Hair care and style.

I have to put in a LOT of effort to take care of my hair.

I honestly usually let my hair do its own thing; my hair is naturally curly. However, I will occasionally put hair gel in my hair, put my diffuser on my blow dryer, and diffuse my hair! Huzzah!

I shampoo my hair every time I wash it, which is usually every night. :D

Do I condition? I have to condition my hair. My hair cannot be brushed unless there is conditioner IN my hair. It is near impossible otherwise..!

I'm actually getting a haircut in 6 days. I usually don't really cut my hair, though. I'm cutting off 10 inches (24.5 cm) for Locks of Love. :D

My hair is my second favorite feature about me, so of course! I cannot STAND not having my hair curly and good-looking. c:

Before I answer these questions, I must note that my hair is rather strange. It cannot hold the same style for more than 1 day. It is super thick, and wavy.

How do you take care of you hair?
I take care of my hair by keeping it clean and moisturized. The most harmful thing I do to hair is straightening it. I straighten it virtually every day.

What do you use to style your hair, if you choose to do so?
I use Bed Head Clean Up for Men to shampoo and condition it. I use Bed Head for Men's leave in conditioner to add extra moisture. I don't use styling products such as wax or gel. I do use hairspray (in particular Sebastian Shaper) to keep it in place, however.

How often do you shampoo?
I shampoo + condition every time I shower, which is every day.

Do you condition?
Yes. See above for my conditioning habits.

How often do you get a haircut?
Very rarely. I tend to experiment by letting it grow out for a while before cutting it to a "normal" length, which is medium-long (front hits at eyebrows)

Hair washing and maintenance:
I wash my hair every night because I use gel on it every day which needs to be washed out. So I wet my hair and get whatever I can out with just the water first. Then, I have a big jar of coconut oil that I take into the shower with me every night to use on my hair and skin. I get a tiny bit of that (you never need much) and rub it through my hair, then I wash it out with water. I do this because coconut oil is the key to life and it keeps your hair in awesome condition. Then I use a combined shampoo/conditioner which smells like strawberries (I DON'T BUY IT, I JUST USE WHAT MY MOTHER GIVES ME) and and wash that through. If I'm ever having a shower in the day time (which I only usually do after I've gone for a run) I just put straight conditioner in and wash it out so I feel like I've done something good lol.

I get my hair cut on every fifth Thursday morning. It's not like a stringent routine, it's just that I don't work on Thursdays so it's easy to do and it takes about five weeks before my hair starts to get too long (it grows really fast).

Hair styling
Step 1: Use the spray bottle to spray a ton of water on my head.
Step 2: Comb it forward so the water actually wets my hair instead of just sitting on top of it.
Step 3: Comb it backwards so that it's all spiked up.
Step 4: Rub gel on my hands and rub it backwards through my hair so that it's still spiked up.
Step 5: Starting at the back, brush it forward with my hands so that it looks less wild. I never go quite to the front, I leave that bit spiked up.
Step 6: If it looks messy, lightly do Step 5 with a comb.

Oh my gosh my hair is like my best friend! I'm not even going to lie, my hair is really nice LOL like, I have thick straight hair that holds curls for an entire day without the slightest bit of hairspray and has great volume so long as I blow dry it after I shower... I wake up and it looks perfect the way it is! But sometimes I straighten or curl or put it in a ponytail or a bun, depends on how I feel. For upkeep, I just use salon shampoo and conditioner, and I trim my own bangs when they start getting too long.

But beyond my bangs, I'm incredibly picky about who cuts my hair. I don't let people who aren't Asian cut my hair. Like sorry, but I've had my hair cut by non-Asian people about 20 times in my life and every time ended in a horrid disaster. I also don't get my hair cut by salons that charge anything less than $40 because that is a clear sign of a place that will not cut my hair into the style I want it in.

I'm kind of a diva about my hair, I know. OTL But one thing is that I have a lot of white hairs-- wtf, right? I'm not even 20 ugh. But the up side to that is that I can dye my hair midnight black, which is blacker than my natural color. I love jet black hair, so fabulous excuse to dye it every few months.

omg I'm going to stop while I'm ahead LOL

usually i wash my hair at least once a day with this "completely natural" (or so it says) shampoo.
since just recently i came up with the resolution to get my natural curly hair back, i rarely brush/comb it and just let it dry as is.
i usually use wax to style my hair, but i only ever do so whenever i go out of the house lol.
i get a haircut once every month now, unlike before which was once every two months.
i do value my hair a lot as it is one of my best accessories, i believe.

I end up having to shampoo and condition every day, otherwise my hair just gets so very greasy and unmanageable and...yeah. Not very fun at all.

Most of the time I end up just doing that plus just brushing out my hair. Just enough to make sure that my hair is neat and not trying to go every which way. Though if I weren't so lazy, I'd go out to get it cut - I think that's more than overdue, especially with summer coming. Hmm.

(Might be obvious I'm not all that concerned about my hair. As long as it's clean and relatively combed out, I'm good.)

I really should wash my hair every day, as it gets kinda greasy if I don't. If it's been recently cut, I can normally go for every other day, but as soon as it starts showing any signs of length, out come the shampoo and the conditioner in a double-whammy attack.

Apart from that, though, I don't really do anything on a major scale. There was a period when I was about 10 where I put gel/wax in, but I could never find a consistent style to go with, and I ended up looking kinda ridiculous. So, apart from drying it with a towel and making sure that it doesn't stick out over my ears, I just let my hair go completely au natural!

Back in my school days I would style my hair daily. I cared very much how it looked, so I took great care of it. I still take good care of it now, but I don't style everyday anymore. My style now is just a clean buzzed look. Not bald, but very short.

I take care of my hair by washing it daily or every other day. Today I haven't taken a shower.

I used to use something called HairPlay which I actually really really liked because it always styled my hair exactly the way I wanted it. This was a while ago and I've since stopped using it (or any stylizer) because I didn't like that I relied on third-party applications to look good. But now I've got a job where I need to look somewhat presentable so I use what I found in the bathroom, something called Sebastian Texturizer. It's not bad either. I don't use it every day though, I honestly just apply it when I'm changing to get ready for work.

I don't wash my hair less than every other day. It all depends on if I want to shower.

I don't think I condition.. I can't remember if my shampoo is an all-in-one though.

It's been pretty sporadic as of late. I used to get a haircut every few months or so, but 6 months ago I got the genius idea of shaving my head, kept the look for about 2 months and have been growing it back since then. Now it's actually slightly longer than I like it so I'm due for a haircut. It actually looks pretty bad, I should get on that.

Yeah it's important enough. Hair I think is one of the most telling features of someone. If someone doesn't style it a certain way then that's fine, they may just not be into that sort of stuff and want to keep it au-naturel. But if they always have a greasy head, that's not something I respect much. I try to look my best and that means at least having showered when I'm going somewhere.

My hair is...precious.

-I don't use any sort of gel, spray, or any sort of thing. I just... expensive shampoo and use expensive conditioner for the best results.

-I use nothing to style my hair besides.....a hair brush. I had the luck to be born with hair that naturally looks shiny and glossy without any need for...products.

-How often? Every day. In my house, hygiene is of utter importance.

-Yes, I condition.

-How often I get a haircut...er, twice a year at most.

-Why yes, the upkeep of my hair is important to me.

How do you take care of you hair?
I wash it every day, just keep it in check through out the day to make sure it isn't standing on end.

What do you use to style your hair, if you choose to do so?
I just use some styling wax that I have always had.

How often do you shampoo?
Every day.

Do you condition?
Yes or my hair turns to straw after 2 days.

How often do you get a haircut?
Every couple of months.

I sound so... proud of my hair in those. Haha.

I'm fairly practical. My hair gets in the way, but I need it long otherwise it poofs out like crazy. So, I wash it, dry it (Mum recently started getting me to use a hair-dryer, before that I dried it naturally) brush/comb it, and put it up in 2 plaits. That's it.

I Use Shampoo Alternate Days .. and comb it almost at regular intervals!...[I don't Oil it.. But i hear everyday from my Mom! that Applying Oil Resists Hairfall] ..

On Special Occasions only.. i apply a light gel.. to get some style on my Funky Hair :P

I wash my hair daily and have it cut every...six weeks or so. I've started getting it cut so that I don't even really have to do anything to it, it's short enough that it looks good without having to use gel or even really comb it that much. I use a dry scalp shampoo and conditioner, since my scalp gets horribly itchy if I don't use both.

I can't really be bothered to obsess over my hair like a lot of people do. :/
