    Hello, I am a moderator of another forum, Pokebeach (my name there is Equinox), and I am also a competitive battler; my main and only tier being OU. I've been battling competitively for over 7 years (and with the advent of 2016 coming, 8 years) since D/P/P. I like creating teams that bring something new to the metagame, whether that be strategy or move-set. I decided to join this forum simply so I can branch out a little and meet new people to battle! I also have a decent collection in-game of shiny, rare event, and competitive Pokemon, and am an occasional trader.

    Hi there Careful! Welcome to the Pokecommunity! It's good to see that you're branching out to other forums. There's a lot out there and we all bring a little something different to the table :) Please do enjoy yourself here!

    It sounds like you'd have a good time on our battle server. That's where you can have Showdown battles with other users. Also check out Battling and Team Building, where you can discuss everything related to competitive battling. And finally, stop by Trade Corner if you're looking to make some trades.

    Haha, nice username. Welcome, Careful! I've been to Pokébeach at some point... Years ago. I kind of stuck with PokéCommunity though, made so many great friends here. I hope you'll like our battling community and perhaps take a liking to other parts of the forums as well. Merry Christmas and see you around!
     
    That's pretty sweet! I was never really a poster on Pokébeach but I might have an account.. probably.. that likely has zero posts, heh. It does seem like a pretty great community though and so many people use it for info. But I live on PC so it's hard to go anywhere else. x'D Welcome to the forum!

    Hello there. Welcome to PokéCommunity. I've heard of Pokébeach but never actually checked it out. I'm not really into competitive battles. I prefer just-for-fun battles. Anyway enjoy your stay and see you around.
