safe. One day, everyone's emotions were so strong that they made the girl pass out.

Priscilla woke up the next day in her room. She was surprised to see that most of her things were being packed up. She noticed that her mother was in her room, taping a box shut. She asked her mother if the family was moving, but the woman didn't answer. She simply said that Priscilla was going to be sent to a special school until there was a safer place to move to. Priscilla shrugged and watched as her things were packed up, but stopped her parents from boxing up the teddy bear that Alyssa had given her. She held the bear while she sat on her favorite windowsill and thought about the school that she would be going to soon. She couldn't help but feel a tiny bit of dread in the pit of her stomach, but maybe it was for the best.

Ability name: Empathy

Explanation: Priscilla can sense the emotions of other people. She can feel exactly what another person is feeling, and sometimes she can even "hear" emotions. When this happens, she can hear certain thoughts that are connected to certain emotions. This won't always work, however, and when she fails, she'll end up with a huge headache and be extremely tired.

Limitations: º Priscilla can't use her ability for too long, or else she'll end up with a headache.
º Priscilla will sometimes sense other people's emotions without even trying to.
º Priscilla can sometimes get her emotions mixed up with other people's. When this happens, she'll completely shut down and become apathetic.
º If people's emotions are too strong, Priscilla will pass out.

Bit worried about the power - I know it was allowed in the first RP but it is bordering on overpowered - in a sense that Priscilla might start knowing/feeling things that characters/writers don't want her to feel.

Nope, not at all :3 but the majority have the potential to do something and that's why I asked MG XD turns out he was trying to be combat orientated after all.
