I got:

$40 each in Nintendo eShop and Playstation Network cards
a new tablet
a Sega Genesis plug-and-play
two pairs of Pokemon socks
two Pokemon shirts
two neckties
a pouch to hold stuff in my car
four plush toys
a pack of underwear
and a buttload of memorabilia of my favorite baseball team (bumper sticker, keychain, shirt, dog collar, pictures of the stadium, and the promise of a plush of the mascot and I can pick my own hat because I'm picky about my baseball hats)

I'm more excited about the neckties than anything. I'm gonna look good.
 
I wanted to go out to see all the pretty Christmas decorations, but it's been raining and the humidity is disgusting around my nick of the woods. -__-
 
We don't celebrate Christmas over here, but it was still fun! Had two nice dinners, a game from the Steam Winter Sale Gift Exchange here on PC, and surprisingly enough a present!
 
So I was watching an OR/AS Let's Play by a YouTuber known as MunchingOrange, got out my Alpha Sapphire that I had hid away for months... and my cartridge is still working!

I really thought it was the end after its "corruption" but my save file is still intact, and I can now continue postgame stuff.
 
I bought a copy of Crystal and it wouldn't hold save files :( my friend apparently bought the stuff for fixing it a while back so she's gonna do it for me eventually.

Apparently Japanese players who download the rereleases of 1st Gen can actually get a Mew event on ORAS. Now to hope said Mew event goes international as well because everyone wants a Mew.
 
The fact said Pikachu can't evolve reminds me of the anime. And I feel like ORAS's Cosplay Pikachu was their attempt at replicating such a thing.
