Have you ever given / would you ever give blood?

I wouldn't mind giving blood, but I don't think I can. 1st (and most important) I have type 2 diabetes, 2nd: Over weight

Have I? No, but that's my mother's fault. She wont allow me to. Which is sorta not fair, or cool. On the bright side, I'm turning 17 in October, and then I'll be allowed to donate blood without parental consent. Oh the joy! I'm so donating at my school's blood drive. Just gotta remember to take in some iron.

As for blood type, I wish I knew. Anyway you could find out online? (Really doubt it, but hey, it's the internet)

I'd give/sell my blood but I can't in the US. I lived in England during the mad cow disease scare. That makes me automatically ineligible before they can even look at any other factors. Knowing me I might have health-related reasons not to give blood on top of the obvious, but I'll never know.
Theoretically, if that weren't holding me back, I might be inclined to give blood. I've got some experience with getting blood drawn for testing and with IVs (although going in instead of out) and it doesn't bother me. As long as the needle didn't hurt much going in. *shrugs*

My blood type is A+, iirc.

I am underweight to give blood, and I do not know my blood type.

Interesting, my best friend studied abroad in London during that time or so I assume because she told me she could not give blood anymore because of it. Yet somehow even after being honest about that in a form she was allowed to last year during her time in an Americorp program. Even she doesn't know how they let that slide. There is nothing wrong with her blood though.

I couldn't be able to give blood because i'm underweight. Also, I have no idea what my blood type is.

I haven't given blood before but I wouldn't mind giving blood. My dad on the other hand has no choice but to donate blood. He found out he has too much iron in his body and he had the choice to donate it... he did but the funniest thing was he's scared of needles. He got through it in the end though. I personally wouldn't mind and I don't have a fear of needles like he does.

I haven't given any blood since I legally can't haha. However, when I'm able to, I plan to donate as much blood and as often as I can.

I THINK I'm AB+ but I'm not positive (oof, unintentional puns are painful)

I have given blood before and I, most likely, will give again. I am not bothered by needles at all and the process, for me, is very painless and quick, so why not?

Also, I am O- (Negative).

I've never given blood before, and to be honest, I'm paranoid to. I dislike needles and I have a big scar on my arm from where I was gashed/ sliced with one when I was younger.
I don't think it's too big a deal.. I'm O+ so it's very common.

TBH i don't know what exactly is my blood type but i'm either B+ or B- both are kida rare here..so i would sure give blood whenever i have the chance..however i fear shots like a baby but no problem though :)

I'm terrified of needles, especially ones the size of icepicks, so no, I've never given blood and never plan to. And I'm not sure of my blood type. :/

I don't think I'd be able to, the needles and the thought of it just give me goosebumps. :o

If it came to saving someone's life and I was specifically asked, then most likely, but I don't think I'd ever turn up to one of those event things. :\

I don't know my blood type, but if I could, I would. I've had blood taken out of me before and it's no big deal.

I haven't given blood but I would like to. Unfortunately it looks like I won't be able to, since in the UK people who've had blood transfusions since 1980 are not allowed to give blood. Funnily enough, it was when I got a blood transfusion that I wanted to repay the favour by donating some of my blood (after I had fully recovered, of course).

I have no idea what my blood type is. I forgot to ask when I was getting my blood transfusion and when I've been for blood tests.
