At the end Master Chief and Arbiter fired an unfinished Halo ring to kill the Floods and end the war between humans+elites v floods v brutes, while doing and trying to escape the Halo, the explosion broke the ship in half so Master Chief didnt make it to the portal that connects to the Ark, so then ceremony blah blah they carved 117 on a big metal thing (dunno what it is but looked like a wing piece from a ship), then Arbiter and the Covenant shipmaster left Earth cause they obviously knew theres nothing else to be done, camera focuses on the number 117 on the metal thing and the end..
not lol if you finished it on legendary it shows that Master Chief woke up inside the other half of the ship that is currently lost in space somewhere, so Chief wanted to go in a deep slumber waiting for someone to find him but Cortana goes "it may take a while it may even take years" then Chief says "Well wake me up..when you need me..." ahh sad I know

Yeh Halo Wars is an RTS game, should be fun (I hope), Id seriously scream if they actually make Halo 4

No idea but hey Bungie can be creative at some point, come to think of it they never actually killed the Venus flytrap dude

i don't know much about it either, i was told it was an FPS, but it sounds like an RTS, all i know is you fight alot of aliens
