2nd Gen Have you beaten Red?

Yes I beat him many years ago... I believe my team was something like...

Espeon
Feraligatr
Houndoom
Dragonite
Pidgeot
 
I beat him ^^ Plus, he made for great level-100 training! Particularly when the Elite 4 have such low levels...
 
I beat him on my first try. i an't remember what my team was though. i only remember using an espeon to take down his pikachu and venusaur
 
I only beat it doing a monotype challenge for chrystal i set for myself using a lvl100 mistrevus. i never did it with a full party...?
 
With my sharked Espeon, yes

I beat him on the first game I played, but couldn't be bothered later.

My Feraligatr took care of Espeon, Snorlax and Charizard. I had a Graveler take care of Pikachu quite easily. Pidgeot pwned Venasaur. Ampharos blasted Blastoise. It ended up as quite an easy battle really.

Hitmonchan for Snorlax,
Typhlosion for Pikachi and Venasaur,
Forretress for Espeon, walling it completly and attacking with Hidden Power Bug (took me ages to get one),
Sneasel for his Blastiose (don't ask),
and Sudowoodo for Charizard.
 
I beat Red in Crystal with a team of Lv.100s I raised myself:

Sparky(Raichu) From Yellow Version, The Pikachu you obtain from Oak
Saur(Venusaur) Bulbasuar from Yellow
Zard(Charizard) Charamander from Yellow
Toise(Blastoise) Squirtle from Yellow
Vee(Espeon) Eevee From Yellow
Eev(Umbreon) Eevee From Crystal.
 
I haven't beaten him in years. My last playthrough on Silver I made it as far as Blue/Gary (whom I beat), but after that, I just kinda lost interest.

Now that you mention it, I might dig up my Silver version and GBC to finish him off. Just for the heck of it. =P

Yes. I remember beating him multiple times on the same file. I forget how you trigger his reappearance though. I believe you just beat the Elite Four again and he reappears back at Mt. Silver.

I thought he was always there. He was on my Gold Version. But, I beat him I think twice.
 
Oh my...that was a LONG time ago. I think I beat it with my Typholosion, and a Vaporeon, and a Venasaur. And possibly a Mewtwo. Yes, I used legendaries way back when. :[
 
Oh yes, i've beaten Red several times. His Snorlax made me want to jump through the screen and.. *ahem* destroy it with knives.
 
Way back in the day, so much that I don't remember what I used against him. I do recall leading with Golem to make quick work of Pikachu, though. Funny that his highest level Pokemon is also the easiest to take down.
 
YES, AND I TOTALLY REMEMBER THE TEAM I USED 8DDD

Not sure about levels, but it was:
Gengar
Nidoking
Typlosion
Pupitar (Which later became Tyranitar)
Gyarados (which basically served as my HM slave XD;)
Crobat (obv.)
 
Proper grammar is your friend, Quil. Anyway, I know I beat him, I just don't remember how, or when, it was so long ago. All I know is that I had a Feraligator when I defeated him.
